I love it when digimon make references to other digimon. Gloomgreymon is such a great example of this. Like imagining it stole the weapons for other greymon is really creative
Snapdramon is SUCH a neat design and honestly a neat parallel. We already have the Lillimon and Lilamon parallels, and the Rosemon and Lotusmon parallels, but now a third! Snapdramon is based after delinquent girls, just like BanchoLillimon! It’s really interesting to see the different directions they went in though. Definitely my favorite of the designs presented here
It even fits with the counterpart line of Palmon. Let's face it Lilamon is just "Let's do Lillymon again" and Lillymon has her very own Bancho Version so these 2 could actually work really well as Rival Leaders of 2 Delinquent Digimon Groups.
Snapdramon and JinroGaogamon are deffinetly my favorites, mainly due to lore implications and awesome design. I see Snapdramon being a rival to BanchoLilymon and JinroGaogamon being a sort of herald of destruction. And besides we really don't have that many "evil" looking digimon designs
My first thought for a corrupted chess piece is to have them be based on tyrants, like kingchessmon becomes tyrantchessmon, who basically completely controls other weaker chessmon to serve them, making them die in his name. IDK what the dark queenchessmon would be though.
Or could go with something like Martichessmon for the evil Queenchessmon, being both a play on matron and martinet. A martinet being: a strict disciplinarian, especially in the armed forces

With the pawnchessmon you could do a dark turn by how in chess you put all the pieces to the side when taken out. Using the leftover data from either fallen comrades to bring in a dark lord or dark empress set out on a powertrip using the pawns to get what the desire through greed and unwanted desires. Or zombie like fall chess pieces

I always figured the point of ruin mode for the burst form was the failed burst was slowly killing the digimon which is why shinegreymon ruin mode had grey smoke it was burning from the inside out. Though I love the dark evolutions

I think Vanagandrmon looks super sick prolly my favorite design, GloomGreymon looks super badarse like the Yin and Yang to ShineGreymon as it was intended. Carrionmon is very good too name is on point looking line a Skeksis from The Dark Crystal and vulture like would feed on carrion. Snapdramon is on point being a Venus Fly Trap influence with a hot Punker Femme Fatale and believe me they constantly cross paths with me being a Punker and Metalhead myself. JinroGaogamon I like how there is a callback to the regular Champion Stage Gaogamon and the utilization of the Digital Hazard. You should do one of these for Ghost Game for Angoramon and Jellymon maybe GulusGammamon having a complete line!!!

One of the Gizmon gained freewill and went into hiding to escape being deleted, where it then found the remnant of Yggdrasil's data, feeding off of it for years. After the ending, the now Gizmon 2K attempts to do what his creator failed to achieve, conquer the world. With a legion of mindless Gizmon drones, it attacks both the human and Digital worlds, causing DATS to reunite. Masaru and Toma try to defeat Gizmon 2K, but even with Burst Mode, Shinegreymon and Miragegaogamon are no match to it. Not giving up, Masaru and Toma combine their Digi-souls, causing their partners to fuse into Glorymon, who proceeds to wipe the floor with Gizmon 2K. Gizmon 2K basically goes "If I can't have the world, no one can!" And uses all its power to unleash an attack that'll wipe out both worlds. Glorymon doesn't have the power to stop from destroying at least 1 world, but then Masaru and Toma activate a DOUBLE BURST MODE, unleashing Glorymon Burst Mode who has more than enough strength to nullify and destroy Gizmon 2k with his signature attack.
These are awesome DARK Digivolutions for the Data Squad characters! Their burst modes are awesome, too! I love all of them, but my favorites are Snapdramon, Carrionmon, Vanagandrmon (who looks like a death hound or hell hound), Jinrogaogamon and Gloomgreymon. The descriptions you gave for them are perfect for them.
Once again these artists are killing it, especially love Carrionmon and Snapdramon!! Can't wait to hopefully see some corrupted Xros Wars evolutions and maybe even Ghost Games ones!
I love JinroGaogamon, it can be the beast equivalent to Megidramon being a Dark Beast of the End that when it shows up will bring ragnarok to the Digital World. Imagine a jogress with JinroGaogomon and Megidramon (even just MirageGaogomon and Gallantmon and their black Variants). But I feel like the design can go further by making it look more feral like having dark miasma foaming at its mouth and maybe just calling it Jinromon or even Rabidmon.
Love this idea! Something I’ve always wondered is what Lotusmon Burst Mode might look like since that was Lalamon’s original level six. But that’s probably not enough to do a whole video on.
It really is weird we don't have a virus version of risegreymon, so I definitely appreciate the doom counterpart here. But gizmon 2K has to be my favorite, advancing so far that it corrupts king draisle is an amazing concept that makes sense and would be epic!

I would also have liked to see Miragegaogamon fighting Gallantmon and even see what would happen if they both collided by mistake during the fight their digital hazard symbols...

Honestly more surprised you didn't try to reimagine Ruin Mode or gave Cooler Ruin Modes to these New Dark Mega forms. With Kamemon's Dark Mega getting one, I could see the others getting them. Though perhaps that wouldn't work with the limited budget. Though if there's anything I really wanna see next, it's Mega/Z Spirit Forms for the other Legendary Warriors. EmperorGreymon and MagnaGarurumon should no longer be the only ones!
As a savers fanboy I must say this was interesting but also I must say Ruin Mode is a version of dark evolution I love. Less that it is a evil mega or ultimate and more that it is burst mode corrupted by feelings of rage and anger. Especially since it's a warning form for Marcus to try not to awaken but enviably does. I did like how with this season and frontier both tried to step away from the Skull Greymon type story (probably cause Tamers did it the best) and did their own focusing on their own mechanics like Beast Evolutions difficulty to control for humans or Burst Mode being a power that must be accessed by positive emotions with your partner instead of negative or risk turning to ruin. Also the Gizumon idea is so good here and I love it!
Gizmon 2K looks so sick! I can totally see it as the final boss of a Digimon Story game, as well as an alternate antagonist for Savers. Really a brilliant idea.

If Karn does more custom evolutions for 02 ultimate and mega forms maybe he could do dark evolutions for them. Maybe the lore behind them was the kids were able to achieve evolutions without needing to DNA digivolve but something corrupted the process turning them into the custom designs.

hey, here's what might have happened in another digimon data squad movie: kurata survives the explosion and ends up somewhere in the digiworld, and finding an abandoned fragment of yggdrasil and returning to the real world recruits rogue hackers, to create an army of gizmons (one of them being 2k) to continue your plans. however the 2k gizmon gains will and ego of its own, and upon seeing yggdrasil's memories of what kurata did to the other digimons using his own kind, he with a similar hatred to keena (albeit a more intense version) towards kurata, if revolt against him and take control of all the other gizmons starts a kind of genocidal campaign, to exterminate all humans and conquers the real world for yggdrasil (although he doesn't want to) rule it, as he apparently has become a fanatical worshiper (also deluded) of yggdrasil.

it would be interesting if any Fictional characters Digimon Partners had custom Armor forms, DNA Digivolution, Biomerge forms, and Dark Digivolutions, and crossover mode Changes like Monitormon(Alisa) and Ginryumon (Lars) DNA Digivolve or Dr Strange having a Dark Digivolution with Wisemon based on Strange Supreme, or Yugi Moto Biomerging with Harrismon to create a form based on Dark Paladin or Thor Biomerging with Elecmon to create an an AllFatner themed Digimon

an idea for Fusion/Xros since darkness loaders exist as well as darkvolumon for ballistamon maybe a possible dark Xros or corrupted evo like a omniShoutmon but instead of omega its like AlphaShoutmon just to throw ideas
Once again, I'm suggesting Jogress/DNA Digivolutions of Digimon from different seasons/series in the Digimon franchise; in the prior comment I made the suggestion in, I gave the example of Guilemon and Gaomon Jogressing because they share having the Digital Hazard symbol in their Ultimate/Perfect Level stage.
I found out that in one Digimon game there is this girl named Rina who beats up a mega level Digimon. Maybe a video on the strongest human in the Digimon World would be interesting. Markus or his dad would likely make to the list since their Digisoul are at Mega Level. Then you have Kurata's henchmen who can also beat up Digimon before Digivolving.

Queenchessmon and kingchessmon could turn into the queen of hearts and king of hearts from Alice in wonderland. The dark evolution of Queenchessmon become a tyrannical ruler that use a axe to remove the head of it victim and Kingchessmon being a pushover that agrees to anything that Queen want to make her happy.
Really love these and you spoil us man. I think the RizeGreymon one is the weakest for me. Definitely love Lilamon's, Chirinmon's and MachGaogamon's the most. I wonder what Ghost Game DARK Digivolutions would look like as I don't think the series will tread on it outside of GulusGammamon which is a shame as it has the potential to give everyone one.

As a savers fanboy I must say this was interesting but also I must say Ruin Mode is a version of dark evolution I love. Less that it is a evil mega or ultimate and more that it is burst mode corrupted by feelings of rage and anger. Especially since it's a warning form for Marcus to try not to awaken but enviably does. I did like how with this season and frontier both tried to step away from the Skull Greymon type story (probably cause Tamers did it the best) and did their own focusing on their own mechanics like Beast Evolutions difficulty to control for humans or Burst Mode being a power that must be accessed by positive emotions with your partner instead of negative or risk turning to ruin. Also the Gizumon idea is so good here and I love it!
Gizmon 2K looks so sick! I can totally see it as the final boss of a Digimon Story game, as well as an alternate antagonist for Savers. Really a brilliant idea.

If Karn does more custom evolutions for 02 ultimate and mega forms maybe he could do dark evolutions for them. Maybe the lore behind them was the kids were able to achieve evolutions without needing to DNA digivolve but something corrupted the process turning them into the custom designs.

I really like Gizmon 2K, it feels like it could be the final boss of Savers after Yggdrasil
hey, here's what might have happened in another digimon data squad movie: kurata survives the explosion and ends up somewhere in the digiworld, and finding an abandoned fragment of yggdrasil and returning to the real world recruits rogue hackers, to create an army of gizmons (one of them being 2k) to continue your plans. however the 2k gizmon gains will and ego of its own, and upon seeing yggdrasil's memories of what kurata did to the other digimons using his own kind, he with a similar hatred to keena (albeit a more intense version) towards kurata, if revolt against him and take control of all the other gizmons starts a kind of genocidal campaign, to exterminate all humans and conquers the real world for yggdrasil (although he doesn't want to) rule it, as he apparently has become a fanatical worshiper (also deluded) of yggdrasil.

it would be interesting if any Fictional characters Digimon Partners had custom Armor forms, DNA Digivolution, Biomerge forms, and Dark Digivolutions, and crossover mode Changes like Monitormon(Alisa) and Ginryumon (Lars) DNA Digivolve or Dr Strange having a Dark Digivolution with Wisemon based on Strange Supreme, or Yugi Moto Biomerging with Harrismon to create a form based on Dark Paladin or Thor Biomerging with Elecmon to create an an AllFatner themed Digimon

In particular, I quite enjoyed the combination of Greymon-line digimon's equipment implemented into Gloomgreymon, as well as the inspiration of the Y2k event into Gizmon 2k as rather clever touches into designs going off the concept of dark digivolution. Once again, I'm suggesting Jogress/DNA Digivolutions of Digimon from different seasons/series in the Digimon franchise; in the prior comment I made the suggestion in, I gave the example of Guilemon and Gaomon Jogressing because they share having the Digital Hazard symbol in their Ultimate/Perfect Level stage.

I found out that in one Digimon game there is this girl named Rina who beats up a mega level Digimon.
Maybe a video on the strongest human in the Digimon World would be interesting. Markus or his dad would likely make to the list since their Digisoul are at Mega Level. Then you have Kurata's henchmen who can also beat up Digimon before Digivolving.

Really love these and you spoil us man. I think the RizeGreymon one is the weakest for me. Definitely love Lilamon's, Chirinmon's and MachGaogamon's the most. I wonder what Ghost Game DARK Digivolutions would look like as I don't think the series will tread on it outside of GulusGammamon which is a shame as it has the potential to give everyone one.
