- The best details in Dead Island 2 (2023) that you may have noticed during the game or not, all videos were shot by me (GameLight) to find every detail I had to spend a lot of time
Dead Island 2 is the sequel to the zombie survival action game set in infected California, which is cordoned off by US troops, just a few months after the incident of the first part.
The development of the game started in 2012, and ended up in "Production Hell" and for which the game changed three developers, at the moment the game was created by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver

@@indaryus8778 for dambuster studios it only took them 3 years before it was given to them it took deep silver almost a decade to find new studios that would take the project
It lasted so many years in development because the game passed into the hands of multiple developers, what's strange is that it didn't come out with three times as many bugs as Cyberpunk xD
And yet for some people this game is bad.
For me personally it’s one of the best zombie games I have played.
Everyone has their own taste, but personally I had a lot of fun with the game, and I think I will play the game a second time in the future
Its only because the stories not really big all they need to do is add in more areas and expand on the story
For me tbh it was like playing left 4 dead 3 because of the great gameplay and fun I had but the ending was disappointing.
I personally don't care what anyone says against this game, I love it and the little details on everything. I can't wait for any future updates dead island 2 has to offer.
Nostalgia
The first detail. "Pure" distilled water does not conduct electricity almost at all, its great at isolating. Salty water on the other hand should conduct electricity way better than any other kind of water because it has ions of different elements, salts.

Regular distilled Water conducts electricity very well. Take a bath and toss in a plugged in appliance…Let us know how that works out.
This zombie game is not about over-the=top action or fancy movements, but make you focus and appreciate on small detail while messing around ragdoll and gore system. I'm glad some channels take time to showcase instead of shitting on game or discredit developer's hard work.
I don't get sponsorship, I buy all the games with my own money. I will say that the game does not deserve hate, and there are so few zombie games, I would like to see Dead Island 3 if it was possible. These little details make the game amazing, even the gore system I think brought a lot of income to developers.
Ah yes, Dead island 2. The game where you can shoot a 7 foot tall ripped zombie with an electrified nail gun in Venice beach.

Yes bro the butchers how they creep up on you they crouching and move fast af the runners I got use to over awhile since they’re so loud but butchers are so quiet they’re up in your face in seconds also how they block any incoming damage with their blades makes them more annoying than Di1 butchers
I didnt know about shooting the different pipes causes leaks, the glass damaging you, NPCs houses designed to their interests. This game keeps getting more and more amazing.
I just beat the game last night. Best zombie game I've played in awhile. Story is actually pretty good too I just wish it was longer but I guess that will be extended with an expansion. Either way not bad. A really great game in my opinion.
If the map and the duration of the stories were like the first part where you could drive, it would be great. The game is still very interesting and especially fun to play.
When developers care about small details like that i want to throw them my money. I really appreciate it and im sure many others support this view
I haven't seen anyone talk about this but when you kill zombies and come back other zombies will be eating them
The help and bye bye thing happens every time I see zombies like this. They are the only ones I fear for that exact reason. It makes them so damn eerie.
There is no stealth in the game, but if you sneak up you can hear more words. The amazing thing is that it is logical that they can talk, because this is a mutation that has developed in zombies.
They're almost as eerie as those Regenerators in Resident Evil 4 but I'd much rather go against 10 of those things than face one Regenerator.

You should try doing the Lost and Found Rainier quest. I won't say anymore then that.
Some places have working fire suppression sprinklers too. A touch of realism that a lot of games tend to ignore sometimes with the risk of unsuspending disbelief.
Nails do dissappear if u keep shooting them. Shot this zombie with like 60 nails and they started disappearing 1 by 1 after mad long lmao

At 1:34 the zombie with the gold chain and black shirt that looks like Noah from Smosh. At Michaels house in Beverley hills he’s the only one that spawns right outside the house for me. Had like 20 of the same zombie corpse piled up. And I saw one review saying “it’s nice never seeing the same zombie twice” 😂😂😂😂
They had so much time to just work with no direction, that they just made everything as good as they could, and god damn they did good.
This game is a masterpiece when it comes to love of making the game, the detail is awesome, I hope to see more dlc and stuff to keep it going, can’t be left out to die!
Before watching this video, I thought that pure water doesn't conduct the electricity😂. I thought there were ions of Na+ and Cl- in salt water and they conduct the electricity. 😅

One of the first things you learn in highschool chem is the structure and properties of a galvanic cell. Most schools explain that the sodium ions in the salt bridge allow for the flow of current from the cathode to the anode.
Its not a big deal that you made a mistake, just move on.

For how much detail they put into certain aspects it shocking the characters don’t have reflections and don’t leave bloody footprints
And yet the two details they left out were: 1. No reflection in mirrors, and 2. When you're running with your weapon you're holding it still in front of you, but your shadow is swinging it as you would naturally when running.

They missed a perfect opportunity to make the mail gun pin the zombies to a wall or the floor 😂 would’ve been great, but none the less they did a great job with the game

I think I noticed the different outfits for the zombies because I remember fighting some walkers that looked like bridesmaids in the hotel where you first encounter the crusher.

Pure water do not conduct electricity because the ions didn't get disassociated hence your first part is wrong.
I am not a physicist friend, I only know that without charged particles it is impossible to conduct electricity, but I forgot that salt separates ions and sodium increasing conductivity. You are right

I had tried the water cleaning blood, at first It seems to work but after it is dry the blood will come back.

One thing I've noticed that is different from the first one is blood doesn't spread out in the water if you kill a zombie in it. It did in the first one though.
True but then at least in DI2 when you decapitate a zombie it’s the actual head and not just a random blokes mashed up head even when you take off a female zombies head

Pretty good game. Friend and me did all the main and side quests and gathered all legendary weapons. Spent almost 30 hours and it was fun all the time. If this game goes on sale at any time I highly recommend to give it a shot.

The game's graphics are pretty intense. This game was the title that finally made me upgrade my 1080Ti to a 4070Ti

4k is nice and all, but I believe it is excessive since 4k TVs at a refresh rate higher than 60 are absurdly expensive, and also the processing power to render in 4k is fucking absurd. I'd rather play at 1440p at max settings and have an FPS much higher due to it not having to chug out 4k.
If you do like 4k and want it, then yeah, go for it, but it's seems excessive, like dropping $3000 into the engine of a car that already performs well and all you do is drive 5 minutes to work in the city.

dead island 2 is the fun zombie slasher that everyone wants. Dyomg Light 2 i started after finishing Deadisland 2 ... yea the roots of Dying Light changed so hard meanwhite Dead Island 2 Feels like the same as Dead Island 1 but improved.
I woudnt really consider number 13 to be a detial when it's actually a game mechanic.

No it is incorrect, water is bad conductive, and salty water is a great one (it is due to the ions in the salty Walter solution)

This game is so much fun and graphics are awesome but the water effects at the beach are not good, get me some Cyberpunk vibes here or Watch Dogs
