A great looking watch with the perfect dimension for my small wrist. But so many negative reports of the 6R35 movement in this watch in terms of accuracy. Too bad. I don't want a watch that's off by 15-30 or more seconds every day.

I gotta say, it's definitely possible with this movement. I've had good examples and bad. The worst was about 30 seconds fast a day. Very annoying.

I have the green variant....wears awesome...I'm waiting for an Uncle Seiko President bracelet....the stock bracelet is decent....but I prefer a more pronounced taper....I also prefer this model to the original Alpinist..... great review!

I can't decide which I like more, but I'm leaning toward the previous model. I wish they used lume to paint the numbers instead of just paint in this model. It annoys me so much, lol. The previous model gets away with it since it's applied golden indices.
Uncle seiko makes a great bracelet! Thanks for watching!

I tried on this blue one is the store and the numerals seemed too small for the dial. Looks great in pictures but in person watch was too small for me.

I agree. Even the previous model alpinist wears a bit small because of the small numerals and compact dial. I wish it was a 40mm.

I like seiko's but citizen has better quality. My seiko's are pressed metal links, my citizen is solid links. Thank you for another good video!

I haven't had a citizen yet, but when I have handled them at the store, they seem superior in terms of quality at any given price point. I've never noticed an alignment issue. I often wish the dials have more like though.

These are classics, the old one was more my speed but I'm an old fart so...this one may become as beloved as the green cult OG.
BTW, do you have a jewellers polishing cloth, ? it'll buff out some of the macro scratches for close ups.
You really notice stuff I would never see, I think of it as useful money saving advice, stay ruthless matey.
Also, as a data led reviewer you need a Timegrapher.
I think Seiko deserves a 7 for brand to be fair, £500 tho is cheeky

I like the green more too overall. But the dial texture and less busy design are really nice on this one. I don't have a polishing cloth. I don't mind if the watch shows some scratches. Just let's the viewers know this is a well loved piece!

@@jamesblonde2271 Indeed! This is real life, not some fake instagram baloney. I had someone on a watch forum tell me to change my video titles to be more click bait-y and to change my thumbnails to be a shocked face. I told him that I appreciated his feedback but I only want to attract people authentically.
