What a Mess!! …Cabin Floor Building Project

- This was hard work, and I am trying the best I can.
The wood floor is long process as I need to sand the boards, stain…let them dry then put a finish on the boards…the let this cure. It’s a slow process but I have been working steady to try to do as much as I can. It’s turning out pretty good as I love the rustic old look of the floor.
I take some time in the very early mornings to enjoy nature as much as I can.

There is a SCIENCE to preparing the materials, scoring the measures and doing the precise cutting of the raw ores (woods, metals and polymers) to fit together into the makings of a housing (house/cabin) to accommodate the vitality of life and variables that occur with weathering, while suiting practical usage. What perfectly fits together in theory may not perfectly fit together in practical applications, journeyed experience.

Hi Lisette. Sorry im late viewing this. That loon on the water was getting the Heck out of there! Such beautiful calls that loons make if you're lucky enough to hear one. We dont have loons where i live but i wish we did. So good to see Nathalie again! To Beautiful ladies carrying a TREE up the stairs!!😊 The new location for the Hibiscus🌺 Tree was very cool! That rascal squirrel still hasn't chewed through your bunji cord, glad to see that! The floor is coming along so well, its beautiful! I love the rustic look too! I didnt know that Moose chewed through tree branches. Whew, thats a LOT of firewood!! I am sure the floor is no easy task. It doesn't make it easier when you got to work with obstacles in the same room, but with a little patience things slowly com together. That was nice to have those extra hands with the plant to get it upstairs. Again, your scenery and the way you capture such beautiful shots. All is looking just fantastic and you are doing it. The solid planks look good. Using screws don't look the best but at least they don't work themselves out and cut your feet when barefoot like nails . You can use a filler to cover but it's a hassle to clean them out if you need to remove in future for any reason. I would have done the same. Good job , well done. I really dig those stairs BTW.

Good morning sunshine, well you box ended back up on my doorstep they told me I didn't black out all the info on the box an they couldn't deliver it that way. I can relate to your hard work as I'm struggling myself in between Sun/Rain days to Sand/Oil Stain/Dry and allow to cure a whole bunch of 16 inch by 26 Ft Long Douglas Fir Timbers for the feature Beams/Roof over my Decks ?
They literally weigh TONS.... and are really awkward to move around/cover by myself even with my excavator/slings etc.
