I just bought one like yours on Amazon today for $14. They gave me a huge discount & I wasn't about to pass it up. Can't wait to get it & try it out, as I've been wanting one of these stoves for a while now. I'm pretty stoked for it. Great video, btw I enjoyed it 👍
Looked like a great meal and the stove seemed to do a really nice job. I have been really enjoying my Firebox Nano stove this summer when larger fires have been un-needed. The stove you have is quite a bit bigger and looks like it would be great for a group setting especially. Nice job brother.
I do enjoy the fact I can cook for the whole crew on it. The firebox stoves are made out of a lot tougher materials, but It would take me while to do any damage to this one lol. Thanks Matt
This is hands down the best video for the RedCamp stove...I've watched several and everyone keeps having to feed the fire very often. You seemed to not have to do so as often. Maybe because the door was closed (although closing the door usually seems to make the fire burn hotter). I'm sold and I'm gonna order it. I'm gonna try to find that nifty lil table too!! Thank you sir!
Well, my folding stove and table arrived today! It was scheduled originally for tomorrow! Now I'm ready for the zombie apocalypse! Thanks again bro. Don't ever think ur videos dont make a difference!
@@WoodcraftLeagueOfAmerica I just watched it. This is a huge undertaking that's going to benefit many and help turn young boys to men! In these times stuff like this needs to be learned. God is going to richly bless your endeavors!
That stove performed well in the wind, I have been experimenting making hard wood charcoal which turns out really well using an old paint tin. I know you know but if you needed it, it will give a nice clean consistent burn but does take some extra work to make. ATB
...and yeah, the wind was blowing real hard. Moments after I finished my lunch, half the tree next to me snapped. No sign of rot or anything, the wind was just so strong it bent that maple and snapped it.
@@WoodcraftLeagueOfAmerica We have had some unusually strong winds recently which has snapped a lot of Ash and Sycamore off. I am slowly gathering it up and it will do for fire wood in a year or two if I get it logged
Nice vid. I have the smaller stove. I even have that table too. Ive never cooked atop it. I know there are plastic parts under the table and shock cord. Have you noticed the heat melting those parts below the table?
Can't wait for mine to arrive! FYI.. Buy the Can cooker. I got one as my friend used it with this stove and works fabulous! I got the CanCooker on Amazon as well. 😎 Thanx for sharing!
Forgot to add.. One amazing benefit of the Can cooker is... if heavy wind, child, animal etc.. knocks your table or cooker down, the food doesn't spill out! The lid locks down. Only a tiny steam hole on top. It pressure steams and cooks food but safer than a regular pressure cooker and you can use it over fire, grill or stove.
Just ordered this combo but maybe the smaller stove hard to tell if yours is the bigger one or not. Can’t wait to try them hot tent camping be fun to cook on to mix things up alittle
@@WoodcraftLeagueOfAmerica well yes, that is true, we don't have a history of canning here in Ireland, but I have learned so much about canning here on YT, especially from the channel Whirlpool Holler, you have convinced me to try it, thank you Sir. I am still watching your video, very informative and extremely interesting..
You probably know by now, that the "handles" are actually stabilisers that fit into the cooking grate rather than to be used for handles. Although, I have read on the Amazon reviews that this not is the case with the large model.
Yeah, I already knew it was going to be a pain to take that blue film off, so I put on some music, brewed some coffee and set aside an hour to remove it lol
You are worried about adding the salt from the canned chicken? You tossed in 3 bullion cubes and a half a stick of butter. Then you decided to just toss it all in.
Another easy chicken dish is tortilla soup. Do just what you have done, then Cut up about 4 torillas In small pieces and add to the broth as it boils. In about twenty minutes you have delicious tortilla soup. No mixing.

Absolutely loved this video bro I had just ordered that stove tonight the birds chirping it was so relaxing 😎

Great video, brother. Love the recipe, thank you! And that stove and metal table combination is absolutely perfect.
my pleasure, I definitely enjoy that combo of table and stove. Thanks!

My pleasure. I cook in wood stoves nearly everyday. The trick is don’t overload it with fuel. Add fuel gradually.
@@WoodcraftLeagueOfAmerica I'll remember that!!

Thanks for the vid; unpretentious, good recipe with off-the-shelf storable foods, and a good demo of the stove I just added to my SHTF bag.
glad you liked it. I actually just used that stove again today. Tough little stove.
Meals don't haver to be complicated.. just good lol looked delicious
thanks, buddy. It was tasty. My little boy approved as he asked me to make another batch lol
Nice recipe and cool stove.
Thanks

I'm definitely trying some hardwood charcoal in this. I have a 50 gallon drum of it, I made last year, in my barn lol.

nope, no problems whatsoever
Where did you get that little table. Love the video
Just a cheap, aluminum backpacking table I found on Amazon
Love a man that can cook, lucky wife 😉, gonna get stove for my bug out bag, and, gotta have the pot!!.. ez ingredients to carry.. stay well 😇👍

Mine's the bigger one, but I have the smaller one as well and like it just fine. Merry Christmas and enjoy you're hot tent camping.
We just bought one for camping and did simple stuffs outside the yard.
We love it, just folded away. Finally China did something right!
Cool. I find myself using it a lot. Nice and simple and sturdy.
After a year how do u like it

It's this one right here amzn.to/3kGZQvp
Me too, me too, love the table!!!🙃
THANK YOU...that's what I needed to know
Where did you get that metal table? Please
It's a simple, light weight aluminum camping table I got off amazon. Nothing fancy, pretty generic.

I'm also wondering what pot you used it's like the perfect size for that stove
Self-Reliance Outfitters' 120 oz Stainless Steel bush pot

I wonder why we cannot get canned chicken here in Ireland, would love to try it. Thanks for the review, about to purchase the stove from Amazon.
You can always can it yourself.

On my model, they're handles.
What do u think of the stove now ?
Still love it
I like to load mine up before lightning and let some nice coals form before cooking.
I get a good bed of coals going for cooking meat. But, when mostly boiling, a good flame is what we need.
I just got this stove... Gotta break it in!
That blue film was hell for me to get off!
Yeah, I already knew it was going to be a pain to take that blue film off, so I put on some music, brewed some coffee and set aside an hour to remove it lol
They are now selling them without the blue film after many complaints. 😎 I just ordered one! 😁😁
That’s good to hear!
Hello, what height is 27cm or 35cm? thanks
almost 11 inches tall
Shiny equipment
that day the stove was shiny... not any more lol
Delish!
it is soooooo good!

this stove holds enough wood to actually cook on.
Sure does. I use it often
Wife doesn't like chicken and dumplings?!? COMMUNIST! 😂😂
I think you're the only one that caught that comment lol
Nice recipe and cool stove.
