going to concur with just about everyone here: despite never having been pregnant and not planning to be in the near future, your vlogs get me through. idk what it is but your “complaining” is just so validating. i cry when you cry because it just feels like… we understand each other even though were in completely different situations?? idk how to explain it. but to summarize, your complaining is the best so don’t feel bad about it and don’t stop.

The daily vlogs are a reminder for me to pray for her and when she shares her struggles I feel it allows me to be more focused and specific in my prayers. We also get to rejoice with her on the positives.

Honestly I LOVE Colleen for posting this video. I’m currently pregnant (not with twins) and have never felt so unwell and miserable in all my life. I get constant remarks that I’m ‘complaining’ which irritates me because pregnancy is so HARD. I just hope everyone that shames pregnant people and expects them to be happy all the time, can watch some of these videos and actually understand that every pregnancy is different !!

Fun Fact: Reduced body hair is a completely logical side-effect of being pregnant. During pregnancy your normal ovulation cycle is disrupted and your body just continuously produces excess Progesterone and Estrogen which in turn inhibits your production of Follicle Stimulating Hormone and Luteinizing Hormone. This alteration of normal hormone levels also affects secondary sex characteristics such as body hair.
Thank you for this education I vaguely remember learning about it in school but wow that’s cool I was just thinking that the reason why she doesn’t have that much hair is because the babies need the hair more than she does

I'm a chronic pain sufferer as well due to chronic illness and I agree. Though our pain source differs, she feels a lot of the feelings I do on the daily.
This is exactly how I feel as a recent cancer survivor, like every vlog articulates exactly how I’ve felt the last few years it’s so validating
I’m also a chronic pain sufferer. And drs have a way of minimizing situations and symptoms. Like, there’s no empathy. When I hear Colleen, and read your comments I do feel validated.Colleen being vulnerable and honest makes her the most relatable, empathetic, just lovely person. And thank you all for sharing your stories. I wish the best for all of you.
I suffer from chronic pain as well and love Colleen's honesty about how frustrating it can be when you can't do anything, you can't go anywhere, you can barely get upstairs/downstairs. You'll try and make food and feel dizzy, faint or in pain so have to rest. She's highlighting so many people's reality but also staying so positive, finding those moments with her family to make the day worth while. So much love and respect to her 💕

Colleen has always reminded me of my aunt. Their personality’s are just so alike. My aunt was pregnant at the same Colleen was with Flynn and she’s now pregnant again. She also went through a miscarriage earlier this year. I’ve watched Colleens vlogs while she was pregnant and used some of the advice she’s gotten and passed that onto my aunt. My aunt has had a rough pregnancy and found out her baby has a 90% chance of having Down syndrome. I told my aunt to start watching colleens videos and she says she has found so much comfort in them. If you know someone who is struggling with their pregnancy suggest Colleen to them because she has really helped my aunt.
Prayers for your aunt and that her and her baby are both doing well and healthy 💕
for some reason i just completely adore colleen a vlogs. i could listen to her complain for hours, if she released a 3 hour long video of her just crying i would watch it HAPPILY. colleen is just a generally interesting person to watch even if the vlogs are repetitive. i just really enjoy everytime she uploads and hope to god she doesn’t stop because i’ve really been loving them!

I don't know if Colleen realizes this, but I personally find vlogs where you're miserable and "complaining" just as comforting if not more. The reason I watch your vlogs is because you're always so open and vulnerable, and so if I'm having a bad day I find it very comforting to sit in misery together with you even if our situations are totally different. If I wanted unicorns and rainbows I would watch my little ponies or something. :)

I always feel safe in this comment section and reading everyone’s experiences just makes it better, I’m not pregnant it chronically ill with a mystery illness with a lot of the same symptoms 😂 I just appreciate hearing from everyone living different lives with the same struggles 💗

Colleen could blankly stare at the camera for 15 minutes and then shut it off and I would still watch every minute. I’ve watched every single vlog since she started daily vlogging to the point where it’s just routine now. I get home from work, make dinner, sit down and open TH-cam. Also, Colleen, I’m pregnant as well (35 weeks) so I don’t mind all the sad stuff because it’s real and it’s so relatable for me. It’s nice to know I’m not alone!

After trying for 4 years for a baby once we finally got pregnant i was so excited but i had gotten horrible symptoms and i too have felt like all i do is complain. Pregnancy is hard so i totally understand the struggle of feeling so blessed to be pregnant but so over the shitty symptoms so seeing coleen talk about her symptoms and how rough it can be makes me feel so much better because i know im not alone.
The way I’ve learned more about pregnancy and health from colleen’s vlogs than from health class. Don’t worry about complaining sis! Literally I learn so much from your vlogs!

I really appreciate these vlogs about your pregnancy and how real they are. I remember being pregnant and people only talking about the good stuff. I had no one to talk to about the horrific rib pain I was having, the swelling, the sweating, body aches, etc. I remember crying because I woke up with rib pain when I had only gotten it while being active before. Pregnancy wasn’t easy for me sometimes, so this has helped to make me feel less alone in the pain I had. Please keep posting the real and raw. 💗
I’m really glad that there are women now that talk about how difficult pregnancy is. When I have been pregnant I never heard about these things. Especially the mental health part! I was so depressed and didn’t even know. So I am so happy that you talk about it!

I don’t watch your vlogs to make me happy. I watch your vlogs because you’re a real person who isn’t perfect. You show your life, whole. Good and bad, you show it. You show us what it’s like for you to be your own person. Watching you struggle has been an incredible lifeline for me. Not that I’m happy to see anyone struggle but I’m happy to watch your process through your struggles. And I’m happiest to see you come through it every time, even if the relief doesn’t last or isn’t even complete relief you show us that the small moments matter. The little moments of relief, or smiles, or laughter or even just a moment where you aren’t crying. Because relief doesn’t have to come completely or come all at once.
Watching you helps me to not feel alone. Watching you shows me there is someone out there struggling with the normal people stuff too. I struggle with the little easy things that I so often took for granted and it makes me feel so comforted to know that I am not the only one. I am 21 and I have struggled with depression lifelong. A year ago my struggle overtook me past what I was capable of dealing with and I completely crumbled. For months I was lifeless. The last six months I have begun the extremely painful process of standing back up on my own two feet.
Progression isn’t linear. We go up and we go down. But progress is progress is progress. Good or bad. As long as you are moving and working toward something and being as whole as you can be.
You are not alone. Thank you for sharing with all of us.

Your videos have been helping me get back to a normal that I knew before I had my stoke last week. I have been so scared and unsure about everything and just getting use to the fact that my body moves different now and trying to slowly get back to being a mom and I have been clinging to anything that I did before this happened to just feel normal again. So I can start to process what has happened and try to understand what new things are coming in my new normal.
I love your complaints because it’s real, raw and shows the true struggles of pregnancy. I’m also pregnant now and some days suck! Thanks for showing it’s not easy for everyone!

I seriously love these vlogs. I'm only 15 and I've learnt so much. I am healing at the moment as I do have trauma and one thing that has helped me is meditation. I try to meditate twice a day and it helps with my anxiety aswell. So if anyone who is trying to heal or just make your wellbeing and mental health better meditate it's amazing.
Little does she know she makes everyone's day SO much better. Like I'm actually addicted to her vlogs
I'm so glad you read through yesterday's comments. It was a really beautiful thing to see the community you've built just lifting you up, lifting each other up, and just overall being so loving and kind.
