I believe there is a T30 along halfway down the hard fuel line, only accessible if you remove the intake box, removing that, allows the hard fuel line to move up and down without disconnecting it from the other end!
Yes, you are right. Mine is never connected because I just leave that at30 out of play. But with the other end connected, the hard line can move but is still stiff. So loosening the other end is the best route to go.
