the best POV street photography video i've seen in this year 🎉
Wow! What a compliment, thank you so much 😊

The colours, framing, contrast, depth of field and storytelling in your photography is phenomenal and inspiring.
Thank you Tim.
Wow! What a complement! I really appreciate that mate, you’re far too kind 🙏🏻
the last one is sick !
Thank you! One of my favourites 🙏🏻
Amazing work
Thank you!
All aboard the Marrakesh Express! Having the time to concentrate on a location pays dividends. Good work.
Thanks, Geoff! I must say I am truly itching to go back
great video , I like your pictures, and your POV
Thanks a lot mate, appreciate that 🙏🏻
This brings back some memories. I was there when they just oppened up the borders after the covid closure. It was a little bit different. I got harresed multiple times, they tried to lure me into empty areas to "see monkey" lol, but I guess it is better now. The city is beautiful, but dirty and very cramped. Ok, when I went there it was Ramadan, so probably that made it different too. I guess you choose the right camera for that, my A7ii was too camera like in that times :D
Just revisiting this video today. I love the shot @ 8:25 🙌
Thanks Courts! New video coming on Sunday 😉

Thank you, Neal!
Beautiful place and great photography! Always inspiring to see not just your final pictures but the work process behind them...
Thank you, Hadar! Really appreciate that 🙏🏻
Great sharing Tim. The last BnW reminds me about Fan Ho's photo. Bravo 🎈
Thanks so much! What a compliment - glad you enjoyed the video 😁😁
Wonderful stuff!!! It's great watching you going about your walks and seeing how you come across images rather than just posting the images you find. 👏👏👏
Thanks heaps!
Beautiful pictures as always
Thank you!! ✌🏻
@@timjamiesonphotos you're welcome
These are such lovely photos, and a wonderful sense of the experience of the city. I really enjoyed all these lovely moments that use your creativity to show a view of this place and time. I especially like the lady in purple in the mirrors at 1:36. I was trying to guess what lens you're using - XF 50mm f/2? Looking forward to what's next!
Thanks so much, Michael! I really appreciate the kind words and I’m stoked you enjoyed the video and the images 🙏🏻
Oh and all shots on the 35mm f/2 :)
wow your compositions are insanly good
Thank you! That’s very kind 🙏🏻
Such a brilliant walking vlog and shots man!! Phenomenal work as always, Tim!
I loved watching the set up for 5:35 !
Aww thanks mate! You’re far too kind as always!! Much appreciated 🙏🏻
Yeah! I love a good reflection, but there weren’t too many around in the old city of Marrakech, so jumped at the chance when I saw a composition haha
I absolutely loved this video. Hope it was as fabulous a trip as the photos you brought back. Loved them, Tim!
Thanks so much, Jordan! Really appreciate the comment 🙏🏻
Love the video Tim, your exploration of Marrakech was just beautiful and the shot @13:48 was the BOMB! Nic, Australia
Thanks so much, Nic! I really appreciate that. Glad you enjoyed the video 🙏🏻
Only halfway into the video but wow many great captures !!! Cheers for sharing.
edit: that last shot though :D
Thank you! I really appreciate that 🙏🏻
👍🔥💙
What a beautiful city! I really want to go there. ✈
It is wonderful!
Off to Marrakech for a few nights in July. I'm taking the X100F, and wonder if you have any of your own personal tips or advice? All I've come to read so far is how difficult street photography can be in such a bustling city, people are distrustful of the camera etc.
Outstanding photos, by the way. Love your composition and use of light and space.
Cheers mate! I absolutely love Marrakech. Yeah street photography is difficult but I had no trouble approaching it in a more abstract, aesthetic, light & shadow sort of approach rather than in a traditional street photography sort of way if that makes any sense haha. Billy D just posted on Instagram a lovely Marrakech series though, check that out and see what you think. Have a great trip!
Yooo bro, Amazing content as always! Love to see hunting pictures in the streets, I can’t wait to begin shooting more again after these finals
Cheers, Eliseo! Much appreciated mate ✌🏻👌🏻
Excellent
Thanks!
You really finished with a great photo.
Thanks so much mate! One of my favs from the trip, looks nice on a big screen!
@@timjamiesonphotos I have seen it on a big screen and it is a photo to be proud of
Loved this pov.. Morocco is seriously an awesome place. Btw love the music selection for the pov...forgor to ask which focal length or lens u used inthe XE 4
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏻 all shot on the 35mm f/2 😁
You are so talented Tim fully enjoyed both the video and the shots , excellent story telling and the last photo is phenomenal. What I love about your work is that besides the storytelling there are things to learn from the way you position yourself and the fact that you wait or adjust and than to see the final result , love this educational aspect of this videos. Music on point . Can’t wait for the Zine ! Thank you again for educating and inspiring and for the talent and effort you put into this videos.
What a fantastic comment! Thank you so much mate I really appreciate it, means a lot 🙏🏻
Amazing video and shots! I’ve been enjoying your channel, it’s helped hone how I see things on my street photography walks! Fantastic work!
Thanks Davey! That’s much appreciated, and I’m so happy to hear it’s had a positive impact on how you approach street photography 🙏🏻
Great video, and loving the music! Wish there was some info who actually plays instead of just a link to the label or whatever it is 🤔
Glad you enjoyed the video - the artist is Ebo Krdum
Amazing work buddy 😮 can you tell me which camera do you use for vloging
Thanks mate! For the POV footage is the GoPro Hero 8 :)
Loved the video Tim. Just thought I should warn you that you were being stalked by a dark haired woman haha
Haha thanks, John! I’m very lucky to have such a patient partner 😂
How many shots are you taking on such day in such an environment? I probably couldn’t even carry enough sd cards ;)
Haha, the way I work I’m quite selective with what I photograph, so I don’t take as many photos as you might expect when I travel. But Marrakesh was filled with opportunities - a potential photo on every corner, so I certainly did take a lot of photos there!
@@timjamiesonphotos glad you enjoyed yourself. I take it you don’t do high fps either then? Always in s mode ?
It really depends - sometimes I shoot in burst but only on a low amount. But most of the time I just enjoy the challenge of getting it right with one click :)
I mean @12:58
Thank you!
what camera are you using?
Fuji X-E4
I saw the same girl in a few moments in the video. It's is the girlfriend factor of the travel?
Haha yeah that’s my girlfriend, she’s the best putting up with my photography
