I have been 2019 on an epic once in my life time trip with my 82 years old dad. I did not own a single drone these days. Now I could bring a full bag of them. A single drone aerial shot would certainly not have made my trip better. The hassle with all that expensive, fragile stuff would have take the experience out of my trip. I hope you had a great time with your brother. I did not miss your shots at all.
All 3 of you brothers look like triplets 😆. I like this video because you still created something even if it didn't go the way you expect it to. Sometimes its not abut having the perfect project, its about enjoying the experience and the little things along the journey. Thanks for sharing.

I feel like more creators need to share these kinds of videos. We always get to see the epic, successful trips but never these "failures." While you didn't get the FPV footage you wanted, I have to say that the footage you did get from your Sony and whichever traditional drone you used was awesome. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing Teppo. Appreciate. The fact that your showing the successes and the failures. We’ve all been there and thing don’t always go according to plan. Breathtaking location though in hat last AVATA attempt. That valley looked like a painting someone created in their mind. If it makes you feel any better I lost two FPVs in one trip (and GoPros attached)…yeah, that one stung a little! 🐝 🐝 🐝 😂😂

Currently in Iceland on a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Day 2 I crashed and lost my Mini 3 Pro. To say I was heartbroken is an understatement. Even though I keep seeing sights that would make AMAZING drone photos, I'm keeping my head up and remembering that I'm on an amazing trip with my wife, and things could certainly be much worse.
Ah man Im so sorry to hear that Jakub. How did you crash it? Wind took over? And totally agree, enjoy it with your wife. You'll have memory dividends for life. Theres always new opportunities to film stuff.

The same kind of problems happened to me when I was in Iceland as well. Constant rain and wind, and once when I tried to touch down my drone, the wind hits and it crashed to ground. I'm glad there wasn't any problems in my drone though. Next time brother.
There are no disappointments when you make a fun and entertaining video like this one.

Its been awhile, ive been busy. Hope all is well with you Teppo and it wasn't a lunch break video for me today but a end of work day video. I still havn't tried a FPV drone but really want to soon and DJI making it easier for us consumer level flyers I am happy to see!

Ahhh FPV life, sometimes goes smooth, sometimes it can be disaster. I would ditch the AVATA though there are far better quads to fly. Good video!

I think it's for the better. The Avata has really bad signal around mountains and canyons. Losing line of sight can cause a disconnect

I tried high precision racing drones in 2016 and they made me nauseous, I couldn’t stand with googles while flying. Wonder if you have tried both and is Avanta as bad? I have Mavic 3 Pro and just ordered mini 4 pro.
