    I usually watch all of your videos on my big screen TV, so I can't make comments as I watch. I can click the thumbs up, but that it. So, I decided to get on my computer today and jot a note of thanks. I love all of your quilts, period! You and Matt got me through 2020-23: Covid, loss my husband of 39 years, and caring for my 106.6 mother. Your channel stays on at my house. I watch and listen and absorbs all your tips and designs. Oh, I have so much fabric, but I keep buying more. I'm getting back into the groove and plan on finishing some of my projects. Thanks again for being the best Fabric Store, and Quilting College.

    Donna, man, when you were showing the jelly roll set, my first thought was yuck. This is why I watch your tutorials, because the quilt top turned out beautiful! It is very nicely balanced with the gray in it. But I nailed the thread color for quilting! Thanks for another wonderful video, hope you and your Family have a wonderful weekend and Matt has a great Father's Day!

    One of the great parent pleasures is waking up before the kids so that I can have a peaceful coffee. The pleasure is multiplied when there is also a new video from Donna to enjoy with the coffee. 😊

    Unpopular opinion I know, but batiks really aren't my thing, so it was great to see some printed fabric in a tutorial! :) Thanks Donna!

      Batiks smell bad. Ugh. I have made a couple of quilts with them and washed them, but they are still stinkers.

      I'm not crazy about them either...but they press good.

      I only like them for background or backing. I love a good print.

      @LovebirdLaneMakes I agree. Batiks are not my favorite either. They have their positive side, but all-in-all, I seem to choose a nice print. It’s nice to see I’m not alone in my thoughts or feelings! Happy sewing 🧵🪡!

    I would like to know when you started sewing and what got you in to quilting. Did you do garments or has it always been quilts?
    You make every pattern seem so easy and attainable for the rest of us. I enjoy your tutorials so much I watch them over and over again, they are so relaxing to watch.

    I'm planning a baby quilt for my niece (only niece and first baby). I want a quilt that is traditional but has a more modern look. I want it to be baby but again more modern. I see red hearts in the blocks between the stars. I think this pattern is it. In shades of pinks and the little 'hearts' will be a bolder pink. Now on to the fabrics.

      @judyking1575 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That ruler can also be used for squaring half square triangles. Use it exactly like the one that Jenny Doan uses in her videos. I just finished a quilt top with huge stars and I used the strip tube ruler to square to 6". It worked like a charm. I hope you have many good experiences using the ruler.

    Good afternoon Donna and "all" the Jordan family, I've never tried doing this star before Donna because i have a hard job with hst, but your trick with the strip tube ruler just might be my saving grace. I love the duo colour of the spinning star, it really makes it look as if it is moving on the quilt. This quilt makes me think of my childhood game of Snakes and Ladders, only it would be called Ladders and Stars, hee, hee. I hope that other people see this, but there again it could just be my over active imagination working overtime once more. Thank you flower for yet another wonderful tutorial that showed how easy it would be for even the more challenged of us. Crafty hugs from Norah, Glenochil, Scotland
