I'm originaly from Texel and my old mom still lives there.. My advice will be.. Go in may.. Later in summer it's overcrowded by German tourists. July and August are the warmest month's here but if you like nature and tranquility you better go more early.
Texel is amazing! I was living in Den Helder last year and came to Texel twice, it’s very beautiful and big. It also has 2 nudist beaches :) Once I missed the last ferry and got stuck on the island but good people helped me and offered me a place to spend the night.
