This and "More Than A Feeling" are my favorites from this album. Now that you've heard it, go back and listen more closely to the bass guitar. It is so intricate. Tom Scholz doesn't get much attention for his bass playing skills, but he was a monster. (Still waiting for that Journey video to drop!)
Agree! I'm primarily a guitar player and singer but I've played keyboard drums and bass in bands before and I just love in general what's happening on the base here in this first album. Plus I saw them live in 1977 and it was great. Fran sheehan? Something like that. Oh man it's just totally pops.
The lead guitar and the guitar solo at the end is a complete masterpiece.
A great song after a rough day.
Listening to this song w whisky neat and a water back is very relaxing.

That's hilarious man, they are hitching a ride on the spaceships that are on the cover of the album. And have you noticed that those spaceships also look curiously like electric guitars?
