Agreed. And to allow the plants he put in some more time to become established. Once those crawdads are a little bigger, they'll have fun hunting the tadpoles~
@@lyndacarter5090 Yup, they like to hide under rocks. Given that he's in Texas and the pond isn't that deep, I bet it will get hot as heck during the summer.

You're doing a great job stocking your ponds. No doubt they are going to have a huge variety of natural life. I thought for sure ya was going to keep the bass, but glad ya let it go all the same. Looking forward to what you're going to stock next. Thanks for sharing
it is so fun to watch your ponds come to life bit by bit. thank you for making it a gradual journey for us. when we are watching videos of the mature and vibrant ponds in the future, it will be fun to remember all of the little pieces that went into creating them!
I'm sorry but I can't just ignore the fact that this man not only grabs tadpoles with his hands like it's a rock, but he just caches quite a big spider and just pokes it out of the way
@@thebigstinker334 lol I live in Hawaii I dony have much ponds or lakes here ! I forgot that most fresh water isn't connected right to the ocean like here
Takes me back to my own crawdad catchin days as a kid, thank you for the pleasant times at your local ponds! Great job on your own beautiful ponds as well!
Man you have to make these videos longer, they are too damn addicting. super dope seeing the progress on the ponds. I hope they stays crystal clear and blue. 💪🏽
I love watching you slowly build the biodiversity in your ponds. It seems like such a long project. Hoping to see these ponds in a couple years teeming with life!
Been subscribed since 100,000, absolutely love the videos man. Keep them coming!! Be sure to get tons of hiding spots for the crawfish like logs and rocks!
Cant wait to see what other wildlife will natural make their homes in the pond! Years ago my neighbours put in a small “pond” in their back yard (slightly bigger than a kid pool) and within the same summer they found some frogs chilling in there. We live in a quiet neighbourhood but still in the city, amazing how they found their way.
To be honest ! Really love to see your 2 ponds releasing the tadpoles with the crawfish It looks similar a lake but completely beautiful-looking to put some creatures into it :D !
I'm very interested in seeing how your ponds turn out. I grew up on a property with lots of lakes so I guess this is why I'm excited to see how the ponds evolve.
This next Christmas you should get some leftover Christmas trees from people you know and drop them in your ponds with a boat. That would make some awesome cover and they would be free as well.
Ya know what's funny is I just started a aquarium build where I was capturing crawfish for it and the only difference between this video and me is that I didn't film it. Sometimes I forget there's other people interested in these sorts of hobbies but I probably just look like some crazy florida man out there with a minnow trap and some nets.
I loved having a Crawfish in my Pond! I started with 9 but he killed all the others so I named him Jack the Ripper. He was so tame, after he got used to me,
Back in the late 1960’s I remember catching tadpoles and watching them turn into frogs. Them days are long gone no more canyons all houses and apartments.
Maybe throw some fish pellets in for food until the ponds don’t look so sterile. I hope all the water lilies thrive. I’d transplant some of that marsh grass and plant some cattails too!
Hell yeah man! Love your channel and so excited for these ponds. Do you think there is enough food and hiding places for the animals you have added so far?
Fish whisperer, Two requests, first is would you be willing to put some peacock bass and pleco into the ponds? Or other types of cichlids? Possibly even catfish like shovelnose and redtail? Second, is put a bunch of rock caves! And little jungle gyms below, it would be cool to see the pond on the inside! Get some scuba gear!
Out of curiosity, why didn’t you also take the baby bass fish? Do you not want those in your pond? Edit: I’m genuinely interested since you take baby tadpoles but not baby bass. Is there a reason or just preference?
These ponds are going to have so much life.

so true! imagine all the micro organisms in there now like euglenas, parameciums, amoebas, etc. just teeming with life now!

I second this. It would make it a great ecosystem for all his aquatic critters.
Yup. Crayfish need places to hide.
