Slow blinking is the best way to say "it's ok, I'm ok with you around." Most of the time they respond the same way. I use that for every cat I want to communicate and it works.

Great tips, and I have one more. When you walk into a room or your cat does, give it the "greeting" other cats give each other when they run into each other and are friendly toward one another. Lift your chin slightly and make a short "hrrr" or "mrrr" sound. Cats do this to communicate, "I see you, I respect you, and I'm friendly."

Awww! My cat and i used to run back and forth from the living room to the bed in the bedroom playing tag! Sable would literally run after me after i tagged her and she would smack my ankle with her paw to tag me back!

Hey my cat too 👉he started it‼️ He would startle me by pawing my feet or biting my shin bones then run as fast as he could and hide under furniture, then I had to chase him and tag him. Then it's his turn again. Now you might say that's fun but here's the thing, he will only play this game between 2 to 4 a.m. if he happens to catch me in the hallway😆. I've tried numerous times to ignore him and get under the covers to resume my sleep but then guilt takes over and I am 'compelled' to get back out there again. The excitement on his sweet face is irresistible🐱🐾
Put a towel or blanket in the dryer to warm it up for the kitty to lay on. Especially older cats love this because they can't regulate their temperature as easily and love warmth! 💜🐈

Instead of leaving the faucet running you can buy a fountain specifically designed for cats to drink out of that purifies the water with filters.
No good ,it need to be filling all the time if you forget ? Faucet is the best and also a big package of food and case something happen to you when you are not at home.
We have a huge pet water fountain. It gets run through the dishwasher and the 3 cats will sit starring at the door until I unload it! They are old cats that can't climb up on the cabinets anymore!!!

My cat and I are SUPER close I talk with her and feed her and I’ve found a way to train her (a tiny bit) she understands “stay” “sit” and “come here” I’ve also found a way to read her emotions if she is looking around and is pacing she is scared or uncomfortable with the situation and sometimes she will shake when she scared I always give her a big hug when she is visibly scared!

My little Neo and Trinity are the love of my life and my best friends. And yes. I've wathed this, only to find that I'm doing all this and more. Neo had to go to the vet a few weeks ago. He had a lot of tartar and he diden't want to play. I could tell that he wasen't feeling alright. Now he's feeling a lot better and he loves to play. My best tip is to get to know your cats normal behavior. If their behavior change, you should take them to the vet first. If there is nothing wrong, you should try to find out what's going on. OK so first off, when your cat is taking a nap, even if you don't think it will stay, when ur say, going up stairs, bring it up with you, it will feel like it's not alone, Imagen waking up, to complete darkness and no one around. Sad right?
Second, sometimes, when it's doing something fun, when u pick ur cat up, you will most likely bring her/he in, or take her/he somewhere, well, they will wiggle to try to get away, and feel like fun is over, well, every now and then, just pick the cat up, to either show it something. Or put it back diwn, then, they won't be afraid to be picked up, and try to run
And make sure to let them get on ur level, such as picking then up, or go on the floor and play with them, cuz they will feel forgotten, snd small to the world, when u pick the cat up, to like a window, or something, if there is a bird or something, then, well, talk to ur cat, like"oo, what's that? What do u see?" Or "where'd he go?! Awww" then they won't feel alone, Imagen feeling like you can't talk to anyone, and being forgotten, with no one to tell feeling to, well, hope this helps, please put me in ur next video, and put this text there aswell

My love and affection to my cat molly is art, I like to sketch so once I drew a picture of me and her under a tree and I had to explain to her what I was showing her and who they were then she leaned forward and licked me on the lips. She is very independent and sassy so sometimes I be like her and she loves that.

My cat was sleeping when I held her paw, she loved it.
But once she nibbled my thumb
All cats are different and react differently to things. One of my cats (I have a few) reacted like this, too. Claws are one of the cat’s biggest things to use as defence, so if they feel attacked, they’ll usually claw or scratch something. Sometimes holding their paws will feel to them like you’re stopping them from defending themselves if something was to attack them, so they will try to attack you and make you let go. Next time, maybe wait for your cat to hold out it’s paw first, or try a gentler way of holding it. :)
