I met her and this car at Cars & Coffee in 2023. This was before she put a bigger turbo and some other newer mods. She’s super nice and loves to talk about the car, she went over the build with us as I took photos.
You know, these high powered cars are getting ridiculous. 1100HP is enough to propel quite a number of vehicles into the "fastest car in the world" territory. That's around the same power figure as an unrestricted LMP1 car. That's only 300HP behind the most powerful F1 car in history, and it's enough power to, under the correct conditions, theoretically propel a Group - C era machine to nearly 300mph. The accessibility of these power levels is honestly astounding. And what's crazier, is that people are pushing number far larger than that as well. When I was in high school, getting my Focus to 210HP was an accomplishment for me lol.
@@tylerstickle2957 I should be clear, the majority of vehicles will not be anywhere near the speeds I'm talking about at that, or for that matter, any amount of power. My point on that front was more so that in the correct type of vehicle, That is enough power to put it in that range. Nothing on the street obviously would be able to achieve such high speeds at that level, with weight and aerodynamics being a serious problem, let alone tires and fuel usage as well as cooling. However, take for example a DW12 generation Indycar... at 650HP speeds of around 240mph are possible. Taking a look further into the past, GT1 era GT cars were capable of reaching over 210-215 mph in LeMans configuration, with again, around 600HP-850HP. Scaling back to simpler tech and aero, a pop-era cup series car (2000's) was capable of around 220mph in draft at around 825hp. So, it stands to reason that an equally lightweight, and aero-capable vehicle could be propelled to higher speeds with such a significant jump in power. There are quite a few cars today that would theoretically fit the bill. Excluding obviously, anything the average person has access too. My main point though, was just how technologically impressive it is that this kind of power is so much more accessible to the average person. Yes, deep pockets are still a requirement, and no, you're not competing with the rich roll-gang or 1/2 mile guys pushing 3500hp in a Lambo. But, your, for example, Subaru Forester, will still be a good bit faster than anyone would have thought it possible for a Forester to go, not that long ago.
@@sskkkkiiii You ain't wrong. I remember growing up when 7-800 was like absolutely INSANE. If you were lucky enough to get into the 4-500 range you were pretty much "the shit" and to this day, the fastest thing I've been into compare anything with is a 470ish WHP Srt4.
Loved the intro! I've seen her at local meets and at a dragstrip, and man, that thing is quick! It's impressive to see that thing get down the track faster than just about all other cars that show up for test and tune days.
This is such a stupid concept and is everything car culture should be. I fucking love it. an 1100BHP Forester has no reason to exist. The fact that you built one is just beautiful. Absolute art
2 of the coolest people in the car scene own that fozzy. I enjoy that as a fellow forester driver in the same area as them that I get to see this monster at all the shows!
I’ve met the owner!! She lives near me and comes to Cars & Coffee. I have photos on my phone of this car! I am unbelievably stoked to see you go over this thing dude, holy shit.
These are the kind of builds that take years. All of the trial and error, sourcing certain parts, having to engineer a lot of the build yourself. Love it.
I bought a 21 forester two years ago when our baby was born . I love driving that thing. Even stock i think its zippy .could only imagine 1000hp . Love it!!!
I used to work with the person who built this car, that thing is absolutely wicked to experience in person. Glad to see it's made it's way to this channel!
I’m so glad other cars that aren’t expected to be built get built. I’ve always had a passion for hilariously built sleepers that no one expects. Volvos and 90s sedans first got me into it and the passion has never stopped because seeing someone’s 😮 face is too much fun
The coolest thing about the Forester is that it's on the same chassis as the WRX/STI and stock for stock, the SH-gen Forester XT is only 60lbs heavier than a GR/GV STI. They're also 0.5in narrower than an STI and only 6in longer. Super fun platform to build.
ayyyy that’s crazy i’ve been waiting on this video. i used to work with Wayne that’s his wife’s he built for her i still have the videos of him pulling it in the shop and telling me about it
Been a while since I’ve checked in (the Miata you drove with the tongue on the front bumper!) no more dubstep intros?? 😂 Still great content and material from this channel, I see! What a Subaru!! If these welds on the manifold are done by a human, they deserve every dollar they made from that, serious quality and skill!
I'm not a subaru fan. With foresters though, completely different story. I view them like I view volvos, there's something about them that says "I got nothing here for you" and you know that they're lying. It's like the saying "it's more fun to drive a slow car fast..." except when the slow car is supposed to be slow, tells you it's slow, but didn't tell you that it considers F22s as the definition of fast. Sidenote: I bet with a set of pilot sports, and maybe a different set of coilovers, that thing could be a blast on a road course.
It’s funny because I have the same gen forester so seeing everything that’s done to it is so cool because I know what this car is like completely stock
It's funny how I knew EXACTLY which Fozzy this was based off the thumbnail. I've been following her on IG for at least 3 years now, pretty dope Fozzy honestly
After currently dailying a granny 2010 forester while i got my gti apart in the garage, i found out about the older ones with a manual and turbo and man i want one so badly now lmao
Yes I paid for licensed music.
I think it was worth it.
Definetly was
Been a minute since I listened to Paramore. I'll have to find my old cd's again lol
It's never been more important. Killer job again, D
100%
Bro came in hard with some Paramore?! I'm here for it all!
1,100 hp of "we're gonna get that last Thanksgiving turkey before anyone else" 😂
“Huh I got here before they even opened the store”
@@ThatDudeinBlueOh hell yeah, we’re making a full thanksgiving dinner with this one boys!
@ThatDudeinBlue 😂😂😂😂 "I thought the morning shift had more time, heh, I guess I beat the record again" 😂😂
The intro goes so insanely stupid hard
I watched this car get built from the ground up. So glad to see it getting the spotlight
So crazy to see this thing on this channel. Been seeing it around Cincinnati for years now. So cool

Power figures are not the same anymore. Especially when you can make 600+ wheel with less than $3k on a lot of modern platforms

"1100" hp car claiming to be set at 800 but actually running around 600 by the looks of this vid
This thing is rad, She lives locally so i get the pleasure of seeing this thing all around town . nutty fucking car
Intro music goes hard
Yeah I love paramore

Slaughter to Prevail goes hard. Paramore goes more like a modeling clay. Lol I'm only playing!

Yeah Bianca's car fucks hard..and as much as I dislike subis there's no denying craftsmanship and detail on this one!!
Them kids will never be late to soccer practice.😂
They will be deaf though 😂
Im so happy seeing a SH Forester being showcased!! I own one and completely admire this foz!
I’ve been around this car since it was stock and I even built the headlights in this beast. The progression has been amazing to watch
Been following this one for awhile!!! Thank you David for giving it the spotlight!
Love seeing locals to me get there recognition and the respect they deserve congrats Bianca and Anthony

I love that someone put all the time and effort into a forester. lol
These are the kind of builds that take years. All of the trial and error, sourcing certain parts, having to engineer a lot of the build yourself. Love it.
The Subaru forester XT is easily one of the most underrated platforms that Subaru made

One of the best Foresters on the world!!! Congratulations to my friend Bianca and her husband Antony !! Keep.pushing it !! 🎉
Love that David has to yell at us the entire video just so we can hear him over the engine.

By far the best Forester I’ve ever seen..
Hats off to the builder and hats off to another great video
Love jades car, been following it for a while. No other subi ik has aura like that
The intro edit was super dope well worth the money for the paramore song.
Loved the use of Paramore for the cinematic shots! Awesome video as always David :)
Paramore for the intro absolutely rocks!! Great choice of music!!! I hope this video still makes money, I'm sure that wasn't cheap .😅
Loved the car, and loved the Paramore!
I have a soft spot for foresters, mines just a non turbo daily but I love seeing them built to go FAST 💨
This car is sick!
I love it I’m all for weird original stuff that blows the wheels off
Bro paramore in the beginning is the most fitting thing for a Subaru I've ever heard
Hey! My 2-step is programmed to a cruise control button... and I like it.
Stoked to see you on familiar roads!
That part of Mexico is pretty green 😉
Always loved the forester. This is epic. Thanks.
I told my friends I want to build my outlander not the lancer. They think I'm crazy.
There’s a guy at the shootout that has one. I’m sure there’s a few out there.
I say do it! Always loved the first gen n facelifted outlanders
I'm building a Baja I'd say get it done lol

Dry sump and Xona, aint playin no games with it!
