I'm just about to turn 54 and LOVE Duran Duran still to this day.... got all their original albums and 12 inch remixes!... So many amazing memories from the 80's with Duran as my soundtrack, I even brought a bass guitar and joined a band because of John and Nick, well just this year I brought a midi keyboard and I'm learning that now he he he - I just wish they'd play the Stadium in Wellington NEW ZEALAND!!! Please guys come and show us some love down here we ALL could use some Duran magic. My thoughts, love and prayers go out to Andy!!! You guys changed and improved so many lives beyond belief, you will never really know the amazing impact you've had on the world

My friends thought I was crazy cause I used to play that song day and night back in its heyday. Like their others, their video to that song is awesome!! I used to try to dance and mimick like them from the video, lol. So many fun memories of them, unfortunately we couldn't afford cable back in the day so I used to always go to my friend's house to watch MTV to see them. I miss those days as a kid. Sounds like you went beyond being a fan and then some, pretty rad dude!!! Closest I got was learning the trumpet back in the day and trying to learn to play Duran Duran songs on a trumpet but it never panned out. Today I use my trumpet for "TAPS" at military funerals and sometimes I have a difficult time trying to just do that with my health slowly declining. But all in all I'll always enjoy my Duran Duran music, takes me back to my old house where I grew up.

Duran Duran is one of the only bands to make it out of the 80's unscathed & still going strong today, if there's one thing we can ascertain for sure, if there is a divine entity out there, it's sure as hell is on the side of Duran Duran

I was twelve when my younger sister and I went to one of their concerts. It was the very first concert either of us had ever been to and my dad bought a ticket so he could accompany us(for safety I guess). Nearly the entire audience was female, a little older or same age as me and everyone, myself included screamed and cried throughout the entire concert. My ears were ringing for nearly a week afterwards but I would do it again in a second. Thanks Simon, Nick, John and Roger for some great times and lovely memories. Always❤❤❤❤

Not their first rodeo. DD has an immense catalogue of groundbreaking videos. They were pioneers. This one is so polished and thought out. Perfect for an aesthetically in tune band like DD.
Totally loving Black Moonlight video! Love the paranormal spooky element of it… the dark side. It’s one thing to still love a band for their brilliant old hits but to continue loving to play and celebrate their new material is pure joy. 🎶❤
Metal fans have always loved Duran. I saw them at the London Arena in April 1989 and I was amazed at how many people were wearing Iron Maiden T shirts.

I enjoy RCM, though. Although Timbaland was producing everyone at the time, at least the record sounds (to me!) like a an actual Duran record, not a ''Timbaland featuring...'' one. That said, my absolute track from that era was ''Cry Baby Cry'', which was only included in the Japanese version of the album.
