    19:09 Casting Seek the Beast in the Endstep, before it expires will grant you 2 extra cards for your next turn, cause its worded "until your next endstep" ... i think

    @covertgoblue for the future, there is a line of text that says, "This card was exiled this turn." to know what cards were exiled this turn or last.

    19:09 Correct me if im wrong but I think if you set a stop at end step you could cast the druid during the endstep before the cleanup and keep the cards until the "next endstep" like druid's adventure describes.

    Questing Druid says that the cards go away at the beginning of your next end step so I think you can cast it in your endstep and still have your next turn to play them.

    • @Jawzah
      @Jawzah ปีที่แล้ว

      I conclusion - Yes I think you're right. And it's relevant for dodging counterspells and "chaining" with older "impulse draw" cards - which go to until end of (next) turn = until your next turns cleanup step. If it was until your next cleanup step instead - you still could not "chain" two seek the beasts as the ending of both the original and one cast from exile from the original happens at some times. I suppose the difference is intentional - but maks it annoying to track the expiration timings of different impulse draws on paper.. You need separate piles for impulse and beastseeked exiles even if they're about to expire in same turns end phase - one expires in end step and another in the cleanup step.

  • @jojodelacroix
    @jojodelacroix ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Glad i pulled 4 pias amongst the like dozen or so packs i opened from Aftermath. Lol.
    Sadly i think chandra is pretty bad here. I think more Gobakhans make a lot of sense as well honestly. The protection can be huge for your pia, attacking their hand is great, and building your board is amazing.
    Jaya could be amazing in this deck though. You have wide boards so her -2 hits often. Her -1 lets you play something from exile. And her +1 gives you a prowess creature which is awesome considering how many non-creatures are in the deck. I might have to mess with that some myself.
    Oddly, the deck feels like it could really use some mana generation. Maybe Meria from DMU. Wait. She doesnt work with tokens. Hmmm. You might still be able to make her work, but that definitely makes it wayyyy trickier. Probably best for a different deck.
    Maybe the card in question should be professional face breaker. It can quickly generate treasure for you and then you can use that treasure to either play put more things or draw into more things.

    I don't buy any of the sets or pay any money for anything, but I have amassed an ok card collection, enough to make a deck very similar to this. This game is completely rigged and not random at all, if you are a TH-camr or you buy the sets your deck comes out completely different than how mine comes out. I just played this and got destroyed most games because the game is completely rigged and not random. Everytime my opponent would just amass a large army of powerful creatures that I couldn't remove at all. I didn't get the removal cards, and I didn't get the draw cards that he got at all and I didn't get the Pia's that he got.
    I don't think these people understand the game is a joke and a scam. I played the real card game a lot so I know how the real game plays, and its not like this. If you do not pay the hundreds of dollars to buy the sets, you can't win at the same rate.

      I have been playing it all morning. Its a total joke. I keep playing opponent after opponent that is pumping out powerful creatures that I can't deal with, Altraxa, Vorinclex shreoldred etc. On top of that I have the same identical lands but have serious land and color problems because if you don't buy the cards you can;t play 3 color decks at all. They never come out right.
      You people have no clue this game is a total scam and a total joke. I doubt any of you have ever played the real card game, anyone that has, knows this online game is a fraud and rigged to benefit all the people that spend hundreds of dollars buying the cards. If you do not buy the cards you can not win.

    Wow had been trying to make a tokens deck work (using the x rats and devilish valet) but it was only 50/50 on ladder, I was considering other cards but had no Pias and no Virtue of Loyalties in my collection; after watching this I would say they are worth crafting!

      MTGGoldfish just made a vid with the deck in Bo3, so you can see the sideboard there.

    I might be wrontg.
    But at 8:47 you use the Torch the Tower on the Bramble Familiar, because killing the Descrator Zombie means it kill ssomething of yours... but the red instant woud EXILE the Desecrator.. so its remains are exiled, too desecrated to cause anyhting else to do.
    It would have been a great choice to kill it over the smaller thing as you removal their removal on a creature.
    But realisitically either way works for the win.
    I just thought i'd remind you that the Torch the Tower has that removal that has you exiled from the game, like the...well people where exiled from jeresalum and many other places alike.
    I'll leave that openen ended, this is the inernet and I feel my slightly tongue in cheac joke from being rather drunk... will net me ....hmm 50 donvotes. I wish there was a sports bet on this kinda thing (too easy to rig though)
