It didn’t look terrible but I don’t think I’d recommend for most people. If you have oily eyelids, this will NOT work for you! mascara - very natural looking volume. no flaking or smudging, and the curl lasted to the end of the day! loose powder - definitely looked a *little* powdery in natural light. I used to use that cream Revlon palette some years ago for work. I wanted something subtle because some nude palettes are too pigmented that I ended up with a Smokey ey just because I wanted to add some definí in the outer crease. I would look like I deepened it too much so this palette was almost like I had nothing on but it definitely looked better than not having anything on. Only subtle makeup was allowed at my job so this actually worked out.
I’m originally from New York and have been living in Hawaii for 10 years. We’re moving back to my husband’s hometown in Michigan and he’s so confused as to why I’m so freaking excited to go to Meijer. Your channel has created so much hype for me 😂
Omg I was there this summer and went to the store, this one location was sooo big! The employee they said it was one of the first 4 to open. I'm like why aren't they in New York?!
That revlon cream shadow quadd was something i owned 20 years ago. 😂 gosh i cant believe theyre still selling it. Gotta say tho, i really loved the ease of application of the shadows, as compared to the drugstore powder shadows we had back then. They were super chalky so these creams were just 👌🏻 for me.
Hi Jessica 😊 In one of your recent videos you mentioned the CEO of RMS beauty. I just watched a really good podcast that she was on. She gave so many interesting tips and talked about the story behind her makeup. I would love to see you do a full face of RMS using some of the tips mentioned in that video. Also, RMS have this new set called the Clean and Bright set which looks so pretty! (The TH-cam channel the video was on was ‘Art Beauty Podcast’ and the name of the video was ‘RMS Beauty: Tips to Master Your Makeup Like a Pro Artist’. Love your videos, you’re my favourite TH-camr! ❤️
I got the Revlon shadows specially for my junior prom (2004, so they have been around for a long time) and LOVED them. Looking back, they were not very good and creased like crazy, but I wore it all the time. I sometimes think about trying them again but I think I'd rather just have the good memories.
I have been watching your videos for a long time and I always like to think about what makes someone so likeable and calming to me. Then I remembered you used to be a teacher. Something about hearing a teacher talk is very soothing to me! Were the same age but for some reason you give me big sister vibes. I don't have one so maybe that's why its comforting to watch!
Every time people say tricks and tips now I get the giggles from the episode of schits creek when Moira got send the MML package and she and David watched the ‘tips and tricks’ video 🤣🤣🤣
One thing to remember about CoverGirl is that it has the same parent company as Olay (thus all the crossover products). If this ends up being budget Olay… not a bad thing.
Omg....the Revlon cream quads!! I used these every day for like 6 or 7 years. I repurchased recently and they're my go-to if I am pressed for time and need to look presentable at warp speed. They wear away gracefully on me.
It was only when I had my makeup done for my wedding, 6 years ago, that the makeup artist taught me to trim my brows. It absolutely blew my mind as well. And it's weird because, by tweezing you would get the shape you want but then your eyebrows would be thinner than you wanted. So it felt like you were sacrificing one fullness for the shape. Trimming actually makes my eyebrows look fuller. Been doing it ever since.
I use the cover girl yellow one in the pump. I think it’s the gel one u were talking about. I have dry skin so I use my regular moisturizer and then use that over my sunscreen. I love the combo and it gives me a really pretty glow. It brightens and glows.
Yes! Jess! When I was a teen, before brow gels existed, I would put hairspray on an old toothbrush and tame my brows. Sometimes. I'd use clear mascara! Now, if I'm in a pinch, I still reach for my Rave 4 Hairspray! 😆 🤣 😂
I have the hydrating water cream covergirl moisturizer and I LOVE it. My skin feels so plump in the mornings after putting it on in the night. I will for sure repurchase!
I absolutely remember that eyeshadow! I worked at Walgreens from 2005-2008 in the cosmetics department and I’m shocked by how many products are still being sold.
Yes, I remember the Revlon color lights eyeshadow cremes. I had the neutral brown/ beige tone one and the pink/mauves tone one. They were very nice and shimmery going on and for about two hours, then they really creased and got cakey. But honestly, I still really liked them. It still looked nice on my eyelids. But I was about ten years younger then. I bought mine back then at Big Lots. I actually might still have one in my makeup drawer. I had one in the purple/lilac/gray shades too. It's nice to see them back on the market. A blast from the past !!! 😁😳🌞
I had those creams in the pallet in college- (2005!) my baby cousin went into my stuff and dug them all out with his fingers 😂 Such a mess- but a fun memory to unlock.
Im shocked to hear how old the eyeshadow quad is!? I just bought it a few months ago and assumed it was new, and i love it!!!! I apply it with a very tiny brush and its amazing!! I use ELF matte primer first.
OMG the revlon cream shadow palette was one of my very first makeup products back in high school! Had the exact color way you used too. I used to love them! Agreed they’re not great for oily lids though. ❤
when i first got my falsies surreal mascara i was hella disappointed as it wasn’t ✨giving✨ but after a couple of weeks i’m seeing it improve immensely. super long, wispy, separated, pretty lashes. not my all-time fav maybelline mascara but definitely a good one. also for strong-hold brow gels i’d recommends the essence fix it like a boss clear brow gel and the schwartzkopf got2b glued.
Love a good Jess majeup review! My mom used those revlon cream shadows for years! I buy her eyeshadow, but she alwats goes back to her revlon cream shadows 😆. ~Emily 💗
OMG I used to use that revlon eyeshadow everyday when I was in college which was like over 10 years ago! I need to pick it up again the next time I’m in Walmart.
When I was little I’d sit on the bathroom counter and watch my mom do her makeup. She used a soft bristle toothbrush for her brows, and she’d lightly mist it with hairspray before setting her brows in place. She also used to separate her lashes with a safety pin! 😂😳
I did the safety pin and I also used to hold a lighter to my Maybelline eyeliner pencil to soften it to a gel like consistency. Im 63 and have been wearing make up since 1971 😮
I have almost no brows at all having been thru three thin eyebrow fads ( I'm old ) I still have to trim thie five eyebrow hairs I have left because they're too long 🤦♀️😂
Jess, I always love your International Sign for Mascara That Curls . . adorable. Never fails to make me smile -- as soon as you start talking about mascara, I wait for the Hand Sign for decent mascara. :). XOXO!

Oh dear Jess! I’ve been home with a stomach bug the past two days and you have helped me get through it. I’ve had you playing on TH-cam all day! Let’s just say I’m ready for this year’s Vlogmas, as I’ve already celebrated the past few years with you over the last 48 hours!!🤣 I recently purchased Allie Glines makeup bag sets for my daughters this Christmas and am filling them with products you have recommended. I’m adding some Disney treasures as well! Sigma recently released a Beauty and the Beast collection. Girl! Those shades speak to me. Vibrant and warm tones that would look gorgeous this holiday season. One of my daughters loves Haus labs, so that concealer will be a must have! Did you ever do your drawing for gift cards? I may have missed it. I’m in the holiday spirit and have 1/2 my shopping complete! Determined to get it done early, as my cousin just started chemo and I am going to help with her shopping this year. 💗 I just told her about you today and suggested she watch your videos as a daily pick me up. She just turned 40 and has 4 children. They all LOVE Disney!!! I’ve ordered a bunch of Disney paraphernalia in hopes of bringing Disney to her. 💗 You have brought me such joy and helped me find myself and discover that I am important and it’s ok to do things for myself. I pray she can find that as well by watching you. You are such a gem, dear Jessie. How I’d love to meet you. Hugs to you and your precious family!! Love you! XOXO Susan in Maryland
Omg THAT EXACT Revlon quad….when my bestie and I had sleepovers during freshman year of highschool, that’s what she would bring over and I thought she was the coolest. 😂
I definitely think that the powder darkened your face and under eye a bit. I LOVE my Milani make it last setting spray. I have a lot of make up, and honestly I don’t do it often (I work virtually from home) but when I do my makeup, you better believe I don’t go without my milani setting spray! It makes such a difference in making my makeup up last allll day. The lip looks so good! I don’t often wear a red lipstick tbh, I think I only own two. Most days it’s just a little too bold for me
I have those revlon cream shadows in the blue/green palette! I literally had to leave it open to dry out forever to be able to use it to where it would stay on- they are so creamy and dont stay on otherwise. So funny and weird that they still make them! 😂👍🧡
Those illuminance creme palettes are no joke. My favorites for years have been Precious Metals & Moonlit Jewels, but they're all so pretty. They have a perfect wash of color whose color stories are practically flattering on anyone & blend like a dream. Particularly when using your fingers, as brushes would absorb too much & leave barely a trace on the skin. They do last longer on drier eyelids too, so that's a bonus. Plus they allow for getting ready in a pinch. For instance, if you're short on time or going from one place to the next & need a quick fix, like after work, the gym or appointments where you have to reapply makeup. Keep them in your bag for touch ups or if in a hurry (literal balms to the metaphorical soul, as these feel phenomenal when waking up bleary eyed, after being in an ill state or dealing with hangover side effects). You can even use them as sheer highlighters & on the lips to create subtle depth. They're great for those starting out with makeup, including experimentation with color placement without dealing with too much pigment & as a base for corresponding powder colors. Lastly, I'm seeing current brands who promote efficient simplicity with minimalist single 'color at a time' washes at higher price points, like Glossier, Merit & Kyer Weis, but at under 10 dollars (and most likely having influenced those other brands in creating similar products), and in multiple colors (though Hourglass & Charlottle Tilbury does this too, just not at lower price points) with one product, it's great for test running that practicality & seeing if it works for one's individual needs.
Hi Jessica! Long time fan and viewer here ❤ I know this might be a non issue but I’m usually watching these videos in the background at work and would LOVE IT if you would go back to putting wear notes in the video itself with that little sound notification so I can look up and read it😩 by the end of the video I’ll forget to check the description box or honestly I get lazy lol love ya!
That red lip looks so incredible on you! It’s perfect for Christmas time. How did the powder wear throughout the day? Do you think it would accentuate any fine lines? It looks so beautiful and flawless on camera. Thank you ! ❤
You just brought me back to high school!! The revlon cream shadows! Saved up my money to get it and they were always out of stock. Loved that palatte! Do you remember when hard candy was sold at sephora?

Jess, where did you get your hair clips??
I think a whole video of “they still sell this!!?!?!?” Would be fun 😂
Totally!
Yes!
Great idea
Fun!
That’s a great idea!
Hi Jess. Have you consider doing a make up video out of your comfort zone? Like maybe Smokey eye shadow look? Something different. Just an idea :) )
I used to use that cream Revlon palette some years ago for work. She did something a few months ago and didn’t do a Smokey look but she did use a purple eyeshadow which was out of her comfort zone
Yes!!!! This

For DRY skin, try: Cerave skin renewing night cream. It's the only thing I use during winter months. It's a thicker moisturizer.
Yes, I agree!
I am on my 3rd little tub of it, and I really love it! It is really hydrating without feeling greasy.

Okay, but how do you look more and more gorgeous within every new video? ❤

Heyy Jessica & Fellow Y’all Squad ☺️😜
I am OBSESSED with that mascara. My favorite for sure right now. It builds so well and lasts all day without flaking or smudging.
Yep! It's definitely a current fave of mine too!
So happy for a new Jessica video!!!
Yes! Jess!
When I was a teen, before brow gels existed, I would put hairspray on an old toothbrush and tame my brows. Sometimes. I'd use clear mascara! Now, if I'm in a pinch, I still reach for my Rave 4 Hairspray! 😆 🤣 😂
Hairspray on a toothbrush is actually such a good little hack! 😄
I have the hydrating water cream covergirl moisturizer and I LOVE it. My skin feels so plump in the mornings after putting it on in the night. I will for sure repurchase!
I LOVE the new Revlon line!!! It’s SUPERB!!!!
I absolutely remember that eyeshadow! I worked at Walgreens from 2005-2008 in the cosmetics department and I’m shocked by how many products are still being sold.
The red lippy looked so nice with that top. A great everyday look.
Jessica, I love your top! Any link available? Cheers from central FL!

That red is definitely a keeper for you!! Perfect blue red shade it makes your teeth look white white!!
OMG the revlon cream shadow palette was one of my very first makeup products back in high school! Had the exact color way you used too. I used to love them! Agreed they’re not great for oily lids though. ❤
Hi Jess!! Hope you’re having a good day! I always get excited when you upload a new video 😊 do you have a link for your shirt? So pretty! ❤
Ok, the makeup is great, but where can we get that top that you're wearing?!?! It's gorgeous and looks fabulous on you!! 🩷
when i first got my falsies surreal mascara i was hella disappointed as it wasn’t ✨giving✨ but after a couple of weeks i’m seeing it improve immensely. super long, wispy, separated, pretty lashes. not my all-time fav maybelline mascara but definitely a good one. also for strong-hold brow gels i’d recommends the essence fix it like a boss clear brow gel and the schwartzkopf got2b glued.
That revlon quad was my first eyeshadow about 15 years ago! 😂 also used hairspray to hold my brows then 😂😂
This is the first time I have heard of trimming your eyebrows! Who would’ve thought!
SAME!!
I really liked the lip oil. It totally smoothed out your lips and seemed to give some color. Very flattering!!
When I was little I’d sit on the bathroom counter and watch my mom do her makeup. She used a soft bristle toothbrush for her brows, and she’d lightly mist it with hairspray before setting her brows in place. She also used to separate her lashes with a safety pin! 😂😳
My mom did both of those things too!!
I did the safety pin and I also used to hold a lighter to my Maybelline eyeliner pencil to soften it to a gel like consistency. Im 63 and have been wearing make up since 1971 😮
I have almost no brows at all having been thru three thin eyebrow fads ( I'm old ) I still have to trim thie five eyebrow hairs I have left because they're too long 🤦♀️😂
My mom did that too!
I had a relative that used a safety pin on her lashes too! It always scared me😅
Jess, I always love your International Sign for Mascara That Curls . . adorable. Never fails to make me smile -- as soon as you start talking about mascara, I wait for the Hand Sign for decent mascara. :). XOXO!
Totally unrelated to this video, but I hope that you’re enjoying your Bible study! I wanted to recommend something that I thought you’d enjoy. I love the elf skincare line
I’m been scanning the comments and caption for info on your top. I’m so sorry if I missed it but really want to know ! It’s lovely
7:33 LOLing!😂 That was hilarious!
The hairspray for eyebrows cracks me up because when I was little, my mom would spray a spoolie and run it through her brows!
Oh but your top! It’s so beautiful and I need it 😌
I got flashbacks when you showed the Revlon cream shadow. Definitely had that back in the day!
Not me scouring your video comments and description for deets on that BEAUTIFUL shirt! Love it, you look gorgeous ❤
The perfect person/video for waiting in the school pick up line.🙌🏻✨
I remember those cream Revlon palettes from my jr. High school days! They are great for finger painting and giving nice shimmery impact, but they crease pretty badly. That's the tradeoff with old-school drugstore makeup. But fun to play with!
Ah, makes me want to declutter some more! 🌟🌟🌟 I've been thinking about the vitamin, maybe need to look into! Thank you for taking us along Jess! ❤
Ok the Revlon eye shadow took me BACK. I remember my sister buying that to wear to her senior prom and she graduated in 2003 🤯
Hey Jesse, do a fall makeup drugstore look please. Love your look, and need true spiced look.
Relvon has individual cream shadows i have a few Carmel is my favorite!

Are you feeling better today?
@@angelablack7946 you are too sweet. Quite a bit better. Plan on going back to teaching tomorrow, as long as I sleep well tonight. Thank you!
@@angelablack7946 thank you for asking! Not completely myself, but much better. Was able to go back teaching. Now I’m worn out!
I have been watching old Vlogmas videos, too! They really lift my spirits. Hope you are feeling much better since your original post. ❤
That Revlon eye palette has been around since before 2000. It is good for people new to eye shadow. Hard to overdo it. Thanks for this helpful video.
Omg THAT EXACT Revlon quad….when my bestie and I had sleepovers during freshman year of highschool, that’s what she would bring over and I thought she was the coolest. 😂
My favorite holiday red is the Fenty liquid lip in the red Rhi wore at the super bowl. I freaking love it!
I use that cream palette every day! Good for corporate looks.
I absolutely remember that quad from revlon. One of my first makeup items! I had one color way that I used the gold everyday. Crazy to see u use!
I loved the idea of Revlon cream shadows but they weren't deep enough for my tan skin
omg I never been so early ❤. ..love so much ....I feel like you're my friend, mom like me .. smart and funny..Love from Yemen ❤
I always go straight for the drugstore makeup.😊
That light shimmer in that quad is my all time fave as far as color as a single shadow. I keep trying to match that in a different formula.
I've used the Revlon eyeshadows in Orchid!! Lol I had a large palette and really liked it too.
I’ve had the mascara for about a month. I feel like it just gets better with time 😊😊
I looooove your top! 😍 another fab video 😍
I loved the red lip! So pretty!
oh yes yes!! i'm excited to see you review all this new release :)
Hiiiii!!!! Where is that shirt from?!?!
I actually use this Revlon pallette with my concealer and it looks amazing! I have to use a really small brush but it covers really well!
That red lip makes your teeth look so white. So pretty!
Yay!!! New Jessie video!!! 🥰♥️😍
I just used that Revlon cream shadow this morning. It’s ideal for simple, quick out the door work makeup.
I got a casetify case, last night, with your code! Thanks for the savings! 😘
Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner is my fav eyeliner in black/brown and the pencil 🤍🤍 🤍
Totally remember the quad eyeshadow, also recall it being meh. Kept it in my car/on the go makeup bag

I use the Milani setting spray, as well! My makeup doesn’t budge all day.
When you pulled out that Revlon cream quad I was instantly taken back to first year university!
I have those revlon cream shadows in the blue/green palette! I literally had to leave it open to dry out forever to be able to use it to where it would stay on- they are so creamy and dont stay on otherwise. So funny and weird that they still make them! 😂👍🧡
I wore that eye palette on my wedding day 😂
When I go to visit my brother in Oregon (I live in the UK) I always insist we go to Fred Meyers, it's a wonderland!!
So excited for this!!
Hairspray for brows…like 25 years ago I had an old kids toothbrush & would spray hairspray on it to smooth my brows. It worked
Omg, can't wait to try some of these products, thank you!! Btw, loving that nail color, so gorgeous!
The GASP I let out when you held up the Revlon cream shadows. I completely forgot about those! The chokehold those had on me in middle school 😂
Hey Jess I loved the video!! I bought that falsies mascara last week and I love it. You described it perfectly. Keep the awesome content coming!!❤
I love that revlon powder! It’s been my favorite for this Texas weather
Girl, believe it or not, that eye shadow looks really good on you.
Wow with the Revlon shadows you took me back to when I turn 15 and was allowed to wear makeup. I’m now 34 so way down memory lane.
Meijer is my fave grocery store!! Midwest girls get it 🎉 I’m pretty sure that Revlon quad was my first eyeshadow palette! Mine was purple. So bad!
Maybelline Superstay Liquid Lipstick in “Dancer” is another great, blue-toned holiday red!!💋
On the topic of cover girl and the clean fresh products, I love the skin milk! Its a great everyday, light coverage foundation and it's like $10-11
Not me rewinding the video because I missed the noise and wanted to hear it 😂 don't lie Jessica, we know that was you that made the noise 😉😂 x
I have the Revlon cream quad with the purples and I love it for my green eyes.. it' s easier to blend compared to the Maybelline ink stuff
