- I love cooking! I was hungry for wild deer meat, so I decided I would create a hearty dish. Deer meat is high in protein, great source or iron, zinc and B-Vitamins.
I also make this dish using beef.

And also how you're not afraid to show you like meat (people are getting so overly sensitive about this which is just dumb) especially for some one like me who has been on the carnivore diet for over a year and realize how much better we will feel when we eat the way that has helped us evolve so much over the last million years. There is a reason that the increased level of processed foods over the last decades are now being link to the rising levels of mental heath issues in the world.

@@wesmcgee1648 Same here I didn't realize how broken I really was both physically and mentally until a few weeks into the diet. It does get a bit boring but I will never go back to a "Standard American diet".
Had deer today. Back straps with a mushroom gravy. Here in Germany I can buy it from the local hunters. I like supporting my local farmers and hunters for food. It keeps the community strong.

John Bahnsen I enjoyed reading your comment I related to what you said when you made the comment of owning your own soul. That is the reason I live my life in the country on a lake of by my self, I believe in having the feeling of feeling free, not controlled. You are responsible for everything, that is the choice we make, its OK, we can handle it. If something comes up that is difficult we are in a relaxed frame of mind that it makes it much easier to handle. I have to feel free, enjoy freedom, I am not a controller, I won't be controlled, we were not meant to be controlled. Sometimes people think when you live alone you get lonely, bored, depressed, it is completely the opposite of having these feelings, the reason being we made that choice to live alone, I am completely happy, never feel alone, let me tell you it is the most wonderful pleasant, enjoyable, fulfilling feeling living with nature you can ever wish for, it is complete serenity, you surrender enjoy, your grateful. That is the reason I liked your comment is when another person gets it, understands , it touches your soul !!!.

When you are living with, surrounded by all of the things in nature that bring you complete happiness in you life, contentment, freedom, your life is void of any discomfort, or negative thoughts, everything to be grateful, thankful for, you feel the closeness of our creator, that is what he wants us to feel the closeness, it makes us a better person because of it.

@@One.woman.wilderness Sounds great . Cooking with wood gives the food just great texture. My uncle used to have a wood cook stove and he cooked homemade biscuits and gravy. Lisette can you make your own biscuits? Love those . Fried chicken is also great cooked from wood heat. I really love the life you live and sharing it with folks that really care.. ❤️

My kind of morning, House still dark and quiet, fire, coffee. Ahhhhh. I still have three step children at home, I’m so thankful they sleep in on the weekends. I love how you thicken the sauce with the flour and water mix. We used to do that in the Royal Navy when I was a chef in it. We rarely had cornflour or arrowroot
