- I wanted to talk about the fuel pump recall that I had to take care of recently on my 2019 GTI and I give a little update on plans for the future. The recall is for all MK7/7.5 Gti's and a few other vehicles, Enjoy ð

Itâs 2am and Iâm just seeing this thank god I seen this video I also need a recall on my purge valve as and a recall on the crome shifter plate because itâs peeling
Happened to my MK5 way back in 2010ish, 8000 fuel pumps on back order at that time for 8 months. No recall, no vehicle loaner, it was horrible. At least they recall the part now.
Solid content by the way, subscribing! ð
thanks dude! That does sound terrible tho, I'm very glad that it was relatively easy getting it done for the mk7.
@@RyeGti Me too, they owned up to it which is great. I bought an MK8 recently which after all that with the MK5 is a statement as to how great these cars are even with the odd issues.
I watched a video on replacing it. It only takes 10 min to do the job.
And it's going to be done by the lowest tech on site because it's a warranty repair. And the dealer isn't going to make any money off of it.
I'd rather do it myself. Give me the part vw.
Enjoyed this! one thing Iâve noticed since getting the recall done on my mk7 is the increase in gas mileage have you noticed it yourself?
It seems like a very slight change, but it mightâve also had to do with the oil weight I was using previously too. Maybe both
Thanks for the vid! Did you/ are you removing the silica bag in the coolant reservoir?
Iâll probably take it out if I ever do a coolant flush in the future. Praying the bag doesnât rip until then or at all lol.
â@@RyeGti bruh just take it out now, or else you're sealing your own fate
