This wasn't one of my favorites when I first got it on 8-track cassette cartridge when I was in junior high, but it didn't take long for it to become yet another favorite from this album. And I think it's amazing how they can end up totally rocking out in the middle of one of the most mellow beautiful songs on the album, laugh.
This is regarded as one of the greatest debut albums in rock history you could just find a playlist for that first album and react to the ones that you haven't reacted to yet. You can't go wrong.
So many hits and it's one of those perfect albums, kind of like Fleetwood Mac Rumors.

Boston was one of those Mid Mid '70's Bands, that had it's own unique sound, just like Styx! Rock On Boston!!! RIP Brad Delp, 🤘🤟✊👊💥🔥

Yes! But there wasn't much of a 'band' it was Tom Scholz working alone in his tiny basement studio for 6 long years, with some help from drummer Jim Masdea, and all vocals including all harmonies done by the amazing Brad Delp. A 'band' was hired musicians to perform the music live on stage.

Those guys playing those instruments on this album are Brad singing, Seb playing drums and Tom Scholz playing acoustic guitar, 12 string guitar, electric lead guitar, electric rhythm guitar, bass guitar and organ. Yeah one guy playing most of the instruments and of course he also recorded this album in his basement. Great reaction and thanks for sharing. Chris

Guitars in harmony all played by one guy(Tom Scholz) and vocals in harmony all sung by one guy(Brad Delp). Tom also played all the other instruments except drums.
This album is from 1976. Influenced a lot. Nirvana took the riff from "More Than A Feeling" into their first hit.
Next? The entire first album is all hits, but check out "Foreplay/Long Time" and "Smokin'"; and then "A Man I'll Never Be" from their second album.

Wasn't sure if I loved this song when I first heard it probably 45 years ago, that is until the guitar solo came in, and my mind was changed forever. Just a tip for many as I see this too often: I have a ton of headphones including Audio Technica, and most of the time the cable goes on the left ear cup, so people have them on wrong. Not sure how much of a difference it makes, but I thought I would just point it out so people might want to doublecheck theirs.
