What is sent for testing is not necessarily the same as the rest of the production run.
Oh and don't be too complacent these are randomly picked in your definition.
The could have been randomly picked from a known set to be selected for testing. That still meets the definition, but does it really? Who's definition? Who's checking and selecting? $$$$ ?
You decide.
better than Japan
Recent Hong Kong media reports. Japanese pharmaceutical Toyota Motor. Daihatsu Motor and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries' tests were all fake.
Since China has been able to mass-produce high-strength steel, the safety of Chinese automobiles has basically ceased to be an issue.
Very safe actually
Made in China is like this
What do mean "this" is about?
Impressive
An even scarier fact: these images happened at least a year ago.
Chinese cars are really tougher than Japanese cars. My dad used to have a Toyota Prado that broke into pieces after a crash.😂
I hope we don’t ban them in Europe :(
Nio is a tank
It is damn strong lol, didn’t even bounce in that overlap hit and stayed firmly on the ground
Made in China is Made in China. The components used in their ecu are not top grades . Chinese products are good only for a couple of years . If you want reliability, look elsewhere. Next, support for parts, warranty will be an issue as the CCP knows nothing about this. The crash test here might look good here but the few vehicles used for the test is specially prepared for this purpose. Once they received certification approval, do you think the car we buy is going to be the same specs as the crashed test piece? We know this as we worked with so many Chinese companies before, they will cheat us even for the slightest things . We have since stopped trading with CCP companies.
@@turbohuang3737 lol, components used in American, European, Japanese cars mostly come from China, do you work in the industry?
i guess most of the thing we used now is made in china...
@@turbohuang3737 and the most important fact and reality is that PRC vehicles have no resale value
@@yslee1401 ICE cars of Chinese brands hold their price just as good as Euro carmakers. The problem is with electric cars, but European electric cars have the same problem. Either you live in a past or you have absolutely no idea of what you're talking about.
Pretendemos que un coche lo haga todo por nosotros cuando lo único que tenemos que hacer es estar atentos y conducir con prudencia. La seguridad en los vehículos no sería tan relevante entonces.
Why didn't they put in a side mobile barrier for the passenger as well for the Chery Omoda 5? How would the passenger be protected if the accident is from the side of the passenger rather than from the side of the driver?
You realize they all have side curtain airbags on both sides right? And which side's airbags go off depends on which side the impact is, if both sides are affected then both sides' airbags will come out.
The chery omoda 5 looks similar to the Hyundai Santa Fe
I can't decide which one of these has the most terrible name
It's like they put an AI to choose western sounding car names.

Welp, see ya later big three. Your days are numbered….
Did you include how they spontaneously burst into flames and airbags dont deploy all the time and how the doors don't open after impacts? There's countless footage out there of this same exact thing happening.
Research more about the models that had those issues and the type of battery they had...

@Youcar & Euro NACP. Question, why are the front seats placed unusually close to the dashboard giving a seemingly unrealistic test scenario for the dummies, notably those in the back which would otherwise collide with the front seats?
Not bad Chinese Cars. I hope Geely will adopt this like more than what people expect them to be. GM and BYD is widely enraged now. Cherry is good but not in a Long Run.
Chinese car is different compare decades ago, quite comparable with western and eastern well known brand, but I urge that not to forget to compare the price as well (before tax).

Doubt that. Volvo sold to geely. So with your logic, only geely car would perform good. Those car in the NCAP test dosen't own by geely and still does quite decent.
много кто выкупает готовые решения и технологии, даже в формуле 1 копируют друг у друга не стесняясь. Перенимать опыт это нормально, гораздо хуже когда совсем застой во всем
@@d.b.q.p.1540 still doubt it. Chinese company are really good at making durable EV but not really when it comes to traditional fuel car.
