I’m in Minnesota. I have the smaller version of this stove. I just leave the feeding door open to tend to the fire. It is a cheap stove and does all it needs to do. But latching that fiddly little piece that holds that door closed could force a man to insanity. Thanks for your review. Very nice video.
From Minnesota as well and this is a staple for backpacking outdoors! Especially in the winter time! Great thing to have when exploring the great north shore! I just leave the burner door open when in use. Easier to tend to the fire.
Great vid. If you point the handles on the front and back upwards, then turn the top grill to match front and back it holds it in place. 😃 i love these stoves.
Thank-you for the good review,I have ordered one after seeing your video as I was not aware of these micro grills, here in the USA grills like the Hibachi or Weber kettle grill are about the smallest on the market which is still too large for a 2 person family...they waste coal...Im sold on it! Cheers!
Just got one and Im really impressed for the price. If you want to camp and cook with something that can safely take "significant" pans like skillets, the large model is pure win. You are absolutely correct about that handle though. It is totally in the way, and only seems to exist so that you can move the stove whilst its assembled and running...... Seriously considering getting out my fencing plyers and just changing that. Strangely mine came with this weird wire U-bend handle "thing". Its almost like an aftermarket widget for pulling the handle up so you can access the flap. That said, very happy with it. I have an enormous 4 man Eurohike tepee, and I would consider running this inside, on very VERY low amounts of fuel, if it was set down on a couple of rocks.
I agree not bad for money at all and I'm sure it would work well in a large teepee tent 👌 An adaptation of the handle is definitely on the cards Thanks for watching 👍
I have the same stove and the the big grab handle is tight on mine. I think you can bend it slightly to make it tighter or just multiple uses. A mod I would want to do is add a lid some how and drop the grill lower. Cheers

Thanks for watching 👍 I think leaving feed door open sounds a good option cheers buddy
I use paper clips to keep the grill in place and a flat Neodymium magnet to keep the handle out of the way of the door.
Good shout 👌
Great bit of kit 👍🏼

Use a bent large paper clip to hook the handle up. I have a similar stove and it has the same problem.
Good shout thanks for watching 👍

Greetings From Nova Scotia Canada & I Got The Exact Same Stove & All I Use It For Is Charcoal BBQs & It Works Excellent !!
Thanks for watching buddy and welcome 👌
Have the same one great bit of kit and good choice with the egg sandwich💪🏻
Thanks mate I found it pretty good apart from that dodgy handle 🤣
For the handle that keeps dropping down in front of the door, just use a little magnet, simple.
Good shout thanks for watching 👍💪
Bought one on ebay for 12 quid .cheap as chips and lasts a long time
Good price 👌 thanks for watching

Great sammich, and stove. If you want your cast iron to be nonstick, heat it before adding the oil.
Is that a Lodge cast iron skillet? I have a few.
Cheers buddy 👌
hook the grill plate to the handle's and it will keep them out of your. just fyi

If you had used something to raise the pan it would not smoke so much..
0:52 "That's a knife."
Cheers Chris 👍
Harika video için teşekkür ederim 🙏
I’ve got one of these and the little handle on mine does not cover the door so I wonder if feedback made them alter the design!
Hopefully so 🙏that's a dodgy feature on it but if they have changed it it's good thanks for watching buddy
Cool vid again mate. Gonna look at getting one. Did the egg taste smokey?
It had a hint of smoke was delicious 👌💪
that's not a stove, it's a fire pit.
