- I spent 2 weeks hiking in the Swiss Alps travelling from Grindelwald to Zermatt.
Beginning with a few days in the Jungfrau region, I hiked through Grindelwald, Wengen, Lauterbrunnen and Mürren.
Then I moved onto Kandersteg to see the stunning lake of Oeschinensee.
In Leukerbad I experienced the incredible fireworks of Swiss National Day.
Randa I walked along the the world's 3 longest hanging bridge of Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge.
And finally I had a few days in Zermatt, hiking up to the Gornergrat and experiencing the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise.

IT IS AMAZING HOW YOUR MOM WALKS ALL THE WAY ALONG WITH U. I WAS IN SWITZERLAND IN THE LATE 1950. I VISITED JUST ZURICH FOR MY TEXTILE TRAINING ON RUTI AUTO LOOMS. I AM 90 YEARS OLD MAN RESIDING IN HYD, INDIA AFTER STAYING MOST OF MY LIFE IN CANADA. MISS MY DEAR OLD CANADA.
Honestly that was magical. I didn't want it to end. The scenery is just out of this world. Wow!

I had 6 glorious days based in Gimmelwald last July and as a solo female traveller, I felt really safe hiking around alone. Breathtaking landscape, immaculately clean and extremely well organised hiking routes and transportation. It is pricey to eat and hotels are expensive but hostels are available too if on a budget. Can't recommend going there enough, worth every penny of any expenses!

Most beautiful country in Europe. I went there this autumn for a week to Adelboden and we made a daytrip to the Oeschinensee. Probably the greatest views I have ever had

The first time I experienced Swiss National Day, I was driving from Zurich to Lugano in 2000, totally unaware of the significance of the date, when fireworks started erupting throughout the valley. It seemed like they lasted for 2 hours. It was one of the most magical experiences of my life.

My wife and I visited Switzerland specifically the Jungfrau region just this week. Although we didnt really hiked as she is 7 mos. pregnant, we were able climb most of these mountains using the various lifts, gondolas, cable cars, etc. Watching your video gives me chills since we consider our Switzerland trip the most memorable one of all the places we have been to. we will definitely be back soon.

Oh wow.. we went to Switzerland in 2019 and spent 14 days hiking that glorious country. Lauterbrennan,murren, wengen, zermatt, grindelwald are the most amazing towns I’ve ever seen.. wonderful video friend

Best Switzerland video ever! First went to Grindelwald in 1977, and have been back a dozen trips (from the US). You are blessed to have parents taking you all your childhood and youth years hiking. Your mum looks like she’s fit as a 30 year old, incredible inspiration. Planning to head back this summer and I can’t thank you enough for the timing and commentary of all the spots you hiked and travelled in this video. The Berner Oberland region is the most beautiful place in the world. So many memories seeing this video. I’m thrilled that I subscribed last year to your channel. God bless.

What an incredibly beautiful report of my favorite country too! I thoroughly enjoyed all the known locations. Just like you, I also have my best memories there from my childhood as a child, adolescent and adult. Walking with your mother makes me extra jealous since I no longer have both parents...but I can only be grateful that they planted this 'Switzerland' seed with me!

I used to live in Switzerland in the mid 90s, adored it. Went back in 2019 with my girlfriend, did Grindelwald and Wengen and Schilthorn. Unfortunately most of those were very cloudy or even rainy! Grindelwald kinda cleared up a bit though near the end, like you. We also did the Bachalspee.
Our rest of the path was different but we did also go to Kandersteg to see Oeschinensee, where my girlfriend became my fiancée! 😆
Watching this and seeing the views is making me miss Switzerland so much.
If you get the chance, I'd recommend having a look at Leukerbad and Crans Montana as other possible destinations! - edit 2: lol, you did go to Leukerbad.
edit: I got to the Oeschinensee panoramic shots and I'm almost crying. It's bringing up such emotions.
