Helldivers 2 - No Stratagems Post-Nerf Solo Helldive vs Terminids (With Commentary)

- Solo play has been nerfed in the recent patch (01.000.300), with more frequent patrol spawns. Based on my previous runs, there seems to be about 30% increase in bug spawns. Can we clear solo helldive missions without using any stratagems which is a big part of the gameplay mechanic? We are playing the “Purge Hatcheries” and “Launch ICBM” missions to show how it can be done.

One my favourite missions tbh.
Wow! I just fell like my Helldiver runs so slowly, like in a nightmare. Might also be that I suck at kiting.
what armor do you use?
I'm using light armour which helps since it has higher speed and stamina. Plus, in the runs I had pretty good terrain which helps to block line of sight, so they weren't really following as closely.
Change your FOV to at least 70, it will feel a lot faster!
does that first weapon close bug holes as well?
Nope, the last time I tried the only primary/secondary that works are the Erupter and the grenade pistol.

support weapons are stratagems too.
I didn't use any of them, just had to select something else you can't proceed.
