Doctor - Any idea how to stop the auras? No headache , just auras. Magnesium + CoQ10 has not helped me. I'm on a sugar free diet so that has not helped either. My blood work, BMI etc is all fine
      Any idea?

This is a very helpful video. I wish I had found a doctor like you years ago. Here in the UK, you get a 10 minute consultation with a GP, who doesn't have the time, or the training to find the cause of your problem. What you typically get is a drug to suppress the symptoms. Integrative medicine is a far more effective approach for chronic and lifestyle related conditions.
I started to get episodic migraines in 2011. Then in 2018, my migraines become chronic, in fact almost daily. My doctor prescribed the usual drugs which were largely ineffective,. Last year, I began to experience troublesome GI symptoms, and a blood test and biopsy showed that I have coeliac disease. It turns out that coeliacs often suffer from migraine. I began a gluten free diet a month ago, and I'm hoping that, in time, this will relieve my migraines. Ironically, my hobby was bread making, and visiting artisan bakeries!

I suffered very very much with excruciating migraines all my life, but it was extra bad when I was placed on a statin. I came across all of the above information but in many different videos and I had to put one and one together. Interesting for me to find videos years later, like this, that brings all the information together in one video. Anyways... back to the statin. I came across a study years ago that showed there might be a link between migraines and low levels of CoQ10. Then I came across a video that explains what a statin does in your body. Mainly it stops the process that produces cholesterol. But this is the same process that creates CoQ10. I couldn't believe it. I immediately stopped the statin and supplemented with CoQ10. But I also basically did everything in this video. It all started after I did a blood test for something else and it showed a high C-reactive protein count. I wondered what it meant and after reading up about it, I found out it means I have inflammation in my blood. Then I came across a video that mentioned your brain needs Omega 3 to function properly. Then I started looking into what leads to the inflammation in the blood. Then I started reading up about sugar and highly processed foods and oils. The MSG. Etc etc etc. Later on I came across the CoQ10 thing. I made so many changes and all of my migraines dissapeared completely. I've been trying to tell everyone for years about what I learned etc. But they dont take me seriously. Haha. Oh well. At least, now I am seeing a few videos like this that basically sums up everything that I learned a few years ago.

I am 71 and at 60 migraines came back after years of of not suffering. They have come back more frequently. I get aura. Recently, I had 3 migraines in 1 week. Very unusual. I do yoga, walk and very active. I am slim. I eat well eat vegi every night steamed or baked. I stopped coffee have one once or twice a week, do not drink alcohol. I am youngest of 9 children. Two of my sisters once went thru menopause migraines stopped, for me came back at 60. I have had migraines from 12 years of age every 3-4 months. Stopped migraines from 36, only came back once in a blue moon. 2 days before turning 60 migaine came back and they are coming more and more frequently. Please doctor can you help me. I do not want to take medication to stop them from coming. I have stopped food with tyramine for 6 months, now get more frequently than ever. I sleep well I take magnesium, I do not stress, like I did retired. I will try anything. I have started drinking 4 glasses of water in the morning on empty stomach before eating. I am also having glass of water with tiny bit of salt. The only thing I have done for two years eat less salt. I can eat vegi with no salt. This has recently stopped, I hope this works. Today is 5 days migraine free. PRIOR TO THIS HAD 3 MIGRAINES IN ONE WEEK WHICH IS VERY UNUSUAL normally allows me close to a month migraine free. Wait to hear from you. Anna

I noticed that when I take 750 mg of magnesium daily, my forehead wrinkles specifically the 11's get relaxed and flattened similar to the effect of botox. When I don't take magnesium, my forehead muscles get tense. I wonder if it works the same way as botox since it's used for migraines to help relax the muscles so the migraine nerve is not squeezed.

Both Nortriptyline and Imipramine have reduced my head pain by about 50%, but unfortunately there is still the side effect of feeling a little drowsy at times on these medications. I wish I didn’t have to use these medications because I worry if they are safe longterm. According to what I’ve read they should be safe, but it’s still the only two meds I have found that seem to help my headaches some. Tylenol or Ibuprofen doesn’t do anything.
