I Should add expecting this one being same as my XSR700. 1. the the upper part close to the handbars there is a cable clip(is a plastic thing holding the clutch cable and left electrical buttons, if you watch carefull they can open) so dont just try to take out it by force. 2. in all the videos they lubricated the cable so do it before putting it in(you can use engine oil or specific cable lubricant). i still dont know why mine snap at 14k eather some neighbor manipulated the cable or it was my fault for keeping the open side facing up (the piece you turn on the handbar) and the weather warn the cable. from now on i will be watching the cable one a week and before long trips, like my tires other things.
buy a cable rapear kit, is just for a temporary solution, while your cable arrives(in the cable there is the OEM CODE so you can purchase 30-40dollars). this way you dont get stranded if you dont want to drive without clutch(i wouldn't do that)
