This was great to watch, unpretentious, well paced and with empathy for the people and environment. Now I want to make a trip. Thanks
Ah that comment has made my day, thank you so much 🙏🏻
The shot of the old woman in the church is simply beautiful.
That’s so kind thank you 🙏🏻
My two favorites form the monastery were the Priest talking to the girl in the doorway and the Nun straightening up the stuff at that little merch stand (or whatever it was). Great stuff Tim, thx for sharing.
Thanks heaps! Appreciate that 🙏🏻
9:11 I love this shot!
Thanks! I always find it so interesting to hear which pics people like the most or don’t like from a selection like this, I usually find opinions and tastes differ a lot and are usually never the ones I expect!
What a wonderful set of images. A great video, gentle but with a pleasing pace. Respectful too
Really glad you enjoyed it and that’s lovely feedback - it really does mean a lot so thank you
Was very nice to watch your blog about my country and specifically Yerevan photos, I’m a local street photographer and I really enjoyed your video. Thanks and wishing you all the best🫶❤️🇦🇲
Thanks heaps mate! Glad you enjoyed the video, hope my photos show off Armenia, I loved it there 🙏🏻
Thank you, Tim! I enjoyed your marvelous photographs as much as the video footage, which puts them into a visual and sequential context. To me these are aesthetic documents of spectacular sites and the people interacting with and within them. So, personally I don't care about any categorization of whether they are street or travel photography or what else. Chapeau!
My pleasure! Really happy you hear you enjoyed it 👌🏻
You are rapidly becoming one of my favourite you tube photographers for your style and quality of pictures and the way you portray the people and places. Your video made me look up info on Armenia. Send a link to the Armenian embassy, they should employ you to do their tourism work.
Ah mate what a wonderful comment! That’s made my day today thank you 🙏🏻
My favourites are probably 9:05 and 12:20, although the nature shots in part 4 are sick as well. Nice work man!
Thanks heaps! 👌🏻📸
Excellent video Tim! I really like the variety of shots you captured.
Thanks so much!
Excellent video and great shots
Thank you, Jason! Glad you think so 👌🏻
Very Nice, low key visit fool of inspiration, and empathy for people and places. Thank you.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏻
From first look an unusual choice of visit but what a place!!! Too many great shots to choose from but I have to mention the child in between the uprights of the monument @21:25
Thank you my friend! I really love going to unusual places. This trip Armenia and Georgia and I really enjoyed both countries, very beautiful and great people 👌🏻
I love it. I still learn from you. That is so amazing. Thank you for that.

Yeah it’s a great city, really enjoyed it there
@@timjamiesonphotosdid you feel safe with the camera out there as well?
@@bosiefoobaryeah super safe. Yerevan is one of the safest cities in the world :)
Great video so far! Love the first photo, I was saying to myself how nice it was. Cheers!
Ah thanks, Russ! Very kind of you to say 🙏🏻

I loved to see my country through your eyes and photos! Absolutely lovely video ❤
Thank you, Armik! So lovely to have a comment like that - I hope the photos showed off your beautiful country in a small way 🙏🏻
Lovely video and trip. I had a stray thought - what will happen to all the 'eternal flames' when we finally transition away from gas as an energy source?
Good question, maybe there will be renewable gas by then
Great photos as always my friend!
Someday, when it will be calmer, I invite you to visit Ukraine. It is very nice to take pictures here in spring and summer.
Thank you, I will
I like street photography and you captured the photos beautifully. May I ask what camera are you using? Thanks
Thank you! It’s the Fujifilm X-E4 & 23mm f/2
Fab video, thank you for sharing. What made you choose Armenia for a trip?
Thank you Steve! Appreciate that mate. I went to Georgia and Armenia on the same trip. I love to travel and my partner and I have been ticking off places on the old Silk Road for years, so have always wanted to visit the Caucuses - really enjoyed both countries. Sadly I only got into photography years after doing a lot of travelling through Asia, so lots of places to revisit with my camera (one day I hope!)
I like your videos and your photos. I saw that you shoot with the X-E4. How satisfied are you with the camera and do you use it with the additional handgrip?
Thanks! Yeah I love it, it’s great. I don’t use the hand grip :)
Nice video & Armenia another country To visit! Q; your web is it squarespace?
Thanks, Anders! It’s a great country, also went to Georgia - video from there coming soon. And yeah website is Squarespace, do you like the site? Always looking for feedback 🙏🏻
@@timjamiesonphotos txs yes nice web, I need one myself for my travel, photos, blog.. 🇸🇪👍🏻

Excellent video! Especially the last part with the holocaust monument! Kudos!
Thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed it 📸
Is Armenia safe for walking around!?
Yeah of course :)
The ripped posters you've taken all these years starts to speak now. Im not sure how, but you've made them speak in a peculiar way...
Ah that’s such a kind comment thank you! A couple of years ago I picked up the book ‘Nowhere in Particular’ by Johnathan Miller. It’s all about the abstract textures he photographed on the street with a point and shoot film camera over years. I’ve found myself gravitating to those ripped poster scenes myself as a little side project, always fun to look out for :)
Echo what @davidmoor8390 said ❤
Thanks! 🫶🏻
