Next time I have an issue that I cannot figure out, I will reach out to you my viewers !! I know I can count on you all. I am not knowledgeable in mechanics. Thank you everyone for your advice! ❤
I worked on My New or older vehicle's since a Young sixteen yr old almost FIFTY year's ago 😂 thanks for sharing this with us really like the dog's which I'm sure is a lot of work And fun 😊
I am going to wager a guess regarding the truck Lisette, if the 4x4 lock was acting up and you didn't start it for several days, with the parasitic draw on the battery, normal keep alive memory of the onboard devices and it being a 2019 vehicle, with the cooler weather at night, maybe a 15 minute start/idle a couple of times a week when its not being driven will help with the battery draw keeping the top half full as the bottom half. as for the dandy lions, I spent the past two years getting rid of the little buggers in the yard, lol... wonderful vids Lady...
@@jeffcompton6937 just a thought. Years ago a 3 year old battery would be uncommon to fail but unfortunately now a days a failure can happen anytime.. it's true they definitely don't make things like they used to...
Good morning! I am often on my very remote land and have learned (unfortunately through experience) to replace the truck battery every 4 years, even if it is doing fine at that moment. It doesn't matter if the manufacturer says it is a "5, 6 or 7 year battery", they get replaced at 4. When a battery starts to have issues everything else electric on a modern vehicle becomes vulnerable. I hope you have a wonderful day, and as always, thank you SO much for sharing your world with us, your fans!
Absolutely agree on the 4 year rule...can't understand why people roll the dice trying to get another few years out of a battery. There are better ways to save a buck.
Good morning Lisette as a retired auto electric mechanic you might need to install either a battery tender or a solar battery charger because if you don't drive your truck often enough the battery will go dead if the 4 wheel drive has trouble again some auto parts stores will scan your truck for fault codes which you maybe able to fix it yourself since you are a very handy lady. That dresses absolutely beautifully, watching your videos just makes my day so much better ❤❤😘
@@One.woman.wilderness The 4 wheel drive issue was most likely because of a low battery same with all the other electrical issues that popped up on the dash.
Good morning Lisette, I know how frustrating it can be when a vehicle won't start. I hope this isn't to odd for you, This happen to me a few days ago. It took me a couple of days to fix my problem. I know its very important to keep a well charged battery in these newer vehicles because of all of the electronics. It needs to always have 12 volts or more for everything to work well. You can buy a ditigal battery checker at a pretty fair price. Its very simple to use. That way you can check the battery once in a while to see if it needs charged or replaced, Well good morning again, Loved your video, Seeing you in your nature walks is so wonderful. Well Sunday morning is starting off so good for me, Coffee and Lisette is the most exciting thing I have here in Missouri. Bonjour, Lisette! I always enjoy watching your intros to your videos, as you include the surrounding flora and fauna while going about your business outside. Your white dress you have on in your video sure looks nice, and goes well with your boots and hat, love it! The "outhouse" sign is a cool and humorous touch as well. Your truck issues are classic symptoms of a low/defective battery(judging from what the voltmeter in the dash read, and all the other symptoms included). As a retired mechanic with 35+ years in the business, have seen all kinds of different problems that low battery voltage can cause with the vehicle's PCM(powertrain control module)and other functions. 4 years out of a factory battery is pretty good considering all its functions in the vehicle. Do consider a solar powered battery charger to keep your battery alive while parked. I can very well imagine what the cost was, between a tow to the dealership and the service dept's charges for diagnosis. Wish I were closer, could have helped you out of a problem! Sending you, Kimber, & Miss Snow love/hugs, and this week will be better for sure! Merci beaucoup for this wonderful video, and for sharing this with us!😘😎❤🐾
Hi Lisette, you look lovely today. Looks like spring has sprung. Batteries today are strange things, but basically the heart of the entire vehicle. Can be very frustrating to say the least. Have yourself a wonderful week. Take care. 🍷

That's a damn shame, they couldn't have had yoyou charge the battery first, but I guess at least you have it for use again, did look like a fine day too. Thanks for sharing this Lisette have a blessed and spectacular week
Sorry for the car troubles, Lisette. Goes with the territory I guess. Things eventually go wrong with them. Hope you got the four wheel issue solved. On a brighter note, you matched the trillium's and were the loveliest one of all! Hope that brightens your day!
Beautiful photography. You are so talented with this canvas. Vehicle problems are so frustrating. I too am old school and like the older model vehicles that I can work on/fix. Sorry for your frustrations. Hope the rest of your week is wonderful. love bw
Bonjour Lisette. Laurent 😉
batteries are good for about three years, after that long get a new one! Your climate will reduce lifetime of battery. keep a starter pack charged and at close hand. most electronic alerts in modern cars can be because of low power. Sorry that modern cars are so finicky. i too liked the older trucks without all that stuff, and prices are out of my range now!
Beautiful as always Lisette. If you have trouble with the truck again, try disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes and then reconnect. That should reset the computer. Big hugs for you and the dogs❤
Salut Lisette! Oh boy, nothing worse than a problem that “fixes” itself: now not only you don’t really know what happened with your battery but now your trust level has gone down as you may fear it might happen again…I’m not clear though: was the 4x4 issue magically resolved as well or did they had to fix that one? C’est toujours un plaisir de visionner tes vidéos…tellement apaisants et relaxants…Kimber is still going strong…and Miss Snow is so adorable…Love them much, as you never know: one of my Fur Babies has cancer (osteosarcoma). According to the vet, she has few months…we are making everything we can to make sure these will be the best months of her life. Thank you for sharing your wonderful life with us! Bonne semaine chère Lisette 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐈🐴🐴🐐🐐🐐🐐🥰
I'm here first. These newer vehicles have to have a minimum of 12 volts or they won't start because of all the bells and whistles they have on them that pull a lot of juice. I had to jump a van off that had 11.9 volts the other day. You need a battery tender for your truck since you don't drive it much in the winter. They make solar ones l think or get you a battery charger to use with your generator.
Bon jour mon ami, When you were in your truck explaining your frustration, I thought ....she needs a glass of wine ! 🍷 then you said it ! Lol beautiful beginning of the video ,we should all take the time to be that happy . How is your mother doing lissette? Much love from Wisconsin my friend ❤ 💙 enjoy your week .
I am so sorry this happened. I agree love, the old trucks. Have some more dandelion tea and relax. Love the outhouse sign. Thank you for sharing. How is mom? Everyone stay warm, safe, happy and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
Bonjour très belle vidéo , et pas de chance pour votre véhicule j'espère que la réparation sera efficace dans la durée et pour ainsi vous rendre encore beaucoup de service à bientôt pour d'autres aventures
Good Morning Lisette! ... First one today :) I havent watched the video yet... but the truck being removed is never a good sign... :( I'll write more once watched! EDIT: So, I'm sorry that happened and I can relate to the frustration! ...Especially with a relatively new truck with only 74K Km. I would keep an eye on it as things like this can also happen at far more inopportune times. I hope you have a wonderful weekend otherwise and get ready for the heat wave that is approaching us! Thank you again for making Sunday morning fantastic :)
Mama said "there would be days like this!" Glad you got it straightened out. TIP: If they have Interstate Batteries in Canada, they hold up much better during downtime.
Good Morning my Beautiful northern friend. Vehicles can be a pain when they are not working. Hope everthing goes better for you. Have a great rest of your weekend, by the way you always look so beautiful. Enjoy your Sunday.
My dear friend. I am sorry you had issues with your truck, I don't know about the mechanics in your area. but in this country the best mechanics are usually the back street mechanics that are a lot cheaper than the main service centers, I really hope you don't have any more issues. Have a wonderful week and stay safe
Good morning Lisette! Thank you for another great video, it's so lovely there.Glad your foot is better and your truck is ok,so aggravating when they break and are a pain to find the problem.I hope you and your fur babies have an awesome week, keep sparkling Lisette!
Hi Lisette good to see you got the truck fixed I had this problem once also and it was defo the battery that was the problem which causes a lot of warning symbols on the dash display anyway your looking lovely as always and your cabin is looking great take care to you the family and dogs ❤️👍👌🙏
hi again Lisette! it's always good to see you and miss snow and kimber doing well! sorry about the vehicle trouble, that is always a pain! God bless and stay safe!
Beautiful sunsets Lisette, you need to look into a 50’s truck it’ll suit you better and have some nostalgia another nice video and a hello from Las Vegas where I also enjoy the beautiful sun rising over the mountains
Suggest getting a trickle charger. Slow consistent charger to keep your battery topped off. Especially if you do not run it enough. And then the cold will sap the energy.
Vehicles can be a pain in the rear. Everything on the new trucks are electronic control from power steering, parking brake so low voltage effects all of it . Sitting voltage should be over 12 volts and running voltage should be 14.2 volts. I would replace the battery to avoid problems before it gets cold. Good luck to you and enjoy your weekend 😊
This is normal on modern tucks. When the battery gets low it goes into battery saver mode and starts shutting certain systems down so that you can get the vehicle started and get it to where you can get a new battery. Still super frustrating but at least you got your truck back!
Good morning to you!! A hot weekend in Manitoba....will stay cool with another fun episode. Right now it's coffee and oldies on the radio! Cheers from Manitoba!🍻🦬
Hi lisette I’m matt glad you got your truck fixed. Started watching your videos. You are a wonderful woman it’s hypnotic seeing you live and work hard to get away.
Every Day that I get to see your smiling face 🌞🌝 makes me happier than a whole stack of campers, covered in maple syrup and butter😎😜🤓🙄😂😘like pancakes are 😂
A voltage surge from a failing or old battery could affect the Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM). Definitely get a new battery b4 next winter. If it gets stuck in 4 wheel drive again you can reset the TCCM yourself with jumper cables. It takes 10 or so minutes and will likely solve the problem. Eventually you may need a new transfer case actuator should the reset not correct the issue. Rather than bore you with the process, simply Google "reset Silverado TCCM" when you need to. As for the wine: try an old vine zinfandel. Pairs well with truck issues.
A small solar panel battery charger is an excellent idea. I use one on my boat (which is very rarely used), and it keeps the big marine battery full year round. Your truck has many modules that each consume a little power all the time, and eventually will deplete even a good battery.
Good morning sweet lady! Awww, Im so sorry your truck caused you so much grief. 😢 maybe get one of those jump start battery boxes or a charger? Yeah, Im with you on the older vehicles, much easier to get along with! You always amaze me being as elegant as you are in the wilderness❤. Well, things appear to have turned out well in the end. May God smile on you and the girls and calm your soul. Much love and hugs. Chazz- 😉😎🎸🎶🎵☕💞🐕🐕🤯😊
Very good to see that you got your truck under control… Nothing is more frustrating than to go to your vehicle. Try to start it and there’s an issue and it won’t start… checking with your viewing audience is a good idea because you know there are many people that view your videos that have knowledge of how to diagnose an issue with a vehicle that won’t work properly not right now. Give that a try next time and because they are Vehicle‘s made by humans there will be a next time we just don’t know when it is. Thank you for another very nice video …beautiful ,really liked the sunset picture! As always, be safe, stay healthy, and God bless!
A gympy foot and now a botched over car...❤ felt wishes of better things for you... tough times will usually bring better luck, a relaxing tea time is necessary... 💖🙏🙌🙏💖 4 fun🎉
Hi Lisette, as you mentioned; a lot of computers and systems that discharge slowly but steady the battery. Discharged as it was after only 10 days is quite quickly and could point to a worn battery. To keep your battery in optimal shape I would use a trickle charger when you don’t use your car for some time. Easy and gives peace of mind. I’m happy with my “Optimate 4”
Next time I have an issue that I cannot figure out, I will reach out to you my viewers !! I know I can count on you all.

Hi ya Lisette,Kimber and Miss Snow, awesome video, thanks for sharing. Our winter starts in 3 days but it won’t be too cold , we call the Outhouse a Dunny . You take care and stay safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🤩❤️
Hi Barry and thank you 😊 Oh, I like the word Dunny! Enjoy your winter weather 😉 Take care too and enjoy your day ❤
That's a damn shame, they couldn't have had yoyou charge the battery first, but I guess at least you have it for use again, did look like a fine day too. Thanks for sharing this Lisette have a blessed and spectacular week
Happy Sunday Lisette. Loved your video. Glad all is good. Enjoy your day ❤😊
Sorry for the car troubles, Lisette. Goes with the territory I guess. Things eventually go wrong with them. Hope you got the four wheel issue solved. On a brighter note, you matched the trillium's and were the loveliest one of all! Hope that brightens your day!
Always something,
Have a beautiful memorial day weekend.
Much love,
❤Wayne's 🌎. SD. Ca.
Nice rig, but the past 20 years Toyota is all I drive and had very good luck with them❤
It is not very good luck, it is that Toyota is very good car.
Beautiful photography. You are so talented with this canvas. Vehicle problems are so frustrating. I too am old school and like the older model vehicles that I can work on/fix. Sorry for your frustrations. Hope the rest of your week is wonderful. love bw
It's no fun without transportation but you handled it very well your a real trooper 😊
Bonjour Lisette. Laurent 😉
Oh boy...Things break - I have to get a new stove so I feel for you. Hope the rest of your weekend went better/
My grandmother used to make dandelion salad. I love the way you live. Love your life. ❤️
batteries are good for about three years, after that long get a new one! Your climate will reduce lifetime of battery. keep a starter pack charged and at close hand. most electronic alerts in modern cars can be because of low power. Sorry that modern cars are so finicky. i too liked the older trucks without all that stuff, and prices are out of my range now!
Hey dreamgirl , I agree with the old trucks, the electronic era is so frustrating. Thanks for sharing your troubles along with your fun.
Beautiful as always Lisette. If you have trouble with the truck again, try disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes and then reconnect. That should reset the computer. Big hugs for you and the dogs❤
Exactly!! I had a terrible day like Lisette, only to find out how quick and simple it was to reset!! 🤣
I’m glad I know about this now. I should have reached out to my viewers for advice first ❤
Disconnecting the battery will reset some codes. But only if the battery is any good.
This woman dresses so nice.
She is the perfect mannequin.
You got it, you will learn as you go , I have all the confidence in you.
❤❤❤❤❤
I could scream my head of you are AMAZING. And never shall our paths cross ,have to stop watching as you are to upsetting.
Thank you Keith, I will be buying a new battery soon and a charger. My mom is doing pretty good ❤️ Enjoy your week and much love 😊😎🐾
I am so sorry this happened. I agree love, the old trucks. Have some more dandelion tea and relax. Love the outhouse sign. Thank you for sharing. How is mom? Everyone stay warm, safe, happy and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
😘💃🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Your truck had a headache like Mama LOL 😂
Lol!!!
Good morning and enjoy your day ❤
Lovely dress Lisette!❤😊
Absolutely beautiful…excellent videoagrapher…and now that you added the darkages style music…simply wow. Sorry your truck wouldn’t start.
Good morning Timothy. At least it wasn’t anything major, I wish knew more about how to fix them. Have a great day too and take care ❤
My dear friend. I am sorry you had issues with your truck, I don't know about the mechanics in your area. but in this country the best mechanics are usually the back street mechanics that are a lot cheaper than the main service centers, I really hope you don't have any more issues. Have a wonderful week and stay safe
Hi I believe that your battery is no good.. BTW I like the precomputer trucks myself. Thanks for all your videos 😊I appreciate your efforts
Good morning Lisette! Thank you for another great video, it's so lovely there.Glad your foot is better and your truck is ok,so aggravating when they break and are a pain to find the problem.I hope you and your fur babies have an awesome week, keep sparkling Lisette!
Good morning Jim! You’re so welcome! My foot is so much better, thank you ❤
I wish you a wonderful week too my friend. 😊🐾😎🐕🐕
@@One.woman.wilderness Thanks Lisette! xoxo
Tough day Lisette, we have all been there. You cracked me up with the wine comment at the end, love it. My best, William John.
Yes, you deserve some wine Lisette 😊🍷 I'm glad your truck is working again and that there wasn't anything seriously wrong with it 🎉🙏🏼🌺
Beautiful lady beautiful dress Lisette
I know all about car problems I'm just so glad you got all fixed love you keep safe my dear I love your dogs beautiful ❤
Very good and nice and days... 😊❤
Love your channel you're very unique,, there aren't many people who have this, Type of content..
Keep up The good work✌️
Suggest getting a trickle charger. Slow consistent charger to keep your battery topped off. Especially if you do not run it enough. And then the cold will sap the energy.
Until the battery gets low again anyway. That white dress is special BTW. Get a portable power charger. Keep one in my truck 24/7
Vehicle problems are so frustrating! Your cinematography is amazing!
This is normal on modern tucks. When the battery gets low it goes into battery saver mode and starts shutting certain systems down so that you can get the vehicle started and get it to where you can get a new battery. Still super frustrating but at least you got your truck back!
Great video Lisette
Good morning to you!! A hot weekend in Manitoba....will stay cool with another fun episode. Right now it's coffee and oldies on the radio!
Cheers from Manitoba!🍻🦬
Good morning! We will be getting hot weather too. Stay cool as well and have a wonderful day 😊☕️💕
Hi lisette I’m matt glad you got your truck fixed. Started watching your videos. You are a wonderful woman it’s hypnotic seeing you live and work hard to get away.
Every Day that I get to see your smiling face 🌞🌝 makes me happier than a whole stack of campers, covered in maple syrup and butter😎😜🤓🙄😂😘like pancakes are 😂
Leave truck running for half hour Ride I. Left light's on before good luck 🤞 enjoy your journey appreciate it very much Best wishes
I 😊smile every time you upload....THANK YOU 😊
Have a be-you-ti-full day
My birds at home are almost in sync with the birds on your video at 6:25 in TX.
It's weird hearing them sing together
Technology....their answer to everything is UNPLUG IT and plug it back in 😂
A small solar panel battery charger is an excellent idea. I use one on my boat (which is very rarely used), and it keeps the big marine battery full year round. Your truck has many modules that each consume a little power all the time, and eventually will deplete even a good battery.
Completely understand frustration about a vehicle!
Thanks beautiful Lisette. Always enjoying your videos.
Je suis tout à fait d’accord
Good morning Lisette! Many kisses from Sicily☀😎🍀 SNOW AND KIMBER😘😘🐶🐶❤💙
