    I would like to add that some people are just more pre predisposed to getting the keto flu and some side effects when transitioning to a ketogenic diet, but doing it the correct way you can mitigate the negative side effects and most likely almost completely avoid them so do proper research before you start to maximize your chances of success!
    Common Mistakes:
    - Drinking too much water while consuming too little electrolytes. In the beginning consuming added electrolytes can be beneficial in minimizing side effects
    - Relying too much on protein. Remember to eat fat! Fat should make up about 70-80% of your energy intake for optimal results.
    - Not getting enough sleep! Your body is going through a massive change and needs time to rest for optimal results.

    Hey Emil,
    Thanks for sharing your experience on the Carnivore diet.
    I have seen and commented on a few of your videos and watching this one I realized I was not subscribed.
    Now I am subscriber number 100!
    I plan to start the Carnivore diet beginning next month (as I am taking an antibiotic now)
    Main reasons:
    Lose weight,
    Improve my insulin resistance, my A1C and hopefully get off my diabetes meds (I have type 2)
    Decrease/fix inflamation
    The other benefits you mentioned are the cherry (or burger patty) on top!
    I will try it for 90 days.
    If I still need diabetes meds I will continue for another 90 days and I should be fine.

      Thank you so much for the support and for subscribing! 100 subs already is so crazy, but I think this is the start of a great journey!
      I think 90 days will be a good time to see some amazing results and you will definitely lose weight and inflammation. Remember to stay physically active and your body will become a fat burning machine.
      I hope you can kick that T2Ds ass, I know it can be a pain, but what Ive read Ive seen lots of people who have put it into remission through the carnivore diet so Im optimistic and hopeful for you!
      I really like that cherry (patty) on top 😂 saying, can I borrow it sometime?

      I am one week away from 90 days on carnivore myself and have noticed big differences. I'm losing weight but the most amazing thing to me is how well I am sleeping. I am falling asleep a lot quicker than I used to and I have a long, deep sleep...I'm getting around 9 hours per night and it feels wonderful. I plan to continue beyond the 90 days but I gave myself this 90 days as a challenge since I have tried carnivore a few times in the past and only ever managed to last 6 weeks but I am determined to stick with it this time. I used to do keto and if I am honest, my results were far more shocking when doing that but I had more weight to lose then and the transformation was really amazing but for now, the improved sleep quality is in itself worth it for me. Good luck to you with your first 90 days...the best piece of advice I can give you is...expect it to be a big learning curve and don't allow your cravings to sabotage things. The number of times I had to talk myself out of giving in to cravings for that first month is rather scary, but I managed to fight them off haha.

      I was also sceptic once upon a time, but after trying it I have really found it to be a lifechanging lifestyle. I can lose weight and feel so nourished and energized at the same time in a way that I have never before in my life. I say you give it a try for atleast 30 days and see what it brings you!

    How about vitamins?

    • @60-DayCarnivoreChallenge
      @60-DayCarnivoreChallenge  7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      I recommend reading into which things you should be eating to cover all vitamin and mineral needs on the carnivore diet. But just having lots of eggs, red meat and then liver and fish a few times a week will cover basically everything.

      @@60-DayCarnivoreChallenge my concern is more about the phytogenic vitamins like "c" for example

    • @60-DayCarnivoreChallenge
      @60-DayCarnivoreChallenge  5 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@Theok93 Accroding to my understanding when you cut out carbohydrates from your diet the need for Vitamin C decreses dramatically. Vitamin C and Carbs compete for the same cell receptors and in most cases carbs win out which leads to a dramatic decline in the bodys ability absorb vitamin c. If you still are really concerned you could supplement it, but you will get enough if you include stuff like pork liver, salmon, chicken heart, chicken liver, chicken gizzard, fish roe, mussles, sheep milk
      If you include some of these foods here and there every week you should be good👍

      You need to stick to it! The first couple of weeks can be rough for some, but then, it gets better and better each day! It could be you had too much fat. You have to find a balance which works for you. I eat about 70% fat 30% protein and it works wonderfully :)
