It is going into 8 months off all psychiatric medications, have devised a support group Facebook for people wishing to come off “Psych drug withdrawal support- alternatives”
This presentation is amazing , the other video on coming off different types of psych pills are amazing.
As a former psychologist would never imagine my life to be ruined by heavy doses of seroquel for no reason. It seems disgusting that vulnerable people are targeted.

Returning from a not REAL phychocis is painful. I can relate my friend. I hope I can refer to you as friend. The experience of this place of confusion is an auto-bond. It takes courage to go on. You are an amazing instrument in the hands of God. Im trying now at 71 to change my inner substance into my true self. I only wish this new way was here when I was your age. I always believed the answer was out there. Thank you for sharing your path of suffering. You are setting new footprints I would try in a minute. Money is the root of all evil as far as wellness is concerned. God bless you for believing in yourself and always reaching out your hand for help. I need help. How do we sleep after seroquel? I got off cold turkey and oh it was hell. Vomiting. Dropped as a patient the same day it caused me a pancreas attack. I can tell the brain damage. The thing is I have sleep narcolepsy. Why would they give me these drugs? I found out my dad and brother were calling in saying I was crazy.
I'm just super nice. Something I need to work on as I trust too much to now I'm terrified of everyone almost. I had to start the seroquel again as I couldn't sleep anymore. I wish they would put me in a coma and let me heal. I don't want to go through this hell at my age again. In my 60s. How do I sleep again? With the sleep narcolepsy I have to have my sleep. God forgive me and never leave me. Heal me from what these horrible ugly family members did to me. My poor children seeing me like that. I forgive and I feel so deeply. I love too much. Sometimes I think this is hell but I know it's not near that bad. It's just really a slow soul death. Prayers to all who are controlled and have no voice. God watches over you. I promise you that. Love to all. Love heals. Love makes everything the best it can be.

The general rule of thumb is to add up the "time" you have taken any antidepressant, and divide that "time" in half to know how long you should take to taper off while working to rebuild your ability to metabolize serotonin. If you have taken 5 years or longer, a 1 - 1.5 year taper for every 5 years on. "Time" being the focus.
HOWEVER, people tapering can't know how their nervous system will respond to a decrease in medication until they try it. Each person is different and some can go faster than others. It is advised to taper no more than
2% - 5% every 2-4 weeks which is a conservative, harm reduction approach.
People on SSRIs, a short time, and finding the 2-5% reduction too slow can speed up by making 10% (or less) reductions more often. However, if you get withdrawal symptoms, your nervous system is telling you that you are tapering too fast.
