- Instructional on loading your Oz Tuning custom tune onto your vehicle with your RTD Interface or MPVI2.

* Save or Save As the attached tune (Example: Oz Tuning - Omega - V1.rtd) to your computer.
* Open your HP Tuners software. NOTE: RTD requires the RTD Flasher software, and the MPVI2 requires the VCM Editor (BETA) version software.
* Open your custom tune file at the location you saved it at.
* Plug up your RTD Interface or MPVI2 securely to your OBDII port, and use the USB cable to hook it up to your laptop. A good internet connection is required.
* Select the “Write Vehicle” icon. You may receive a warning message prompting to license the file at this time, which will require using the included credits. Please do so to continue by selecting the option, "Specific".
* Turn your key to the On position, but DO NOT Start the vehicle. If you have push-button start, press the start button while your foot is OFF the brake pedal. NOTE: Turn off all accessories to prevent battery drain that can interfere with the process. Click on Write in the Vehicle Writer box. NOTE: It will take about 3 minutes to complete.
* Allow the tune to write to the PCM. then follow the prompts to "Turn Ignition OFF. Wait 3 seconds. Turn Ignition on and click OK".
* You will see a Write Completed message. You are safe to close that window and disconnect from vehicle.
when completed writing mines just said write is complete i didn’t get a “cycle key pop nor a hit okay” ?? so what could’ve happened
Same thing happen to me. Tune never loaded. All I did was put on new injectors and cold air intake and now check engine light is on. When I turn it on it just chugs and wants to cut off when I give it gas. Let me know if you know how to fix that problem.
