Looks like Glitch Productions (SMG4, Meta Runner, Murder Drones), and Vivziepop (Helluva Boss, Hazbin Hotel) have opened the floodgates for independent TH-cam Animation. The future really looks bright, and i am definitely all for a paradigm shift like this, not being tied to companies like Netflix just gives so much more room for the artistic vision to remain pure.

I mean, there was independent animation on TH-cam circa 2008-early 2010s, at least from what I remember (and watched). Maybe not the same long form (or quality of) entertainment.

3:27, I’m guessing it’s more like a hybrid between sunglasses and VR headset or just some kind of eyewear with a HUD in its lens since he’s in a public road. (A detail
I only realized a year later, just now while rewatching this video, is that the purple shape in the lenses blink like eyes).
Also, thank goodness more people are invested enough with this to make videos on the subject.
