My name is Mr. Chao and welcome to Chao Time. I’m back with the last watch in my four part chronograph series. This is going up against the Sugess Chronograph Mechanical, Bulova Lunar Pilot, Seiko SDGZ019. Of course, this is the most expensive, so it would make sense that it ranks highest, but how will it rank in terms of value? Let’s find out.
The reviews start with my as objective as possible scoring against a rubric to get a total score. I then take the score and apply a value multiplier to get a value score. Then, I rank the two scores against all the other watches I have reviewed up to that point. After the review, I give a completely subjective opinion which takes into consideration everything that goes into buying a watch.
Before we can begin scoring the watch against the rubric, we first need to understand the purpose of the watch and what design language inspires it. Well, it’s a chronograph with design cues from a very popular and historic timepiece, the Speedmaster Professional. However, it has a bit of a dressy flair.
