My bf bailed immediately after finding out I was pregnant. We were 18. He has since had twins with another woman and I’ve been raising my son alone up until recently as I am engaged to be married to a man who is a better father than he ever could be. It gets better. But it’s going to be hard.

I also was 18 and my bf bailed immediately (he was 21), I raised my son alone, met my now husband and he became his father. My husband and I also have a daughter together now and I am 30. It will be very difficult but it is sooo much easier than dealing with that type of person.

He seems rude for sure, particularly the interaction of how she wanted him there for pafking her hospital bag. For him, though, it is not that important just to pack some supplies, and it won't take long. She wasn't clear that this is something she needs emotionally from him to show his support. If he still says no, then she needs to make it clear to his face that he is being rude and uncaring ro her. She is only telling the camera, from the looks of this video, how disappointed she is in him. He's a teenage boy, it's not unheard of that he would be selfish and thoughtless about the situation.

Lady, you don't need to say you are disappointed, she already knows you are. No one is happy when their teen gets pregnant/gets someone pregnant... Its just something you have to accept once its happened. I was pregnant at 16 and had my daughter at 17. My mom said she would support and help me no matter what, but its not what she wanted for me even though nobody would change having my daughter in our lives.

My heart is breaking for this girl. She is trying so hard to connect with and engage the baby's father but he is blocking her all the way. As for the mum, I understand her wanting a different path for her daughter, but why she has to be so negative towards her daughter, I am not sure. I am hoping it's just the producers purposely editing the video in this way to create tension. I hope, more than anything, that Emiley has the support and encouragement she needs.

His parents just sit there through interviews making excuses for him and he just soaks it up. They are at fault for not instilling values of integrity and responsibility in him. They grew their rotten apple of a son so don't blame it on his age.
When she explained that he was belittling and rude to everyone except for her in the beginning is probably why she fell for him. Somebody who treats everyone like garbage but treats you like gold would do something to your confidence but he was just putting up a front until his true colors came through

I’m married to a great man and father and when I was pregnant I felt so vulnerable and insecure at times that every little thing upset me…can’t imagine what this girl has to deal with at such a young age

The mom has a total right to NOT be ready for this. She's kinda mourning too, the loss of her daughter as she knows her, or the loss of their relationship as it has always been... That said, kinda hard to figure out that mom. Comes across slightly immature?
Doesn’t mean the mom has to express it to her daughter, it’s not the daughters fault that the mom can’t keep herself together and realize that her daughter is having the baby, you can tell just by her attitude that she wasn’t and isn’t happy about her daughter being pregnant, she’s being selfish because her daughter is pregnant and will have to put more attention on a baby other than being stuck on her mothers him all the time. Like the girl is 37 weeks pregnant the mom should be over it and and tell her daughter that she’s proud of her for being so strong and being pregnant with barley any support, instead the mom is holding a grudge and having attitude about it.

Diego fs isnt. But shes going to adapt teens actually adapt quicker yo being parents than adults of course she doesn’t seem all the way there though because she hasn’t actually started parenting yet. My daughter got pregnant at 16; I wasn’t thrilled, but I was very supportive 💕. I’m so grateful my 18 month old granddaughter, Dream, has a daddy that loves her and her mommy more than anything 🥰. 🙏🏻 I’m truly realizing now what a blessing that is at this age…. Or any age😉

I feel so bad for her 💔 I'm 22 and found out I was pregnant a couple weeks ago, my mother said she was disappointed in me. I had my first ever boyfriend at 21. At my age my mother had 3 kids and she says she's disappointed in me. I see the same thing going on here, the mother had a teen pregnancy too and is being hyprocrytical.

I started dating my boyfriend almost two years ago and I am fifteen now. trust me, we dont talk to each other the way these two do. because neither of us forced a relationship. we were friends and naturally feelings just went in a certain direction and...here we are. through dating him, ive learned what its like to be in a committed relationship and how to properly communicate in a healthy way. not every relationship ended up in rainbows, hence having an ex-boyfriend, but I genuinely love him. although we are nowhere near ready for something as drastic as a child. thats faarrr into my future.

The first thing my parents told me when I told them I was pregnant at 15 they were disappointed but they were always going to support me. I'm 23 and they have always been there not just for me but my kids as well
The end part really got to me. She said she expects him to be a father in his own time. She already knows he's checked out, she's just trying to get him involved because she's in love or wants to prove people wrong. Hopefully they're not together, he should be held accountable. However, not at the expense of the child. She didn't ask for a deadbeat so it's better for him to be at a distance and still support her.
Sadly, she needs to forget this young man and raise her child. She has a support system in place. This young man will live to regret his not being a part of his childs life.

She’s young and in love. One day she may wake up from her fantasy, the hope she has that her boyfriend will change. It’ll devastate her more than it already has… when the veil lifts. She’s hurting her family by holding onto someone like him, everyone learns their lessons, consequences of their choices. Him being rude is not her fault, but her tolerating it IS.

These are the kinds of things that happen when 2 children make a baby. So sad one has no choice but to grow up and take responsibility and the other gets to pick and choose. I’m the product of a 16 year old mom and 25 year old father. My parents married first then got pregnant 3 months later. My grandma signed permission and so it began. My parents hardly had me my grandma had me more so to me she more my mom than my real mom. My dad even though he was 25 wasn’t ready to be a father. He took care of me financially but physically no. That’s the best thing you can do❤️I got pregnant at 20 with a boyfriend and he wasn’t ready to step up. So I did it. Ans when he was ready he had to go to court to get visits. Her mom isn't disappointed in the pregnancy. I feel like she is upset with the idea that Diego is still around.
