Did you think this was not challenging? I was constantly re-routing it to take as many turns and strange paths as I could! And very likely, yes, there will be a disengagement that ends every one of these. The point is to see how far it can go before it needs intervention, and to see how that improves over time.
@@DeusExTesla Yes, but if this is like a video game, every game your score will be *ZERO* points. On any modestly challenging route, 30 minutes or more, FSD cannot handle driving *without* *human* *assistance* .
@@DerekDavis213 I think you're missing the point. The point isn't that it's flawless, it's to see how far it can go. It's just a fun challenge and a way of tracking progress with the software.
@@DeusExTesla Ok I see what you mean, it's fun to keep score and watch the progression. At least you have a realistic view of FSD. Other Fanclub boys and compensated endorsers are saying things like FSD is solved! FSD is better than a human FSD: Full Autonomy soon! All nonsense.
@@DerekDavis213 I hear you. Certainly Elon and fans (myself included) have been too optimistic in the past. However, I do think v12 marks a big turnaround. Will it be solved 6 months from now? No. But I do think progress will be quicker than its been, just based on the massive improvement v12 brought. I can't emphasize enough how human it now feels compared to before. I believe with enough time and training data, they will get it to the point of being a reliable and usable robotaxi service in the near future, 1-2 years I would guess. We'll see though! Might take longer.
Interesting will be fun to follow how it progresses . I like this idea!
If you drive an even modestly challenging route, there will be no points.
Human disengagement on *_EVERY_* trip.
