Running to nearest Seiko store now. Absolutely great size. Both my SARB033 and OP 36 fit perfectly on my 7 1/4 wrist. These medium sized watches are naturally more elegant on the average wrist than people realize.
I’ve almost the same wrist size myself I to have a OP but my one is the 39red , I’ve just got hold of an Sinn 556A and that is 38.5 and fits like a dream you should check it on my channel 👍🏻

Purchased it. Loving it more than my other watches. I personally found the green dial is kind of "peaceful" to look at. And moreover take it under the sun dusk or dawn. The green dial sparkles & that's really beautiful. I have seen other green dial watches too. But this one is just brilliant. I have spent hours just looking at it.
200m, reasonable size, good movement, sapphire, AR and good looks. This is very high on my list. Clasp looks better than on my Turtle and bracelet decent for the budget. My wrist is 7.25" too and my sweet spot is 38-41mm, granted some watches wear well with a low lug to lug distance but this is truly on the money.

I would agree I think the red tip kind of disappears on the green dial. On the blue and black I find it has more impact. But gorgeous watch. I do think the watch falls into the tool watch category regardless of the lume (which is very strong) all alpinist are tool watches and the compass variant use the same lume (albeit green lumibrite not blue). Smaller size is preferable to me, I love to a wear the 36mm size. Thanks for the vid 👏

@@SomeOneOneOne I'm very happy with it. The fit is great. The lume is the blue lumibrite found on a lot of the newer Seikos. I can still see it in the morning. I'd say, go for it. Mine is also running +/- 1.5 sec/day. Very accurate. It's my EDW. I've worn it every day for over a month.
38mm watches fit best on my 7.5in wrist. Atleast from my point of view. It looks perfect on yours as well. To generalize , I will say 38.5mm is the sweet spot.

I like being able to swap them around one week the bracelet next a leather or rubber strap or even a NATO Simon 👍🏻 ps when it comes to the timing they are pretty easy to regulate if needed

I cannot afford expensive watches so I collect different seiko depend on what I can afford, this watch is so beautiful a but out of my price range but ill save for it I really love it!

Just ordered one with the black/grey dial. Super versatile type of watch. Can see this becoming the new daily. Found a deal at £500 new too. Feels like a reasonable price.
I bought mine last week, here in Ontario, Canada. I really love it, HOWEVER, I think Seiko could've done better with the price. I bought mine for $1045 CAD and I think it would truly be a way better watch if it were - for example - $200 lesser.

Hi. Just a question. Is there a Seiko watch that is battery operated or similar to it that is as elegant as their Automatic watches? Just bought my first automatic watch, the Seiko SRPD23K1. It is a good elegant watch with its blue dial, but having to re-power it almost every time I didn’t wear it and the + - seconds it adds up every day if it stays power on is kind a deal breaker for me. Just want something that is Seiko but stays on.
As I remember the model you have has the 4r35 movement which has around 41 hours of power are you getting about this much ? as for time keeping you can get a watch maker to regulate it so it shouldn't be more than around +6 sec a day or maybe better . The next Seiko's up have around 70 hours of power , You should check out some of the Solar range like the Solar Tuna they may suit you better or even the standard battery powered ones , The battery ones don't be but of by the size as they wear about the same as the watch you have , Here is a review of my Tuna th-cam.com/video/xUJdI2f03Cs/w-d-xo.html
The power reserve is better on the 6R35 but the beat rate is still only 21,600 so 6 beats per sec were the SW200 has 28,800 and 8 beats per second you have to go up to the 8L movement of the MM300 to match it Carlos
Ps One thing I do prefer with the Seiko movement is the hand winding is a lot smoother were the SW200 if you always hand wind it you can damage the gears , Regulating the movement is harder than the ETA as it has a screw to allow you to regulated which is much easier than the Seiko :)

Great watch now it has taken the redundant rotating bezel off. I like the dial but would have been nice to see it with the old green dial as well. Green dial with Brown leather strap for me , but not at £600.00 thats a bit too much for such a mass produced watch. at £400.00 I think I would buy one.

Solar powered watches just leave me feeling cold and have no weight behind them , I had an eco zilla once but because I didn't wear it for months at a time it killed it of as I don't like to leave watches out so it wasn't getting any sun light , Autos I can work on they have a beating heart dare I say a soul Robert
You should be able to get the right fit still and remember a lot of Grand Seiko's and others come with a butterfly clasp so you don't have any micro adjustment

Seiko should've kept metal case back for a thinner thickness...and retailed it for around 400ish. This would be a major go.

Just bought mine this week and I think it looks great on my 7.25 wrist. People tend to forget that the hero’s of WW2 wore smaller watches.
These size watches just feel so comfortable and don’t get in the way like some bugger models do

This watch looks great. Regarding size - this watch would look bizarre in 40+mm. It has retro look and 38mm is perfect imo.

Looks much smaller than the Sinn. Is that down to the bezel being slightly wider?
Yes mostly I think the dial on the Sinn is a little bigger and less busy which also helps it to look bigger plus the Sinn has crown guards.
I think this would look better with the dial 1 or 2mm smaller. Same case but a bit wider bezel. Then add a chapter ring

Looks like this has the same clasp gap problem the SARB033/35s had.
Seiko do some great watches just a shame about there end links and bracelets but this is why companies like Strapcode do so well I guess

12.9 mm thick is actually way too thick for a non-diver watch. It would wear weird on many wrists.
