I just recently bought that coco kind moisturizer and I LOVE it! It feels like a high end moisturizer to me. I use it at night especially when I'm using retinol. It doesn't break me out or irritate my sensitive skin which is a win for me 💯

I don’t like being negative in comments but I have to say I don’t think Casetify is worth the hype. Their prices have gone way up from when I bought the two cases that I have and within two years, one of them broke and the other one started chipping so bad I had to take it off. It was sad too because it was a really pretty jaguar print and the one that broke was kinda my fault cuz I was trying to clean it but it should have been more sturdy imo, like I wasn’t being that rough with it. It was just a disappointing experience for me and more so to see how much their basic designs have increased in price, and the collab with TWICE being like $70 for a phone case. I’m not saying Casetify is a scam, maybe I just had bad luck, but their sponsorships definitely make me feel more icky than they did in the past.
I totally agree with you. They are way overpriced. The designs on them don’t last. And I think the influencers that promote them love them because they get to pick out quite a few at a time so they change theirs more than the average person and they are unable to see the normal wear and tear. If I’m paying $50-$90 (yes y’all you read that right) I want it to last at least a year.

I agree too. I bought a casetify on JB’s recommendation and code. The only time my screen broke was with that Casetify case. It left more of my phone exposed (yes, was right size for my phone). I went back to using Speck and have never had an issue. I cannot recommend casetify but glad it works for you, JB!
@@je_suis_calme_13 honestly the only time I dropped my phone from a significant height was a little while before I got my cases and it was fine lol. I do have the screen protector I got from Casetify and it’s still going strong. The impact cases with the bumpers on the corners are a little bulky so I ended up getting a pretty cheap one from Walmart that’s definitely not going to chip or break and it’s not bulky and uncomfortable to hold

I was just let down because the pictures on the website looked stunning but irl they were a little blurry looking and a lot more textured than I expected. It would be better if there was some clear layer over the design though, like at least try to make it more durable for these prices
For moisturizers, a check in would be more helpful. I know products can look different during application, but I want to know if they perform similarly after a full day or the morning after! For those of us with oily or combo sin, the dew is not a deal breaker ❤️

The Tatcha water cream (in the blue bottle) is amazing for combo skin. I get what you're saying about all day performance but I think the point was to compare the two products to each other. I use the Tatcha cream and would love a cheaper alternative but seeing the difference in how they apply and wear lets me know that the cocokind isn't going to cut it as a dupe for me.
I also didn’t get the hype around the Kosas concealer until I was postpartum and quickly getting ready. Started using the concealer as my only base product (concealer and foundation) and wow wow wow it is beautiful that way. Basically just wore the kosas concealer, cream bronzer and kosas cloud set to make myself feel alive during those early, blurry days. Highly recommend you try it all over the face - it’s gorg! Love your videos, girl!
The NYX concealer is my favourite concealer that I’ve tried in a long time. The thin formula is right up my alley. I’ve heard amazing things about the new Natasha Denona one, but I have no business adding another concealer to my collection right now😅
If you like that SPF, you should try Holifrog’s new one called Solar. It’s got a peach tone and is sooooo light. It has a matte/satin finish. I always recommend that to people in place of the Kosas one, it has 2 fl oz at $36, versus the 1.4 fl oz(ish) for $40.
I think skincare dupes need to have similar ingredients vs how makeup can have similar shades or texture (think foil/shimmer shadows). In comparing the Tatcha inci list to the Cocokind, there are only 3 ingredients that are the same (glycerin, squalane, and butylene glycol). Those 3 ingredients are in SO many creams/ moisturizers. I feel like this is a good example of how packaging make us think dupe of the high-end even though that’s really where the similarities are. (Just fyi, the Tatcha dewy skin cream does have fragrance.)
Hero Cosmetics is one of my faves for the pimple patch and acne treatment If you look at their clear collective line, they really great ingredients. I also love their other sunscreen - it is green tinted to provide some sheer help with redness but it blend in like a dream! Hero products are so easy and approachable, which is why I love them. People calling everything under the sun a dupe for something else is getting old. Double Wear is a cult classic foundation for a couple of reasons: 1. The inclusive shade range 2. The longevity Catrice has neither of those things. The finish isn’t even the same. Why not save up for the product you really want instead of buying 5 different products in an attempt to dupe it? I’ve actually managed to save more money and cut down on clutter this way.

🍉🍉🍉🍉 In my opinion, there is no dupe for Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I have extremely oily skin and live in the South with high heat and humidity. If I use ELDW, I don't need an oil controlling primer or setting spray or even powder...best foundation ever!!! I agree the NYX concealer is fantastic...even on my 66 yr. old wrinkly undereyes!
I have got to try the ELDW then bc it is HOT here in Louisiana. Agree on the Nyx I am 26 but had given up finding a concealer that would look good under my eyes. Its so pretty! I can even wear it with no other makeup ❤
I'm a diehard EL DW fan and have been using it for decades. However, my favorite way to wear it is mixed with that Catrice foundation. I don't like the Catrice by itself, it's a little too thin and dewy for my combo skin. But mixed with the EL DW, it's gorgeous! I think we wear the same shade inthe EL (Ecru) and Catrice shade 010 Cool Cashmere is very close.

I agree; it's SO good! I've never tried anything like it. I love the scent, too. I buy mine when Sephora has their seasonal sales and in the jumbo size. A little bit goes a long way so the jar lasts me a really long time.
I have to say that the blonde highlights really work for you! Changing a hair color is always so intimidating for me. And I’ve never know what will work for my skin tone, etc. But the blonde highlights on you really brighten your face! You look so youthful and fresh! Just beautiful!
I have so many thoughts about the moisturizer comparison. First of all, I think some rando on the clock app probably saw the similar color of packaging and that it had the word moisturizer in it and thought. 🤪You guyssssss I found a dupe🤦🏻♀️ when in reality it looks like Cocokind just does muted pastel color packaging on quite a few of their products. The ingredients aren’t the same. And the only way to tell if they were a dupe would be to test it as a daily moisturizer for a couple months. It’s just crazy to me that people don’t even have to really prove things and people just believe it all. I’m thankful for you Jess for trying this one out and saving people money. Love seeing someone talk about Cocokind! They’re a fantastic Asian/female-owned business, and they just announced that they’re going to be stocked in all Ulta stores now! They have amazing customer service, and they actually care about consumer feedback. They’re one of the most transparent brands I’ve come across, and they’ve even changed a few aspects about products due to customer concerns. Definitely worth checking out their other skincare!

Have you tried the Clio Kill Lash mascara? It is my new absolute favotite! Acts like a tubing mascara, no flaking, doesn't come off until I take it off and removes with warm water.
I always heard people talk about castify. And the cases are really cute so when i got a new phone i bought a castify case. In less than a year almost the whole design had scratched off and the edge of the case has separated from the back. I believe it had a 6mo warranty. But for $70 i want a case that will last a year. It did protect my phone! No issues there. I just wonder if i got a bad one or what.
I’ll stick with speck. I’ve dropped my phone multiple times for multiple years. Ok the clear doesn’t stay clear but my phone is 100% safe. I’ve had my phone for years. With the same cover.
I have normal skin that leans dry in winter, and I can still use the Double Wear in Winter if I mix it with a little of the Lauder Futuristic! The DW is imperative on those hot, humid days.

I like the Catrice, Revolution side much better. The Revolution blush is definitely nicer looking than the Charlotte Tilbury. I use the NYX Bare With Me serum concealer and have never used powder over it, not even a tiny bit to set it, and I love it! I have never had it settle into fine lines and I am 62! I like it as much with no other makeup as well as with a full face. I usually just apply and blend it with my fingers. If anyone wants to try the Tatcha moisturizer I have gotten a small version of it from Ipsy for $3.50. I must say I am not impressed with it, I actually prefer Elf’s at least in the summer. Can't relate to the Kosas concealer, I love that ishhh and think it's such a beautiful skin like dewy look, that looks so good all over the skin. I also love the NYX concealer and think it's a pretty dang close dupe with their finishes and the way they feel on the skin.
That Catrice foundation is not even CLOSE to double wear! Catrice comes off easily on me, and looks totally different as well. Double Wear is like glue!
Agree! I haven't had EL Double Wear in a few years but last time I had it, it wore beautifully on my combination/dry skin. I kept looking at my skin throughout the day to admire my makeup lol I'm not into that full coverage, long lasting, matte look anymore but if I was, Double Wear would be the 1st foundation I'd buy! I tried Catrice foundation a few months ago and didn't like it at all! It did not last well on me.

One of my favorite TikTokers suggested Bliss vitamin C, daily moisturizer as a dupe. for the tatcha . I did purchase it and well the ingredients aren’t the same, the glow definitely is.
I tried both foundations and I really preferred the Estée Lauder one. The Catrice looks ok at first but it is soooo drying. So if you have dry skin or mature skin , you should avoid it! I love your videos Jessica!

I'm sure if you look into the ingredients of the Cocokind moisturizer, there is hyaluronic acid in it. Most moisturizers have it, just don't always advertiser it. It's been a staple in ingredients for a long time but just became popular in the last few years so people so started advertising it. But I love the dupes videos!!
I am telling you some mini mascaras are different than their full sized counterparts. I’ve been saying this for awhile I love a mini mascara cuz even though I do makeup a lot, it’s next to impossible to go through a full size in 3 months, 4 even. I got a full size of Caliray cuz I liked it that much && it’s still good but all the minis I had were better.
Glad to hear someone else finds the minis better than full size! Though I tried that Tarte tubing mascara in a mini and it was terrible....flaked awful. No other mini has been a problem.
I have noticed this too!! I wonder if the minis are sitting around for a while and/or mass produced, or because of the smaller side they just get to that dried out place sooner

@@chaosbecomesher I forgot about how hard it was to remove until you said that! The Maybelline Sky High was like that too. I don't think it was supposed to be a tubing mascara, but still....I lost some lashes getting it off.
I will forever buy the tatcha dewy skin cream. I have very dry skin and I love that during the summer. in the winter I use the tatcha indigo for even more moisture.

I have to say that the blonde highlights really work for you! Changing a hair color is always so intimidating for me. And I’ve never know what will work for my skin tone, etc. But the blonde highlights on you really brighten your face! You look so youthful and fresh! Just beautiful!
I’d love to see a side by side of the Tatcha dewy cream and the Embryolisse cream. Just for the finish. I feel like they could be comparable.
I have so many thoughts about the moisturizer comparison. First of all, I think some rando on the clock app probably saw the similar color of packaging and that it had the word moisturizer in it and thought. 🤪You guyssssss I found a dupe🤦🏻♀️ when in reality it looks like Cocokind just does muted pastel color packaging on quite a few of their products. The ingredients aren’t the same. And the only way to tell if they were a dupe would be to test it as a daily moisturizer for a couple months. It’s just crazy to me that people don’t even have to really prove things and people just believe it all. I’m thankful for you Jess for trying this one out and saving people money. I mean honestly I’m on such a strict budget but I think I’d prefer to save my money and buy tatcha because I can clearly see how great your skin looks. ❤ Anyhoozen all that to say I don’t trust ding dongs on ⏰⏰
I LOVE both of those concealers! I use the nyx one as more of a light, all over base and the kosas one as an actual concealer
Love seeing someone talk about Cocokind! They’re a fantastic Asian/female-owned business, and they just announced that they’re going to be stocked in all Ulta stores now!
They have amazing customer service, and they actually care about consumer feedback. They’re one of the most transparent brands I’ve come across, and they’ve even changed a few aspects about products due to customer concerns. Definitely worth checking out their other skincare!

Have you tried the Clio Kill Lash mascara? It is my new absolute favotite! Acts like a tubing mascara, no flaking, doesn't come off until I take it off and removes with warm water.

I always heard people talk about castify. And the cases are really cute so when i got a new phone i bought a castify case. In less than a year almost the whole design had scratched off and the edge of the case has separated from the back. I believe it had a 6mo warranty. But for $70 i want a case that will last a year. It did protect my phone! No issues there. I just wonder if i got a bad one or what.

I like the Catrice, Revolution side much better. The Revolution blush is definitely nicer looking than the Charlotte Tilbury. I use the NYX Bare With Me serum concealer and have never used powder over it, not even a tiny bit to set it, and I love it! I have never had it settle into fine lines and I am 62! I like it as much with no other makeup as well as with a full face. I usually just apply and blend it with my fingers. If anyone wants to try the Tatcha moisturizer I have gotten a small version of it from Ipsy for $3.50. I must say I am not impressed with it, I actually prefer Elf’s at least in the summer. Thank you for this video Jess, top notch as usual!!
I got the Tatcha from Ispy too! My skin isn’t dry enough to really appreciate how dewy it is.

Can't relate to the Kosas concealer, I love that ishhh and think it's such a beautiful skin like dewy look, that looks so good all over the skin. I also love the NYX concealer and think it's a pretty dang close dupe with their finishes and the way they feel on the skin.
That Catrice foundation is not even CLOSE to double wear! Catrice comes off easily on me, and looks totally different as well. Double Wear is like glue!

Agree! I haven't had EL Double Wear in a few years but last time I had it, it wore beautifully on my combination/dry skin. I kept looking at my skin throughout the day to admire my makeup lol I'm not into that full coverage, long lasting, matte look anymore but if I was, Double Wear would be the 1st foundation I'd buy! I tried Catrice foundation a few months ago and didn't like it at all! It did not last well on me.

The Colour Pop Pretty Fresh Concealer is more of a dupe to the Kosas Concealer. The coverage and consistency of the product is spot on. The colour pop is only 6 bucks.

I tried both foundations and I really preferred the Estée Lauder one. The Catrice looks ok at first but it is soooo drying. So if you have dry skin or mature skin , you should avoid it! I love your videos Jessica!

I bought the Catrice foundation because of Tatie and finally throw it away during a cleaning day. My now obsession is a Lancôme foundation, I'm afraid the Estee Lauder is too thick at least for my skin. Love your videos !
I'm sure if you look into the ingredients of the Cocokind moisturizer, there is hyaluronic acid in it. Most moisturizers have it, just don't always advertiser it. It's been a staple in ingredients for a long time but just became popular in the last few years so people so started advertising it.

I am telling you some mini mascaras are different than their full sized counterparts. I’ve been saying this for awhile I love a mini mascara cuz even though I do makeup a lot, it’s next to impossible to go through a full size in 3 months, 4 even. I got a full size of Caliray cuz I liked it that much && it’s still good but all the minis I had were better.
Glad to hear someone else finds the minis better than full size! Though I tried that Tarte tubing mascara in a mini and it was terrible....flaked awful. No other mini has been a problem.
I have noticed this too!! I wonder if the minis are sitting around for a while and/or mass produced, or because of the smaller side they just get to that dried out place sooner
@@queenbunnyfoofoo6112 I bought the tartelette tubing mascara full size right when it came out at ulta... it went on beautifully, but flaked EVERYWHERE within 15 minutes, and still somehow was so difficult to remove (warm water didn't work, and neither did 3 different removers/soap afterward) I managed to lose like 20 eyelashes in the process of trying.
@@chaosbecomesher I forgot about how hard it was to remove until you said that! The Maybelline Sky High was like that too. I don't think it was supposed to be a tubing mascara, but still....I lost some lashes getting it off.
I will forever buy the tatcha dewy skin cream. I have very dry skin and I love that during the summer. in the winter I use the tatcha indigo for even more moisture.
