WOW, I have tears in my eyes from watching this. The old saying that it sometimes has to get ugly before it gets better. The car looks awesome. I could hug those Body Men for you. SUPER DUPER congrats to you and your new family. Say a little prayer for us (my son). Quite a few weeks ago a distracted driver clobbered my sons pride and joy BMW on the highway. Body work is winding up and hopefully it should be going to paint this week. He is off from College for a bit so I am doing my best getting all my stuff done as we anxious to bring er' home and start the anticipated detailing. :)
It looks like the paint job went through a flow coating process. That's a very cool restoration teaser, Larry! We cannot wait to see the full episodes!
Rust covered by professionals? With your standards? New paint job ? Your amazing Porsche ? This will be the video of the year. Congratulation on the baby. Thanks fort everything Larry, your content is phenominal. Greetings from Québec, Canada!
What a rollercoaster of emotions. Deep sadness from seeing all of the rust, into inspiration and excitement at the amount of effort and work going into the car, admiration of all of the people that are working on it, and finally happiness and awe at the final product, as well as the sound of it taking off.
Please, please, please Larry: Make the Bodywork-Episodes really long. Just this Video. This is amazing. Unbelievable craftsmanship. Cant wait to see it
Wow.. that is a insane amount of work, skill and craftsmanship. Seeing all the defects under the body must have been a huge surprise for you Larry. Amazing results. Congratulations!!
Yo Larry. I´ve been following you for years now. And i just want to say that i realy love your ability to break thing down so that even someone with limited experience will understand it. I used to work as a detailer 10years ago here i Norway. and got sick and tired of the bussines getting in to only camouflageing defects quickly to make more money. So i started working with something else, and just kept detailig for some friends now and then. But! then i found you video at the rupes factory, And i then i got exited again. I only do it as a hobby. But i must say it is fantastic to get back to the one thing i really see as a meditation. and it feels great again. Thank you for your comitment and eagerness to accomplish more and higher levels of perfect. Best Regards Tomas. Norway
Wow... I'm so jealous... congrats, man! This has got to be something every single classic car owner dreams of doing. Don't leave out a single minute - we'll eat it up!
Science of love :* Give hugs to those guys, because they do magic. Heart grows when you see proper restoration and shiny end result. After this short recap, my day feels better :)
An amazing project and attention to detail. As a german i love to see these guys handle our cultural heritage with knowledge and nice craftsmanship. Keep up the work!
Big congrats bro!!! Perfection perfection perfection. Doing body work for 7 months I definitely understand all the fine detail. The lengths you took this Porsche to is very special! Hats off bro
I ain't gonna lie that was very inspirational. It was very touching to see how the car came in and had a huge rebuild and seeing it now is such a beauty and hand-crafted work. This really motivates me and inspires me to follow my dreams such as getting into a school of automotive and/or going to college and learning more about cars and such which is really helpful for me and hopefully one day work in an autoshop like this or hell maybe even own one,but that's a long way. That's all i really gotta say honestly i love this video so much and it's something I'll always look back to.
Larry! 🙇 Congratulations on the family and the "new" ride. We're all looking forward to many, many hours of new footage and meticulous explanations of this beautiful process.
I can't wait until the videos are out! the 964 looks amazing on camera, i cant imagine how it looks in person. congratulations on finally having it back on the road
Wow, what a amazing restoration of your 964. The attention to detail taken in each and every step of this restoration was first class. The team at J&B Body Works must be amazing to watch, as you can tell they have assembled one hell of a team.
Actually better than the day she came off the production line. Beautiful car, I would actually watch the full Resto in 30 min to an hour increments of course. 👍
Awesome man. I'm 7 months in my 1986 WS6's full rebuilt. Only thing i have left to take care of is the painting. I think in the 8th month it will be finished. Also rebuilt the entire drivetrain, posi diff, engine and made a true full dual stainless exhaust for it. Did it all myself which forced to learn me a lot. Its going to be a really bright red, PPG paint.
First off Congratulations on being a new father again. Been away from the channel for a min. Love the 964, have always been a big fan. Will be looking out for the new videos.
Wow, I was expecting something glorious but this looks to be even better. Glad to see you've got your car back and it's looking better than when it left the factory. Great to see such meticulous care and passion go into such a car, hope you get to pass it on to your son or daughter one day looking just as good as it does now. Love the videos Larry, great inspiration to spend the weekend making my car look as good as it can for what it is. Keep up the good work!

Hi Larry, I'm confused as to what you did to the car besides new wheels, rust removal, headlights, interior work, and paint job. Why was the car taken apart so much to do this?

That's so cool all of the personal touches that have been added from the centre caps to the custom Porsche emblem with the ammo decal! If you're able, please let me know who did your Centre caps for you? I'm looking for a custom set myself from someone who does quality work! I am very much looking forward to the full set of videos.
