Really shameful from Stellantis, when adult protection cannot even reach 80%. In the crash footage, the driver moved too much suggesting that the crumple zone is not as effective as rivals.

Why is this even a question? If their cars don't pass crash test standards, they can't sell them. So the ones you see in showrooms outside China have obviously passed.

Yes, testers buy it as a anonymous customer and then do the test. This way the car brand is more exposed and the test is more realistic

I am a Chinese and I have always been a fan of Volkswagen. I have exchanged two Volkswagen cars, but recently I bought a BYD electric car, and it is really no worse to drive than foreign cars. In the past, the safety of Chinese-made cars was indeed very poor and they were criticized by foreigners. But in recent years, Chinese-made cars have made leaps and bounds in performance in all aspects, including safety.
They also did not include Geely
it was probably the safest one too
they came along way from being a coffin on wheels of yesteryear.
In case u questioning about the Chinese engineering, they will the only one with a Space Station out there in a few yrs
well not when SpaceX Starships are ready, there will be space stations and a moon base in a few years, so the only better cars than the Chinese are probably Teslas

@@GlowBoyGamer I've seen the BYD Seal which looks great and more specially for being an electric car, it has 5 star Euro NCAP, 6 years guarantee and good price tag.

@@sergiostube in the Chinese market at least NIO will sometimes ring you up after downloading the app thinking you’re interesting in buying a car but I think that only happens once after downloading the app because I have still yet to pair my phone key to it yet. The range consumption on the older base model ES6 is not perfect, as it burnt off 20% charge on a 1 hour run from around 98% to 78% with an average speed of 130kmh. The car also depreciates kinda fast, as it was 300k+ RMB new but it only costs like 250k+ RMB now I think.
Reliability I can’t give you a full judgement since it’s in another province right now but I’d reckon it’s not too bad and the overall exterior and interior build quality is holding up nicely, frankly it creaks less inside than on a brand new 2023 GLE our relative has which is around 2 years younger than our NIO

I am sick of the problems with German cars. How much do you spend on fixing problems all the time. Now Chinese offer 10,000 Euro for a SUV. It lasts over three years then you can get a new one.

I like Chinese Ev cars there more cheaper than the American counter part Ev...but that's the worse decision I made in my entire life... I bought BYD dolphin I have problems with the battery failed to start couple of times....I contact the insurance and dealership, this gave me trouble and headache....lesson learned I WILL NEVER BUY CHINESE EV CAR AGAIN....

@@ppautol1508 I'm not saying anything about my country. It's proved that it can't do a shit. However, it's kinda interesting to watch how chinese cars are reliable. The engine, suspension abd of course the body. Every car rots, but some of them may live for more than 40 years in right hands.

When you said "buy ready-made solution", aren't that also applied to traditional fuel car as well ? So with your logic, Chinese traditional fuel car would be as good as EV and yet it dosen't.

Ironic enough there was almost absolutely no Chinese car brands before these days. Also with the ideology of ppl unnecessarily taking anything Chinese as bad, the quality and feel of this Chinese EV's being bad, and the uncertainty of EVs actually taking over ICE in reality in the future. I don't agree in your statement completely although it's a possibility.(I won't like incase it were.)

However, even if Chinese cars in Europe are of good quality, many of these companies are barely 10 years old and have yet to prove their cars to be reliable in the long term. I would prefer to buy a car from older and more well-established brands like Toyota. Maybe more people will consider buying a Chinese car when they have proven themselves, only time can tell.

Only time will tell if these Chinese automobiles can really live up to their name and glory. In a way, I hope they do. However, my own experience with Chinese electronics and harsh reality tells me I'm just dreaming. God helps, I do hope I'm proven to be wrong.
Made in XXX doesn't mean anything in the globalized economy. It's all about quality control. Made in China iphones and bmws have good quality because Apple and bmw care about the quality of their products. Made in China VWs are garbage because VW cares more about profit rather than quality and safety.

Well all cars in NCAP are tested with the same speed. Cant complain.
The reason being even if we are travelling at 100kmph if a normal human being see's a wall we are going to apply breaks and by the time we crash (crash test is not conducted for people sleeping and driving its conducted for the vast majority who are awake while driving) we would be at 30-40kmph. However to balance the kinetic energy the test is conducted at 50kmph
So you expect them to test at 150kmph? Maybe you are not legal to drive then

I have seen several accidents in bee Chinese vehicles. This video is a fraud. The cars crumble like paper, even the 2023 models. Trash and unsafe.
