Larry- I’ve had to remove more clear bra than maybe anyone else in history while working at a used car dealership. The best trick I’ve found for the adhesive after peeling is to grab an old foam cutting pad, make sure it’s extra clean, and spray some 3M adhesive remover on the glue. Let it set for a bit, then prime your old pad with the adhesive remover as well, and polish the glue right off at a low speed on your Rupes. Give it a try next time you have something like this, but maybe on a lower end car to start with! :)
I pulled off the stripes on my car and what a nightmare getting the adhesive off was. Car paint on hood was a repaint and was off color with the fenders after 10 years of fade. You can see the shadow stripes from UV exposure. I wish I knew this trick.
This has become one of the best, most relaxing channels. Takes me back to my days as a teen doing PDI and new sold car preps at Chevy dealership. Great content, keep it coming!!
I feel this. I was a detailer at the used car side of an Olds / Buick / Cadillac Dealership in the late 80's - early 90's. Did it on the side for some small dealerships after. Haven't detailed in years, but thoroughly enjoy this channel and Larry's enthusiasm.
Hey Larry I just wanted to let you know you have encouraged me to start my own detailing company I’ve ordered almost all of your products I’ve seen almost all of your videos you’ve taught me so much I can’t believe all this information was free.
That porsche is so freaking nice Larry. You guys did a fantastic job freshening it up and I'm sure the owner is overjoyed with the result as much as we are. Nice!
i live in the 717 and saw a new black and red jeep Wrangler that had a "AMMO" front plate, i waved as we passed eachother but im sure it confused the driver. makes me happy to see your business practices are paying off! definitely deserve it Larry!
This must have been special detail knowing you love Porsche’s. You remind me of “Q Branch” state of the art tools and products that you make. A detailer once said. .. “I want my Porsche black” Painter asking…”Which black?” Makes me laugh. Awesome results. Best wishes
Almost bought a 996.1 Carrera s a year ago today and this video comes up. Never regretted not buying my dream car when the possibility was there. Love the videos Specially this one as I can see the passion of not just detailing but also the cars. Glad I stumbled across your channel.
Amazing video! It’s amazing what you can do with not a lot of paint on a car and a polisher! What a huge difference!! Always love watching these videos. Keep up the good work Larry!
That last Driveby of the Ammo Porsche got me. Absolutely amazing exhaust note and reminds me of my Dad's porsche from when I was a kid. Thanks for sharing your craft with us here on TH-cam. I'm a hobbyist detailer for sure (everyone I know tells me I'm crazy for how much time I invest in cleaning my cars), but watching you paint correct and clean is akin to watching an art craft. The care and attention to detail are so interesting to watch and learn from. While other detailers here on TH-cam are going in full strength with drill brushes and steam cleaners, you're teaching that doing only what's needed is also a true art form.
Such a fan of your videos, as a girl who knows absolutely nothing about vehicles but just purchased my first brand new vehicle your inspiring me to continue to try my best at maintaining my own vehicle and trying to keep it as clean as possible!
I have been living with a lower back injury as a part time high level auto detailer, and it's not fun. Hope you can recover quickly. It robs me of the joy I get from detailing and takes the joy out of disc golf and about everything else... I know the feeling, hope you get better soon.
Great job on this piece of history, especially on the clear bra. So much delicate balance required for this detail. I love that the owner uses the car, but I’m glad it’s also getting the care it deserves.
I love these videos. Not only are they awesome and super relaxing to watch I've learned so much, and you have helped change my game when it comes to taking care of my 91' Camaro. Thx for the great content and cheers from the West Coast Canada!
Hey Larry I just bought a whole bunch of your interior car care products they’re supposed to be here by Wednesday but I have learned so much in like the week that I’ve known about your channel on detailing cars thank you so much for putting out all this content. I’ve been able to take what I’ve learned from you and apply it to my car and the difference is absolutely night and day!!!
Just wanted to say: I used a brush on my interior and it's a night and day difference how clean the wheel and things feels. Wiping is just not enough to get the grease and oil off. Thanks Ammo! Also nice to see you getting jacked. Look into getting a massage gun!
Great video and thank you for having Cambell join on board for wellness care much appreciated. Gotta say though detailing is rigorous on our body it definitely beats having a desk job. And really it keeps you fit not just because you have to workout regularly to stay fit while detailing but also the actual work of detailing allows us to stretch and bend and move continuously
God I love the 964, one of those life long dream cars I’ve wanted since I was just a kid. Timeless, beautiful, tactical, vintage perfection 🤌🏼 one day I NEED to own an oak green metallic 964 turbo with the black leather/black plaid interior, on some full matte black BBS RS/paint matched oak green hardware, and some paint matched oak green Porsche brembos peeking out behind those BBS 🤤 I’ve obviously been thinking about my 964 build for quite a while 😂 It’s how obsessed I am with those cars, and just need one in my life. My grandfather had a midnight blue with mahogany interior 964, and all those cruises we went on when I was just a little kid are the only real memories I have with him. He passed when I was still super super young, so there’s definitely some sentimental/nostalgic reasons for the obsession too. Loved this episode a lot man, and you driving down the highway talking about it hitting boost brought back a lot of good/fun memories haha As always the resto detail came out beautifully🤌🏼🔥 stay awesome man 🙌🏼
That looks like the same paint code as my own 964 Turbo - L738 black pearl effect. It looks awesome when polished and freshly waxed, but the slight pearl effect really seems to highlight swirls and scratches. Really nice job on the detailing.
4:38 Is there any issue of using a Steam Cleaner to help clean the Rims? I used it on my aluminum wheels yesterday, and it seems that it worked wonders. Moreover, I spend less product which cost money, and chemicals which are (always) bad for the environment, the surfaces, and myself.
Porsche is fantastic interesting to see the segment about looking after your back I'm off sick with back pain so will have to follow the exercise routine as mine flairs up now and then
Another fantastic video like always, love seeing you behind the wheel! Hope your back feels better! I can't recommend buying a inversion table enough! Mine has helped my back so much!! Looking forward to the next video! - Paul
Cannot wait for these new tools. Larry I suggest making a video just to showcase how little product you actually need to safely and effectively do the job and. May seem silly but many people see the price for the amount they receive and don't realize how many washes they will actually get from each bottle or how versatile your line is .
I laughed so hard at that last part, "Officer... I went fast, because it was raining out... and I didn't want it to get wet." xD It's also nice and refreshing to see when a pro detailer takes the car out for a ride and enjoy some time on the road after finishing his work. Really nice video.
That "weird brown grease" is a protective coating that is all over all those old Porsche's from new. It was applied for their boat ride from Germany to mitigate corrosion
Love the 964 engine so good! Drove a luminous yellow carrera 4 convertible with luminous yellow cup wheels and bright red interior, apparently an ex motor show car. Fell in love with it straight away. Amazing amazing! Want to get one now!
Just an observation Larry, when watchmakers take the hands off a watch face they put a piece of clear plastic over the hands first to protect the face. This may be handy next time you have to remove a broken badge pin. Love the channel btw!
Larry, I can agree with the legendary older smell, I have a 98’ 986 with the scarlet red interior color. when i do get interior smell, i try to match as close as possible. LOL!

You've removed more bras than I've ever seen 🤣
Wd40 works well on adhesive on paintwork also
Or on anything for that matter
@@PACKERMAN2077 only the clear kind ;)
I remember this guy almost 15 years ago on a car podcast with Matt Farah. Then he left the podcast to start his company. Congrats on your success sir!
nah like i physically need a black 964 turbo, hands down the most beautiful production car of all time
The interior and exterior of the 964 seems timeless
Naa, it’s old
It's amazing that the 964 was so unloved for so long. It looks better every year to me.
When you see the number 3 on a paint depth gauge, but Dan and Larry are doing the detail! Crazy skills guys! 👍
This has become one of the best, most relaxing channels. Takes me back to my days as a teen doing PDI and new sold car preps at Chevy dealership. Great content, keep it coming!!

😂 I’m living it, 18 and a lot attendant at a LUMs Buick GMC dealership
I like how this episode is brought to you by raising funds for someone else.
You're a class act Larry. I mean it.
Sorry to hear about your injury, good luck with the rehab. Slow & steady.
Nice of you to support the detailer in the UK. Donated some money to the cause! Hope he’s able to get back up and running soon. 🙏🏼
Very kind thank you!

Your videos are brilliant but you are also a very kind hearted person 🙏 reaching out to help others..
🏎🇬🇧
The sound from the 964 sound like an ice cream truck, you know what car it is even when you can’t see it 😂
Larry you legend. Fair play for the shout out at the start of the video... quality content as ever of course :)
I have seen a lot of car detailing on you tube , I love your show because I saw your NY RANGERS plaque ,now I'm loyal to your show alone.
Huge respect to you for the appeal to support Nick at NT Detailing.
Keep up the good work.
You can really see how much Larry loves his Porsche. The look in his eyes when he did that pull. Sheeesh
I love it when Larry spends more time cleaning a wheel well then I spend washing my car.
That porsche is so freaking nice Larry. You guys did a fantastic job freshening it up and I'm sure the owner is overjoyed with the result as much as we are. Nice!

Massive props to this person for driving the car...
It only has 24kmi so hasn’t been driven much
I love it when you said drive faster so the rain doesn't bead on it and then you rip🔥🔥🔥

A gym and a detail shop ..heaven for me
Amazing video! It’s amazing what you can do with not a lot of paint on a car and a polisher! What a huge difference!! Always love watching these videos. Keep up the good work Larry!
You have inspired me back in February to start detailing its May now I’m 15 and working my ass off and I watch you a lot.
The sound of Air-cooled Porsche's is just superb. That classic "angry rowl" is just superb.

Both the Porsche's sound absolutely amazing😍😍
Amazing video Larry!! We need to do a photo shoot of our two cars!!
I’m absolutely loving this content. I’ve always wanted to be a high end detailer and this is an awesome look into that world.
Such a fan of your videos, as a girl who knows absolutely nothing about vehicles but just purchased my first brand new vehicle your inspiring me to continue to try my best at maintaining my own vehicle and trying to keep it as clean as possible!
I saw the RUF Front Lip, nice touch!

Wow! That woolie looks like the perfect size! Probably has a great personality too!
Larry, I really appreciate you removing the tiny rock. My god your attention to detail never ceases to amaze me
I been watching ammo nyc for a couple years now but honestly I never seen the 24:29 side of Larry was good to see. Keep it 💯

Man, this channel just brings out calm feelings watching and learning, got me goin to detail a car rn!!!
Seeing Larry's face light up when that boost kicks in or when he floors his own Porche - that's what you want as a car enthusiast.
Larry showing us once more you can have a good looking car that you can actually drive. Drive + Protect baby!
