    • @dramycancerrecovery

      Yes, that is unfortunately a common complaint. It is always best to focus on eating lean protein sources like chicken breast or fish.

      Oops! Commented too soon. 😄 I was taking vital proteins collagen peptides to help with joint aches & pain and it seemed to be helping. Then I heard the info you shared about it possibly encouraging tumor growth & stopped. Glad to hear there is no concrete evidence showing this... for now! Thanks again.

    I feel bad for all those young ladies thrown into menopause. Hot flashes, night sweats, looking at food and gaining weight.
    The cancer team recommemded Orgaine protein powder. Theres quite a lot of sugar, so ive had to not drink that everyday.

    The two protein powders you have linked contain soy

    • @dramycancerrecovery
      @dramycancerrecovery  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s true. There is some soy in a very tiny amount in the one product. The difference here is that it’s not the protein source. That’s not where the the majority of the protein is coming from. We just don’t want it as our main protein source

    Sucralose and artificial flavors in your protein powder for cancer survivors???
    Come on Doc, you got this one wrong.
    You need a more natural powder, and preferably grass fed as well.
    And by the way, the timing as to when you take it doesn’t matter. Just take it. That “magic 2 hour window” has been proven to be BS.
    A lot of your videos are good but this one missed the mark.
