This country is beautiful. The capital city is full of charm. It has canals, museums, parks. The buildings are only three to four stories high. The compact and dense buildings with canals make the city green, livable, walkable. Love it.

I Adore Netherlands. Have visited many times. The Dutch National Forest has incredibly diverse nature AND, the Kroller-Mueler Gallery and Sculpture Gardens. One of the Greatest private collections I've ever seen, which includes a few. Norton Gallery, Shreveport, LA is worth a stop.

I have visited the Netherlands many times in recent years and I would love to be able to live there. I don't know what it is in NL that makes it so attractive, but whatever it is it puts itself on a different planet to the UK. Maybe they welcome democratic discipline and concerns relating to the country and its welfare rather than the individual selfishness that appears so apparent in the UK. Anyway, my observations are that we are missing a very important trick.
There are a lot of beautiful places missing in this video. I live in Canada but was born in the Netherlands and lived there the first 25 years of my life.

Holland, however, has a lot to offer outside of its city. With its network of canals, the country's flat terrain is ideal for cycling and is dotted with charming old towns and traditional windmills. The flower gardens transform into popular tourist destinations in the spring, offering a striking display of vibrant colors.
