I'd love to see the routing through the big trash corridor between the 2nd and 3rd bosses as there are a number of optional trash pulls you can combine together etc. I also think that pending some bug fixes to the Kael'thas fight he'd be an interesting Tyrannical boss.
As a whole, its a pretty linear dungeon, so that's a point against it. Also, the first 2 bosses are pretty boring and the 3rd boss would be unlike anything we've ever seen in M+ before. I don't think its a bad candidate for M+, just that there are other dungeons that would do it better.
Stormstout Brewery is probably my favorite dungeon due to nostalgia and the theme of the dungeon. But MoP was probably my favorite expansion tied with Legion so I have fond memories of a lot of it.
Agreed, Mists of Pandaria is my favorite expansion when it comes to dungeons. Everything about them is appealing from the aesthetics to the music to the storylines.

They should include classic dungeons in timewalking, not just mythic plus, but regular timewalking, so EVERYBODY can experience them! Cata heroic Deadmines, UBRS, LBRS, but also, bring back some of the original versions, like original UBRS, Original Scholomance, also include Stratholme both sides... I'd say og Sunken Temple... but that dungeon is way too complicated for most people, and i know most players would insta-leave if they get it in their random que... There are so many great vanilla dungeons that people playing today had never done because they are unnecessary when leveling, or only know the new versions... also, the fact that fights such as Vaness VanCleef can only be done in heroic mode, which noone does, and honestly, why would, because you gotta hit lvl.. hell i dont even know what level u need now to do it, and when u get to that level, the next expac opens up anyway... seriously... leveling up is so fucked up with the shrinking of levels... i can't make sense of how new players will get to know any of the game because is all just such a mess.... if u are new you get sent straight to bfa i think? Man this turned into a rant... i'm sorry....
Classic Scarlet dungeons, hands down some of the best dungeons imo, I loved them so much as well as BRD since going through Shadowforge city is just so cool.
Hell yeah, I love End time. Would love for them to feature all bosses, making it fair and have a baseline for gearing and loot tables. Also, I want my axe of tauren chieftains
The mechanics of dungeons in MoP and WoD would work well in M+ with minimal changes, but I do think Blizz would have to spend additional time retuning and redesigning content from Cata and before. I'd still love to see them do it though.
I would love to see SFK and Zul’Aman to be mythic as well. Especially Zul’Aman, that we can complete it and get another mythic Armani bear perhaps. That would be a worthy challenge
This is some very well chosen dungeons! I appreciate the effort you put into the video by doing the research about all of these dungeons and what would make them great for m+ Very solid video as always! For what dungeon I'd like to see as a m+ the most would be magisters' terrace.
Maybe it's the mindset of retail players, but I'd kill for a mythic plus version of Blackrock Depths if I was still playing live. As someone who has been playing classic for the past 8 or so months after a 7-year break from WoW and who just ran BRD for the first time twice yesterday with two full clears and still 6 quest to complete, the unbutchered version of that place is amazing. Is it long? Yes it's long as hell, but it doesn't feel like it, especially when you have a good group. It felt like we were reapplying 30 min buffs every 10 minutes because time was was going by so fast. At the end of the run I didn't feel like I had been in a dungeon for 2 or 3 hours at all
I think, Undead Stratholme would make a good M+. The ziggurats can be done in any order, and it was also designed to have a timer. Back in Vanilla, Rivendare had a hostage that he would execute if the players weren’t fast enough, so converting that to M+ shouldn’t be too hard. The instance itself isn’t that large either, so a wipe wouldn’t be any more terrible than any of the dungeons mentioned on your list. Plus, they could update Rivendare’s Deathcharger, giving players more of a reason to run that dungeon.
I will never understand the fun in rushing dungeons. Coördination, mechanics and playing together are fun. The timers and go-go-go mentality just ruin it completely.
I am Missing Pit of saron. Three cool Bosses with challenging mechanics. Possibility to Change Boss Order for First two Bosses / different Routes. Hard Trashpacks. Little Tunnel Event. Even heal mechanics at the Endboss :) would Love to See that one in m+
As someone who only plays the game a handful of times every few years post lich king, Stormstout brewery has always upset me lol - I can't help but feel old by shaking my head and saying 'not my wow' everytime I go through it haha
Regular timewalking dungeons are wipefests because people think they can just charge through them without worrying about fight mechanics, like they can in current dungeons where everyone is decked out in epic gear. Mythic players at least will expect to have to know the dungeon.
When I level a character, I always skip dungeoning through pandaria, done those dungeons just too many times and honestly, compared to many others, they arent as fun. Wrath: Pit of Saron(!), Utgarde Keep/Pinnacle, Azjol Nerub, Ahn Kahet Wod: Iron Docks, Grimrail Depot, even Skyreach could be cool + the ones you mentioned. Completely agree with your cata + tbc picks.
Most of the dungeons in Wrath can be an m+ candidate. Pit of Saron makes me laugh every time it is in the rotation. Seeing all the people not understand the mechanics is awesome.

Man, some of these older dungeons would be so cool with recent class abilities like Binding Shot, or DH tanks jumping across the room to kite some bosses to make them a little easier for a bit. I really wish they would use old dungeons like this. I think other dungeons that would be cool to add to a list like this would be The Deadmines, Shadow Labs and Magister's Terrace (with a few adjustments to reduce scripted events and slabs specifically reducing the amount of trash needed to kill in Blackheart's room), Utgarde Pinnacle, and Skyreach. Some would be a little more frustrating but I still think they would be fun. And non of the dungeons mentioned in the video or on my short list contain anything as time-wasting as carrying two orbs across a gauntlet with mobs that steal it from you.

For Bloodmaul Slag Mines, you did not mention Croman, and that he would help with the final boss if you choose to free him... That would be fun if he was a real help in the Mythic version...
I remember having a lot of trouble in MoP in Stormstout Brewery, I hated it so much. I’d be glad to see any Cataclysm dungeons tho, those were awesome, Halls of Origination would be problematic tho.

Personally, I think that Grimrail Depot would be my top pick without a doubt. It's linear, unique, and has some of the best visuals and thematic exploration of any dungeon in the game in my opinion.
i remember Stonecore :) i always try to mark those watcher mob that walk around who can summon a whole room of adds if not killed quickly in the room right before the 3rd boss xD
And tanks can get yelled at by the dps for not doing there specific route Bad enough when tanks get yelled at for not running around and grabbing all the powers before killing the first boss in DOS
Even though Temple of the Jade Serpent was a flop, let's see if they could do it better with Everbloom, nice wishlist/predictions so far! I would love to see End Time as a M+
I always liked the 3 up in tnc netherstorm. The mechanar, botanica and alcatraz. They were fun when they came out, so maybe a mythic reboot would be fun for them
Players hated Gate of the Setting Sun. Most Players hated most if not all of Pandaria's 5-man dungeons for having too much talking/cut-scenes that prevented the dungeon from progressing.
what would be actually good is if all older dungeons were available for timewalking, not to queue into, but u had to fly to the locations. would make the world full again or feel it at least.
I really wish that blizzard would take old content and “remaster” it so that we can all experience them as they were… and it’s so much content that’s just wasted for no reason
@@Ziosove nah, I assume that best dungeons in the game should me in that m+ TW with exceptions mentioned in this video, I would not enjoy Siege of Boralus in any way, no no.

When I do BRD (Blackrock Depths), I ask the group to link their quests so I can mentally calculate the best, fastest route... ...but now that I think about it... that job would probably be better performed by an addon... ...that not only checks your quests, but also your gear & compares it to the loot that the bosses drop. ...then the addon could automatically calculate the best, fastest route :P
Siege of Nizau Temple could be fun with the ooze buff but I guess either it would be too easy if the timer didn't assume players would stack that or would make every run die if you wiped on the first boss if it did. It does have some RP but you can skip a lot of it with the gong now.
I just want classic scarlet monastery to return.....and make Cathedral Mythic. The absolute sheer fear of over pulling in that dungeon back in the day......so good
I would say a simle way to make the old vanilla dungeons into mythic plus would be to do the same thing they did for mega dungeons such as tazevesh, split them up.
Welp, almost 2 years later and we got jade serpent's and everbloom m+. Let's see if we get anything else from this video. Would love to see them make Scarlet Monastery into m+ personally.
Only problem with some older dungeons like WOTLK or TBC is that the bosses don't have much mechanically going on, meaning it leads to some really easy gear
I LOVE doing Pandaria dungeons on alts during time-walking event. They are short and nice looking (also a beautiful music). I'm sorry, but for me personally, adding Keys will be the best way to start hating these dungeons. =|
you can "timewalk" akk as dps by running cata cromie time and que for classic as if it dose not pop in 5 min your get the option to add everything from classic to legion no matter your lvl .
shadowmoon burial grounds, upper blackrock spire, Grimrail depot, cata deadmines, the blood furnace, Azjol- Nerub, Pit of Saron. possibly auchidon as the rp is still less time waste than running back in DoS just my 2 cents on what lacked in this video.
Blizzard should find a way to integrate every raid into the game. A sort of combination of SoM and retail where hardcore guilds would be competing every month to clear an old raid and a new raid which would leave us with a lot of content every month
How about a new game where hardcore guilds can create their own raids (when they're bored)... That right there would cater to both hardcore players as well as casual players: No need to grind or level-up or prepare for raids... Just queue up (with friends or solo) and pick your role/class and get a completely _RANDOM RAID_ !!! ...oh god... but then you couldn't just look up & be spoon-fed the strats... _YOU'D ACTUALLY HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT FOR YOURSELVES !!! Admittedly, you'd probably also want a sort of "Proving Grounds" where players could both learn the class & then pass a test to unlock it. ...ya know... so you don't have players selecting classes & roles that they have no clue how to play, lol.

In any form that is not properly dumbed down it means alot of players would be left out and crying.
For Bloodmaul Slag Mines, you did not mention Croman, and that he would help with the final boss if you choose to free him... That would be fun if he was a real help in the Mythic version...
ah, Temple of the Jade Serpent. I still hear "Spring to life!" when Im fighting near rivers/fountains even all these years later
I trink they should do something with deadmines , the cata Version is so cool
The first 5: I can see exactly why and you make great points. But I really would hate all of them lol.
I remember having a lot of trouble in MoP in Stormstout Brewery, I hated it so much. I’d be glad to see any Cataclysm dungeons tho, those were awesome, Halls of Origination would be problematic tho.
Not sure if you've done it already but I'd love to see a video about the old MoP scenarios, I feel like a lot of people forgot about them and I have fond memories of running thru them with friends, and even getting "the Scenaturdist" title that I don't ever see other people using.
Personally, I think that Grimrail Depot would be my top pick without a doubt. It's linear, unique, and has some of the best visuals and thematic exploration of any dungeon in the game in my opinion.
Id be happy just to see the older dungeons used again
i remember Stonecore :) i always try to mark those watcher mob that walk around who can summon a whole room of adds if not killed quickly in the room right before the 3rd boss xD
BRD - but you only need to kill last boss, but door to him only opens if you kill 5? other bosses. Routes can get wild :D
And tanks can get yelled at by the dps for not doing there specific route
Bad enough when tanks get yelled at for not running around and grabbing all the powers before killing the first boss in DOS
Would love to see classic SM cath or armory be a mythic
SM wings have too few bosses for M+, unfortunately
Ramps was awesome, would be a good one for sure
what would be actually good is if all older dungeons were available for timewalking, not to queue into, but u had to fly to the locations. would make the world full again or feel it at least.
This 100% make every dungeon time walking activated by the stone. I’d return to retail wow if they implemented that
Love your content bro
Crazy how the number of dungeons per expansion halved in only a few years
I really wish that blizzard would take old content and “remaster” it so that we can all experience them as they were… and it’s so much content that’s just wasted for no reason
Mechagon was awesome, it should be also included in that "what if m+ timewalking"
Mechagon is a m+ dungeon, i think you assume automatically that every Bfa dungeon will be time walking m+ eventually
@@Ziosove nah, I assume that best dungeons in the game should me in that m+ TW with exceptions mentioned in this video, I would not enjoy Siege of Boralus in any way, no no.
@@avinion that's not what I meant. I mean in tw m+ you don't assume dungeons that you know are gomma be brought back anyways, but instead dungeons who never had a m+ mode to begin with
When I do BRD (Blackrock Depths), I ask the group to link their quests so I can mentally calculate the best, fastest route...
...but now that I think about it... that job would probably be better performed by an addon...
...that not only checks your quests, but also your gear & compares it to the loot that the bosses drop.
...then the addon could automatically calculate the best, fastest route :P
Siege of Nizau Temple could be fun with the ooze buff but I guess either it would be too easy if the timer didn't assume players would stack that or would make every run die if you wiped on the first boss if it did. It does have some RP but you can skip a lot of it with the gong now.
Temple of the Jade Serpent got to be a M+ and I'm very happy about it.
I just want classic scarlet monastery to return.....and make Cathedral Mythic. The absolute sheer fear of over pulling in that dungeon back in the day......so good
That would be so sick... BLIZZ ? Just need to be a ladder for the timewalking dungeon and reward then the game got infinite high end content.
I would say a simle way to make the old vanilla dungeons into mythic plus would be to do the same thing they did for mega dungeons such as tazevesh, split them up.
"Some old dungeons are too long for M+"
*laughs in ascension WoW*
Coomer detected
As someone who is currently playing MoP Remix... the gate of the setting sun can p off
the Cataclysm well of eternity would be lots of fun
I may be weird but my favorite dungeons are BRD and BRS. I love the maze and the adventure in the dungeons in stead og a straight forward experience
kl zag
Welp, almost 2 years later and we got jade serpent's and everbloom m+.
Let's see if we get anything else from this video.
Would love to see them make Scarlet Monastery into m+ personally.
Halls of origination from cata was so cool 😎
Pit of Saron, Halls of Reflection, Uldaman, Halls of Origination. to name a few
Every cata dung should be m+ exept fkin grim batol.... hate that sht :D I think cata dungeons were the best blizzard ever did.
Only problem with some older dungeons like WOTLK or TBC is that the bosses don't have much mechanically going on, meaning it leads to some really easy gear
Small correction, Hiruma. The FelOrcs were part of the Illidari, not the Legion.
Funny that you mention uldaman as too long to be reworked but it did this expansion pack.
Shadowlabs
Draktharin Keep
Cata deadmines and SFK
Blackrock Caverns
Cata ZG+ZA
Oh, and saying the RP in the brewery - STILL better than the 35 second flight in SOA to the last boss.
shadowmoon burial grounds, upper blackrock spire, Grimrail depot, cata deadmines, the blood furnace, Azjol- Nerub, Pit of Saron. possibly auchidon as the rp is still less time waste than running back in DoS
just my 2 cents on what lacked in this video.
Hiru: "Big AoE pulls would be fun!"
Blizzard: AoE caps
No spec is 100% capped at all
Blizzard should find a way to integrate every raid into the game. A sort of combination of SoM and retail where hardcore guilds would be competing every month to clear an old raid and a new raid which would leave us with a lot of content every month
How about a new game where hardcore guilds can create their own raids (when they're bored)... That right there would cater to both hardcore players as well as casual players:
No need to grind or level-up or prepare for raids...
