Great video as always Tim. Some good shots in there. My favourites were at 1.38 (legs of people sitting on gate in Chinatown), 9.55 (woman with white hair reading) and ‘the unwanted kiss!.

It's impressive how fast you develop the conceptual idea to make an image of a scene at the very moment it is happening in front of you. I'm working on such an ability for more than 30 years now. 😅 Thank you for another really motivating video!

Hi Tim, I just want to thank you for taking us on a wonderful walk through sunny London. I really enjoy watching your videos and looking at your photos. I found the scene at 2:20, where the father is respectfully and earnestly taking a portrait of his daughters with a Barbie camera, to be particularly touching. It is a great shot!

I can see why it was one of your best days of street photography. Loved the images . They are the best I've seen on TH-cam for along time. Fav was the one with doing makeup and you caught her eye looking at you in her small mirror. Great vid.👌

Great walk!! So many good images in this video but my favourites are at 1:40, 2:27, 4:02, 6:47, 12:35. The best shot of the day for me was at 9:48 of the older gentleman looking at the Ye Olde Books. Nice to also see where, as a viewer, we see shots as well. Good work again Tim.

I so enjoyed this video, my favourite shot was the eye in the mirror. Excellent, more of the same please. I wandered these streets back in the 70s when I was involved in the rag trade, thanks for taking me back.

Fine post, Tim. Subtitles well illustrated by pics. Practice and persistence pay off. Bit of luck helps. Blue cups, framing, and tower bridge couple (saw that one coming😊) my fav. Make up girl eye reflection also prime.

So Tru making eye contact I have a few with facial expressions I used think it was me the China town session and boy the tafar square had some keepers man tim you score I love emotions especially the couple and the little girl giving eye contact.ppl mite say it's creepy but I love candid street photography it's my tried and Tru when I am on a photo walk

Haha thanks Geoff! It’s probably my worst habit in street photography, I’m working hard on not doing it, have missed too many shots from not being ready! Glad you like that one, it’s one of my favourites from the day too 🙏🏻
I really love the images, Tim, and the video is very enjoyable to watch. It's great to have your commentary on what cstches your eye and why you took certain pictures. Petsonally, I'd prefer if you read the commentary too as it’s difficult to read, watch the video and appreciate the images all at the same time. Maybe that's just me, no-one else seems to feel that way and it’s not a criticism, just a suggestion. I love your videos.
Thank you, Mary! Really glad to hear that! It can be tricky as some people don’t like the voiceover, others do, so just trying to mix it up a bit! But yeah I think I’ll probably stick to the voiceover going forward :)
haha the shot at 12:23 is great. you mentioned that you were much more focused on aesthetics back in the day... how do you find going for more spontaneous shots that are often SOOOO busy? does that bother you at all?
Thank you! I like testing myself and trying new things or I get bored. Also finding myself influenced more at the moment by street photographers that shoot wider and include more in the frame, more documentary style. For now at least I’m enjoying seeking out moments rather than a ‘pretty picture’ but I know it won’t be everyone’s taste and that’s ok ☺️

6:05 is a good shot, 6:26 pretty good, 7:07 good with nice geometry balance, 8:20 right choice, but not the angle, 10:55 nice shot, 12:28 cool moments, 13:19 another keeper, 14:08 is a favorite -- got my eye on you buddy, she is saying, 17:02 some dogs get all the loving. ;)

Loved the images but the sub-titles/captions came and went too quickly. I found it hard to watch the video and read all the long ones before they'd disappeared.

During one of my Spring photo walks I came across a girl's gymnastics meet at the events center. Little girls dressed up in glittery tumbling outfits would have been a field day for a young woman with a camera. I am an old man with a camera, so I got out of there as fast as I could.
Why would it be ok for a woman to take photos of that scene and not a man? I think anything that happens on the street should be photographable if your ethics and intentions are right :)
Good video and good pictures. I don't take pictures of children as people can get funny etc.
