This is the best video I have seen on the internet explaining/showing how to replace the clutch cable. I am riding to Tennessee (Tail of the Dragon) next week and while giving my bike a check out for the trip yesterday I noticed the clutch not feeling right. I was able to get a cable overnight air and replaced it in time for the trip. Many thanks !!!

    Congrats for this video.
My cable snapped 2 days ago, and just watching the video, I was able to change it with no difficulty.
    Many thanks for that.

Cheers NBW. Had to replace mine today as I wasn’t as forward looking as you and mine snapped at the lever. This vid was very helpful indeed. Thanks for posting

Thanks for the video, my cable just snapped, after 20000km.
You gave me confidence to change it myself.

Thanks for taking the time to make this. My cable was too long, so your bit at 9:25 was perfect and just what I needed. ;)

I was warned that this clutch cable (original design) snaps at 25-30000 mls and yet, I did not anticipate! Well it did snap and I had to push the bike back home 5 or 6 blocks (American) in the heat of New Orleans, La. Not fun! I had the part over-nighted and just replaced it after watching your video. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing. On a side note do you mind telling me the brand and where did you get the extra screen placed on top of the original. Is it effective? Thanks

Hi Assen, it's a cheap one I got from Aliexpress but I believe puig and givi make the same thing if you want a branded one.

How do you like those long fog lights mounted sideways? how did you mount them? nice bike, thinking about doing the same. Not sure how the beam spread would be mounted like that.

I fitted them to make myself more visible to other drivers rather than extra light for me. They're mounted sideways to avoid breaking if I drop the bike.
