I’m always looking to save money whenever I can: to me, saving more = ability to buy more (I was NOT a math major 🤣) Usually dupes are better deals, but with cream bronzers, seems to me they can be misleading. I just did a few comparisons based on info from Sephora and Ulta…

Ok, ok, okayyy. Listen, after going back and forth for months about whether or not to try the NARS Laguna bronzer, I ordered it. I just got it in the mail and I must say, your recommendation did not disappoint! The color, the finish, the coverage, how it blends and builds, it’s the best. I like it more than the bronzer’s from Westman Atelier, Nudestix, and Milanil. At the end of the day, it is a $40 bronzer and there are really great less expensive options, but I think this item is worth it!
110% agree on Thrive Mascara and elf knock mascara being the same and working equally as well as the other.
I love the undertone of the Nars Laguna bronzer - that gray undertone works really well on lighter skin, like yours and mine.
Sincerely thank you for just being so honest. I love saving money but use of my hands is limited, so sometimes I need those extra few seconds of hand use and pain. ❤ *editing to add, in the 90’s besides the L’Oreal primer+tubing mascara. We would actually put the tubing mascara on the back of lashes (eye lid side) then immediately the front, it built up so nicely this way and avoided the multi layer issue. A boy in my drama class had a mom who was a beautician and he actually taught me that. ❤

Mixing the Rare Beauty soft Pinch blush with liquid highlighter is the BEST tip ever!!! It makes the most beautiful glow blush color. I have several shades of this blush and a liquid highlighter I got in a subscription box that I did not care for but it works great with the liquid blushes!! Thanks, Jess!! The milani highly rated is a dupe for the thrive. I used to always buy thrive, but I wanted something easier to replace that Ulta or Walgreens would always have. It’s SO good.

Elf came out saying outright their sole purpose now is to dupe high end products and they have actually surpassed many of the products they’ve duped. They are better than the high end and luxury products at a fraction of the price. It is really unbelievable and should be a wake up call for us all as consumers just how much we are getting robbed by beauty brands. We are paying for packaging and the name only, and even the packaging they skimp on. Chanel has the same packaging as Avon for crying out loud. That’s just one example too.😂 We need to wise up as consumers. Also men’s products cost less for the same product. They actually get more product for a lot less in many cases and they’ve coined this scam the pink tax. Ex Rogaine where men get a 3 pack for what we pay for a single product- same price.
I was wildly dumbfounded when I felt how light and crappy the Chanel packaging is. People in reviews hold it like it’s made of gold. Who knew? 😅

The elf pout clout’s are some you need to try. They are a closer dupe to the tarte Maracuja juicy lips. Both in the slight minty tingle and the juicy glossy nature of it.
The nars bronzer is essentially the same price as the milani if you break down the price per ounce, very close! You have finally convinced me I need the bronzer, after all this time!

When I hydrate my skin really well with skincare before applying the Covergirl Essence it feels amazing and seems to last all day even in the Florida humidity! HOWEVER, I feel like every skin tint/foundation lasting is also based on what sunscreen you use underneath as well. I mix the Covergirl with the Australian Gold Botanical Tinted Face Sunscreen SPF 50 for a little more coverage and also lasting power. It's my HG atm!

I agree. I always bought Supergoop glowscreen at a high price and absolutely love it. I can't afford it and tried Elf's Whoa glow sunscreen and eas pleasantly surprised.

I do actually prefer the Nyx slick click because it's not as thick as the tarte however elfs new clicky lip product is almost an exact dupe to the tarte lip plump if anyone is looking for something more similar to that.

I like to layer a tubing mascara over my regular mascara. Added length and volume and no flaking! I use the one by Milani. I also picked up the Milani cream bronzer (& blush) and it’s (they’re) great.
I’m loving those purple nails! I just did mine yesterday and I was on the fence about pastel purple. Wish I would’ve just done it bc those look great

That Elf mascara is really nice....wears well and removes easily. Finally Elf has a product not made in China ( the mascara is made in Germany).

The elf blush reminds me more of the Saie dew blush. Some of the colors are exact shade and finish dupes.
When you were trying on the different glasses, the first 3 looked really good on you (not that the other looked bad) but those were the best.

Charlotte tilbury contour wand dupe!!! I bought anglicolor contour stick off Amazon for 7.00. I have used it for one week. It is a very good dupe for CT!! Exact same component. Highly recommend.
Ulta brand has a great tubing mascara!! I would recommend it especially with the primer

I love using my cvs coupons for the higher priced makeup products. And i don't feel the need to hide my shipping from anyone bc the box says cvs 😂 I've bought the covergirl foundation but haven't had a chance to use it. Had a few things going on where I had to leave quickly and forget to pack it. Also, makeup wasn't on my mind, except for your videos of course! Im hesitant to buy any more kosas products bc of them going bad so quickly. Please let us know if it goes bad fast. Thank you for all your beauty research!

Both sides are similar in look, appearance and shading. I believe the high end side looks slightly more blended and less patchy, the NARS bronzer looks more natural on your skin tone. The mascara is not my preference type. Overall, there is not a big enough difference in appearance to warrant paying the higher price tag with the exception of the bronzer. Love these types of videos.

I have the Chanel tint (there are 2 a water tint and a foundation) the CG is dupe for the higher coverage not the water tint. they’re literally identical. I own all 3 and you could not tell a difference.

I’m curious about the ELF Pout Clout lip might be a dupe for the Tarte one. I do love the Tarte ones but I haven’t seen the ELF one yet to try it.
Have you tried the Ulta brand eyeshadow, I tried one for a brow highlight, preferred it over the Mac one I was using, very surprised, but that was just a highlight brow, so not sure how the lid shadows apply, curious to see the other shadows if they are just as pigmented

There is a version of the Tarte juicy lip without the minty plumping aspect, but they are just as juicy and moisturizing.
How does that Milani crème bronzer compare to the Revolution crème bronzer?
I ❤ the Milani bronzer! I choose it over the CT bronzer almost 100% of the time & I hated the NARS bronzer.

IMO it's ok...Tarte is way more juicy, but the Elf can be easier to work with. I prefer the Tarte. The NYX is similar to the Elf. Like Jess says "just not as Juicy"!
