Unlike the rest of the site this building has been kept in pristine condition over the last 12 years and really looks as though it could reopen at any point.
No damage was caused gaining entry into this site and the location had already been leaked out elsewhere on TH-cam.
Filmed with Panasonic gh5, Sony a7s and Go Pro Hero 3.
Edited and graded in Adobe Premiere Pro 2017

I explored Harcourt extensively around 2011 at all times of the day. Not a soul was to be seen. Even spending hours there. It wasn't until I went back in 2017 that a caretaker of such was present. Glad to see someone finally made their way inside the elusive indoor swimming pool! Love the videos.

I remember that pool. Every day for a week we would go there, and I was too scared to go on the big blue slide. but about half an hour before we had to leave the pool for the final time i got enough courage to climb the spiral staircase. I loved the slide so much I had to be dragged away from it! was a big stepping stone in overcoming my fear of heights.

I think you're right, we got out of there fairly sharpish but I'd still stay it was a good 20-30mins of the alarm ringing with us on site. In that time I would have thought someone would have been in attendance (if it were rigged), also didn't see anyone at the main entrance when I drove past. It's crazy how clean it is, someone must be going in there to clean it as it isn't even dusty. Thanks for watching! 👍

I remember a swimming pool called Warner's near Puckpool park when I was a kid and it was about 1988. Is this the same site?

2:52 - I assume the indoor pool complex dates from the mid/late 1980s.

sometimes going in during the day is better, sound doesn't travel so far for a start and people tend to ignore daytime alarms.

Guys that was quite dangerous. So interesting though. Used to holiday there. What a shame it was abandoned. Such a lovely spot. Hope someone buys it and does the area justice. Remember they used to do kids dancing and their animal friend maybe was called .... Fizza? They used to sing a song called If you want to have fun with Fizza .................. 5.4.3.2 number 1 and stuck your thumb in air............... haha.

Because we have no fixed link and the ferries are not affordable.
