Another Hildir tip is that she sells something called iron pits these are essentially campfires that can be placed on wood The downside however is there not teleportable, I find them particularly useful in large multi-story builds.
Awesome. I'm new to valheim and was hoping there was a solution for campfire on floors. I built my first house on top of one of the stones of the stone circles. I had to carefully position things so that my campfire was on the crest of the stone. It's at floor level and sporadically shuts off. It's annoying.
You also talk about how to deal more damage to ekthyr at spawn, with fire. It is very nice. But as you talked about the knife earlier on. A good sneak attack on the boss is really effectiv too
I agree - I prefer to wait until just as the motes coalesce and release an arrow - it usually hits just as Eithyr appears for what appears to be 6x damage. A good mace uppercut on Bonemass as he appears is a great start also. But that's not a beginner video tip. 😂
I already have a weapon guide in the works top 10 weapons but like im going to break it up into 2 or so weapons from each biome, Ill probably do armor too! If you have anymore ideas feel free to comment them!
Hi. I am watching your video and if i may. The best starting weapon is the spear. Not the knife. Even if i use knife during my speedrun games now. But with the spear. You can easily kill all the mobs from close combat and distance. And on top of it you get fast xp.
The thing I like from the spear is that it attracts all the nearby mobs with a surprisingly large radius. I like throwing one when I attack a boar spawn point. Then all the boars charge to me and I don't have to hunt down the 6-9 of them individually. The damage to attack speed is also pretty good just without the 3rd hit damage bonus. The second is that it is pretty handy against Trolls due to pierce damage. Stab, stab roll, stab stab roll. Or even on it's own (or with a second if resources are spare) throwing then fetching while keeping out of reach can be a handy way to wear them down (and less draining stamina and arrow wise).
@Samoooooooo I think they both have their place. I do like me some sneaking behind deer with a knife equipped then leap attacking. Doing so after jumping off or over a rock is also cool. Having no movement penalty means holding it during general exploration or running about it doesn't impact stamina. Though I usually leave knife until Abyssal Razor. Spears have the benefit of being ranged so can bird hunt or deer stalk with stabbing one and then throwing at another before they run. Especially since the materials can be easier to getting early bow.
Knives are pretty fun- the leap attack is always amusing. A good blade like the Abyssal Razor, that you can get relatively early once you put a boat together and sail about a bit, can be good for Troll caves. Sneak in, Sneak behind the troll when he is facing away. Leap Attack. Between the higher damage from the special attack and 10x sneak attack bonus it is possible to one shot some of them. (Knife skill helps here)
Actually useful pro-tips for early game. Refreshing.
Thank you big dog!
Nice job my man! You definitely hit many of the least known tips for sure
Thanks Bro! Love your vids ( had to do the comment again on the right account)

Great tip james! I knew about the iron pits but didn't think about using them like that, thanks!
i think you can use standing/hanging braziers to help with this?

Good tips! Will definitely be using these in the near future!
Yes! I like the sound of that!

Subbed, keep it up man!
I appreciate you, thank you!
I used the stagbreaker to locate silver many times, yet I've never thought about using it to uncover burried treasure.
I´ve always skipped the knives because you know... swords
That was a mistake. Knives are pretty damn good.
