Trip around the world was my first quilt at age 21, I am currently trying to patch it up as it has gone through 4 kids as a favorite blanket.

At first when I saw the fabrics I didn’t think these colors would work but after seeing it made I was amazed!!! Lol!!! I have a little game that I do at the end I try to pick out the thread choice and sometimes I do it!!! I love this pattern

Good morning Donna and all at Jordan's, I bought the Twirling Stars pattern from you a couple of months ago flower and now have the fabric in that i can make it. I love the beautiful fabrics that you have used, they are lovely and calming to look at and don't shout out "look at me" like Kaffe's fabrics, which i know is one of your favourite fabric designers, but that is why we mix so well in this world because we are all so different.
Your giveaway i fell in love with when Matt and you showed how to hand tie a quilt and i think that it actually suits this style of quilt the best, but that's just me. This was around the first video i watched that made me want to learn how to quilt, with your tremendous skill, teaching ways and the softness and calming voice that makes you just want to keep watching your videos and how i wish you did them more in the week. I know that it is being greedy and impossible but that's why we have TH-cam and repeats ;D I am determined that i am going to make this quilt soon because it is GORGEOUS and i love it.

I think this is the first time I’m not taken by the fabric combination, I would love to see it done in reverse but with a dark with a light centre fabric and a light with dark centre. Love the floral top machine stitching. Thanks for sharing as always 👍❤️😊
I have to agree. I normally like her fabric selection better than the fabric used by the pattern makers, but this one missed the mark.
I have the pattern and my fabrics chosen for this quilt. I know I don't like the light with the light center, but I can't decide if you're right Carmen or I should make both of the stars dark with light centers.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to make someone question what they want. I just personally found the overall quilt too light in colour for me.

I 💕 love these 5 one-yard quilt designs, such inventive use of HST’s and colour placement makes all the difference! (Although if I made one, I would *definitely* add an off-white stop border before sewing on the outer border… just to give the eye somewhere to rest. But these colours Donna used today are right up my alley. Very romantic!). Thanks for another wonderful tutorial video, Jordan Fabrics team!
