Helldive 9 Diff Solo with EAT-17 | Launch ICBM, No Deaths | HELLDIVERS 2 (With Commentary)

- Another helldive solo deathless run against Terminids using only EAT-17 as our support weapon and playing with the new stun grenade! Unfortunately, we couldn't find the last secondary objective, but overall, a pretty good run! This was played live on stream so you could hear me commenting about the game and responding to viewers.

Without using Flamethrower or Arc Thrower, our clearing speed is heavily reduced. So, we rely on the Slugger as our primary since it has medium armour penetration and works well against all small and medium bug types including the bile spitters - staggering them and stopping them from spitting. It has low rate of fire, but makes up with the strong stagger and decent damage up close. We are also using the new stun grenade which works wonders, keeping the bugs together and allowing us to use Eagle Airstrike & 500 KG bomb to clear them effectively. Also, with EAT-17 we can clear chargers and bile titans fairly quickly. With shield + light medic armour we can kite easily and take on prolong fights. Overall, this setup works fairly well since it sort of cover all bases!

Great video! Really well played, and I enjoy the style. Not avoid everything but not kill everything either. Wish that we had better map traversal options though because just shy of 10km ran is crazy haha.
Thank you, appreciate it! Yeah, I usually try to just fight around objectives but not during traversal. Yeah, hopefully they do add like some vehicles of sorts to help with that!

is it good against automatons
I've only tried it briefly, pretty nice for clearing the small bugs. Though at the moment I'd probably still prefer slugger for better overall effectiveness against Terminids.

amazing against automatons, but against terminids, putting them down as fast as possible is key. guard dog rover to cover you, and the slugger for one shotting small bugs and wrecking the big ones
@@BigMommaGartI find it hard to put down the Slugger no matter which front I am on, its just so good.
Great damage, accurate, reloads one slug at a time which is amazing for your ability to always put shots down at enemies and the stagger is godly. Every day I fear to see a update with heavy nerfs to it because the devs seem to prefer to keep weapons in line by nerfing the ones that are good rather than buff the ones that fall behind :/
12:20 I would highly recommend anyone playing on controller learn how to use gyro/motion sensor controls. You'll be able to aim nearly just as efficiently as mouse and keyboard. It really isn't as awkward as people make it out to be. Spend literally 1 day with it and you'll start to get the hang of it.
Can you explain what you mean by gyro/motion sensor controls and how it's different with just joystick? Also compatible with DS4 controller?

I’ve never seen that helmet in that color, I think mine is gray and red. I think you mentioned to a viewer how yours is green but I didn’t understand the explanation. Is this a different build of the game (than NA) or a mod or something?

You should try the autocannon
I haven't played with it a whole lot, but I tried it kinda feels inconsistent when dealing with Chargers. Will definitely give it a few more runs.
@@xD3viLztry hitting the back legs twice after you dodge a charge. Easier is 3rd person imo for that specific task. Also reliable for clearing huge bug hives. Needing a backpack is the main downfall

Thoughts on slugger post nerf?
Feels pretty bad on bugs since it can't really stagger/disrupt armoured bile spewers which are pretty dangerous due to their spits, and now you need another item to deal with them - this was kinda my main reason in using it before the nerf. Damage reduction isn't very noticeable, can still take out most bugs in 1~3 headshots. They should've kept the stagger and let it have stronger damage / trajectory drop off instead.

@@ramezwassef2883 I think Jar 5 dominator is a decent alternative, good stagger and damage as well. Otherwise possibly fire breaker + impact nades can work as well.
Video is fuzzy even on 1080p. 2k would be nicer to watch.
Yeah unfortunately my setup cannot support running on high resolution and quality!
This game needs more music. They have good music now, but there’s not enough diversity so it feels too repetitive
They need to focus more on the actual BUGS that make the game annoying and unplayable. Who else is experiencing the class reset bug?
Yeah there are quite a few inconsistent mechanics as well which is annoying. I haven't seen the class reset bug - does that mean you are starting from level 1?
@@xD3viLzeverytime you load into any destroyer your loadout is set back to default. You just gotta re equip all the weapons you had on you. Not really that big of a deal.
